This is the second book in the Lovelight series. Every book follows a different couple but the stories are in order so you could read spoilers about a previous couple if you read them out of order.
I read the first one last month and I checked who were the next couple and I was super excited for their story! I really love this series so far.
The romance was incredible, they had a two-night stand and we learn about that in the first book and then they meet again and it's just so good.
These are small town romances and this is also second-chance romance.
It was super romantic and wholesome. I love Beckett, he's just amazing and so cute. And all the animals! It was so good of him to want to take care of them all. Evie was a fantastic character too, I felt for her wanting to find her happiness.
I love knowing more about the farm and everyone else in town. It's such a lovely place.
I can't wait for the next two books, I already know the couples. I've been dying to read about the next one! I'll read it soon!...more

This is the fourth and final book in the Lovelight series. Every book follows a different couple but the stories are in order so you could read spoilers about a previous couple if you read them out of order.
I absolutely adore this small town, its people, the main couples in the books, everything! I'm going to miss them so much. The author said she's not closing the door to Inglewild completely and I hope to read more about it some day.
I love Nova and Charlie, the main characters in this one that we knew from before, they both needed to realize some things about themselves and it was a fantastic journey. I fell in love with their story.
The romance was perfect. It was going to be a one night stand to get it out of their systems and we all know how that usually goes.
I love how close the family and friends are in these books, it's like everyone in town is a big family.
I loved Charlie's personality and how much he worked in the farm to help Stella and everyone else. I also loved the ending, the epilogue was great. I think this may be my favorite couple, or well at least my second favorite cause Stella and Luka from the first book have a piece of my heart.
This book has so much love and friendship. It was a perfect ending of this series. ...more

Zanders is a hockey player and he plays the role of the player everyone hates. He spends too much game time in the penalty box and he leaves the arena with a different woman each time. And then he meets Stevie in the team's private plane. Stevie is one of the flight attendants for the hockey team for this season. There she meets Zanders, the most arrogant player of the team but also too attractive for his own good. Stevie promised herself she wouldn't hook up with an athlete again but Zanders may be making it a bit difficult.
I loved this. I really loved the main characters, their personality, their chemistry and their friends and family! It was so good.
The romance is amazing, I was rooting for them since the beginning. They're so good together. And it's a forbidden romance cause if anyone found out Stevie would lose her job.
I loved Maddison (Zanders' best friend) and his family, they were all adorable! And it's wonderful to see that Zanders is like family to them.
And the dog shelter!? That was an amazing thing in the story, loved it!
I also loved how important mental health is for Zanders, that was really good.
I'm really intrigued about Stevie's brother, he's a fantastic brother and I saw the next book is his so I can't wait to read it!...more

This is the first book in the Lovelight series. Each book follows a different couple from the same small town.
Stella is the owner of a Christmas tree farm and she's having some money problems so she enters a contest to win the prize money. In the application she writes down she owns the farm with her boyfriend which is a bit of a lie cause she definitely doesn't have a boyfriend but she thought it'd be more romantic for the application if she said that. So now she needs to ask her best friend, the one she's been in love with for years, to be her fake boyfriend while the influencer who's in charge of the contest visits them. No pressure or anything.
This was wholesome. I loved every second of it. From the lovely story of how Stella wanted to have a Christmas tree farm, to the friendships, the people from this town and the romance. Perfect.
The main tropes for this are friends to lovers, fake dating and small town romance.
I loved the romance. I always say I love enemies to lovers cause of the angst but I truly adore friends to lovers because it's beautiful to see how two people who know everything about each other find out there's more to their friendship.
The work at the farm was super interesting, Stella loves her job and it shows. I also loved Beckett and Layla (I can't wait for their stories!) and their work.
Do I need to say I loved Luka?! He's perfect for Stella.
The author said each of the books from this series take place in a season and this first one is in winter which is my favorite season so it was extra special.

