There's the article about Hale that everyone has been talking about. And it's not going to prevent me from reading this book.
Yes, she took it waaaay too far, but Danielle Paige did nothing wrong, She gave her support to her, big deal! Fans stalk authors all the time, and harass them. Hale shouldn't have done what she did. Daniella simply said it was something all authors wished they could do, that doesn't mean she'll do it, or wants to mow down the rights of bloggers.

I really liked Dorothy Must Die and not reading the sequel because of this is dumb. I hope the rest of you read it when it comes out too.

Tara Mann Hi there! How r u? My name is Tara. I'm just started reading The Wicked Will Rise, I was reading ur comment and other about this book and Daniella Paige, I was wondering if u wouldn't mind telling me what was going on with her, I've heard some negative comments, I'm not sure what's going on...thank u.

Jamie I fully agree with how you see the situation. While Hale is a nutcase+, Piage simply said she wished authors COULD do. Not 'I do this too.' or 'authors should do this more often'

Shelly It is refreshing to see your comment. I completely agree with it. I think Hale did take it to far but it isn't preventing me from reading this book. I have seen several mean nasty things from bloggers but that doesn't get Hale the right to do what she did.

Jess While I haven't decided yet if i think Hale took it too far or not i think it is ludicrous to not read another authors book based on the authors tweets about something they didn't even do. I kind of understand why Hale did what she did, it must be terrible to have your work and life insulted on the internet and have it recommended to never be read. Of course that does not mean I would ever do it or I am condoning what she did and it is great to see your view on it.

Kasia Thank you! Finally someone with common sense.. Danielle did not do anything horrendous, she simply stated her opinion, which I believe we all have a right to.
