I wasn't a big fan of this book. The writing was good, but the story felt predictable and went on for too long. I also really disliked the main character. I was excited to learn about the historical aspects of the Jewish experience on St. Thomas, but there really wasn't enough there to keep me interested. I was skimming the book by the end just so I could be done.
