I was so excited for what was to come and over expressive when I read this book and the rest in the series. I have been supporting this author through her publishing even if she forgets me. It is an honour to see Des travel this far with an adventurous and supernatural book. To any that enjoy werewolves, witches, and warlocks, read this book!...more
**spoiler alert** I found this book to be quite slow. It needed more drama in it. I was about to put the book down when nothing but the monster(s) was/were on the island, but then at that same moment I found out about Kana's secret.
I hated how in the end Kana was just left out. Instead, including him in the monster group, or having him left out but at least feel some emotion towards that.
I really didn't like the fact that Line stayed alive. I felt in his condition he should have just died on the wall in order for there to be a little bit of sadness, in order to build the seriousness of the relationships.
I read this on a teachers recommendation. If you like spooky stories read this. It has no big snappiness, or heavy emotion related to sadness. This held a tremendous amount of up-going attitude that I find very rare. With it being rare I would have like just a little less hope within the three.
I am making this book sound really bad but, honestly if is quite good. It was very on edge, and EXTREMELY unique. The character build of Kana was amazing, I love his guts. Well done!...more
**spoiler alert** Mistakes...this is a topic much of us think of, have opinions about, and argue about.

The stupid girl learns her mistakes in the end by going through tough decisions, and well, hell.
Personally I hated the main character, Katie. She was so...ignorant. She did not want to give up the fact that her boyfriend, Issac, 'loved' her. Newsflash! Issac is a **** who is ssssoooo self centred he puts sports before his girlfriend. LISTEN TO MITCH!!! He fricken loves you and actually knows what he is talking about!
Sorry as you can tell I was frustrated by the stubbornness of Katie.
I LOVE Mitch and when he died because of a certain persons stupidity I was FUMING! The end was fabulous though, great relief.
Overall the book was a good romance story, well done!...more