Lakeshore U, where hockey is religion, and the players are gods. Are you ready to fall in love with a Laker? Aurora moves in with her brother and his two teammates in University until her apartment is been fixed. She's shy and loves reading so she imagined she would be in her room reading all the time. But that's until she gets to know Noah and her life starts to change. Noah's a heartbreaker and a player, so when his best friend asks him to look out for his sister he doesn't expect to be interested in her. But Aurora is off-limits and it can't happen, right?
This is the first book in the Lakeshore U series. There are two prequel novellas and you could read this out of order (I have, I've read a couple before this one) and it'll make sense cause they all follow different couples but you will read spoilers of the previous books in some of them.
I started this series with an audiobook of the second one that I got from Forever Romance PR and I enjoyed so much that I bought and read the first novella and then I got the audiobook for the third one too and I was sold by that moment. It's such a good hockey romance new adult series.
I really loved it. I couldn't stop thinking about it. It hooked me from the beginning. The forbidden romance, the bookish stuff, the characters... It was so good. It was so good that this one made to my favorites list. I adored Noah and Aurora's relationship and I also loved Connor and how he treated Aurora like a sister, it was endearing. I also like how there are also serious issues in some of this books and it's not just a romance, there is so much more.
I can't wait to read the prequel novella Ice Burn and I'm super intrigued by Cold as Ice!...more

In the middle of a war between two gods, Iris Winnow finds herself trying to hold her family together. But her brother went to fight in the war and her mother is suffering from addiction. So Iris is working hard trying to win a promotion as columnist at the Oath Gazette. But her rival, Roman Kitt, is making it very difficult for her as he's also trying to win the promotion. Iris finds comfort in writting letters to her brother and slipping them beneath her wardrobe door, cause she doesn't have an address to write to and the letters seem to dissapear when she slips them. Until one day she finds a letter in her floor, someone replied to her.
I adored every second of this story. The writting was captivating and the story was so interesting since the beginning.
It had a couple of twists (I think I only saw one coming!) and they also felt true to the characters. Like it was the right thing for them all the time.
It's kind of a lighter fantasy cause there are gods that are fighting, there are creatures, myths and a bit of magic in some places/items but it didn't feel like a fantasy book where there are so many new rules to remember. It was lighter in that way but it also fit the story.
The romance was so cute and wonderful and I loved that it's not multiple pov, there's only one narrator but the narrator tells about many different characters' pov, if that makes sense. So we do get to see both sides of the romance and I loved it so much.
I adored the letters and I was waiting for the next letter all the time. They're just wonderful. And it was fantastic that we knew the how they get to send and receive the letters.
The ending was incredible, I didn't think it would be like that and I can't wait to read the next book....more

Oraya is the human adopted daughter of the Nightborn vampire king. She's always wanted to be less human and to have more power so she decides to enter the Kejari: a legendary tournament held by the goddess of death herself. The winner of the tournament gets a wish. There she meets Raihn, a ruthless vampire, who finds her interesting.
I need to take a moment to admire my gorgeous Owlcrate edition of this book, love it.
The romance is a slow burn and I wasn't expecting that but I really loved it! It didn't feel all that slow. And the chemistry between them was great.
The story is narrated by Oraya and it also has flashbacks. Sometimes I wanted Raihn's POV too but Oraya's thoughts and journey were amazing though.
I'm interested in the world, I need more information and I'm glad there are at least two more books in this series.
The trials of the tournament were so good and unique, I was so invested in them. It kind of reminded me of the Hunger Games but an adult version, that was both nostalgic and fantastic.
The flashbacks added a lot to the story and you understand more about Oraya with them.
That ending, wow. It got to a part where things started revealing and there were a few plot twists one after the other. So good!

That's until a phone call, more than a decade after she left, sends her back there. So she will have to face the reality of what happened twelve years ago.
The story is told in two time-lines, the past where we see Percy grow up summer to summer from 13 until 18 or so and the present where Percy is 30.
It was so good. I loved the chapters from the past but I also was intrigued about the chapters in the present.
