I have read this series from the beginning. It is always a great escape read. I enjoy the series, but I am finding it difficult to write a review and not keep saying the same thing. I was originally drawn to the series because the story is set in the future. The story takes place in New York City and is primarily a classic “who-done-it” mystery.

I am always amazed how Robb has managed to not repeat a storyline; each book is fresh and has a unique catch to the story. While reading this book, I began thinking how appropriate Galahad, the cat, was. With Eve and Rourke’s lifestyle, a dog would not be ideal. Robb has revealed that Galahad was a perfect pet for Eve’s personality. This is more of a “follow- the- money” type of mystery. As usual, there is lots of action. It was great to visit all my favorite characters. Cannot wait for the next installment.

I read this as an audiobook downloaded from Audible. The book is almost fourteen hours. Susan Ericksen does a great job narrating the series. Ericksen is an actress, director, author and audiobook narrator. Ericksen has won multiple Earphone Awards and is a three-time Audie Award winner. She has narrated many books I have read and I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to her.
