Grip Remix Tour
Grip was a true rollercoaster ride, emotionally intense and profound. It tackles thought-provoking subjects and this aspect is not so usual in the context of a romance. It gives a unique character to this beautiful story of true love. This book deals with racial tension and I loved that the author doesn’t shy away from harsh realities and tough issues. Grip is a book that resonated with me and has become an instant favorite of mine. This book has substance and many pages, but I literally devoured it!
Grip is set 8 years after Flow. After her graduation, Bristol has moved to LA to be in her brother’s life. She is managing Grip’s music career and he is on the cusp of worldwide fame. The author really took the time to explore the evolution of Grip and Bristol’s relationship and develop their characters. Their relationship is based on trust and a profound friendship that becomes a passionate love affair as the story unfolds.
This book is truly an exceptional and brilliant read, from the amazing character development to the unique storyline. Pacy writing, punchy dialogue, glamour, crackling tension, high-octane drama, it’s got it all! I was so happy to read this epic romance, with thrilling and thought-provoking elements. It really is a gem of a story and I can’t recommend it enough!
