I'm pretty sure no other Lauren Layne book will ever match up to Walk of Shame for me. (Also, now I kind of want to re-read that one, now that I think about it.) This was one of those stories where a failure to communicate just further complicates matters and it takes the whole of the book to get things sorted out. It was also kind of flat (read: no chemistry) and predictable and why can't all of her books be as good as Walk of Shame?
