1.5. Bad read.

The blurb sounded like so much fun! And I've read the author before, so it's the perfect combination, right?
Well, nope. Not always.
The characters felt fake. The story made no sense. The plot, although it should have been awesome, was pretty bad.
I tried to like it, I really did, but it was just wayyy, way too over the top and nonsensical. So, no thank you.
The only reason I finished it was because I skimmed a lot

Why not less than 1.5? Well, the plot wasn't awful and I didn't want to throw the book out the window, so that's a plus.
