In 30% end, the story began to develop into something more interesting. The majority of this book tells us about the progession of trust between Vine-Anton. Plus all the pregnancy issues.
Even at the more interesting part, it gave major dissapointment, like, #1 the most anticipated war scene is being cut out. after teasing ME, more than half of the book. just like that? ok. #2 Also, the labor scene is being cut out. so then whats left to read? #3 Ofcourse, Daniil last wisdom is being cut out too.
Overlooking those three issues above, i gave some insight. Seems the author has a phobia for real moment confrontation right at it supposedly went down. So, instead, she unconciously avoid the scene and only display it later as an aftertought after the damage is done. this kind of condition somehow makes the storyline flow up and down.

i dont know the author background, but the book gave me more than enough insight to breast implant surgery and the psychological side of the general plastic surgery. really educating, thanks.

"What I really want is that ideal woman, the one who’ll make me do things I never imagined I’d do for someone—the one who makes me so uncomfortable that just being in her presence makes me stretch my limits as a man and as a person."
Hero :: Dr. Simon Mark Sessions Only child of uberwealthy family. Sex therapist. Blue eyes. Celebrity. 28 y.o. Heroine :: Lina Lee Chestnut brown hair and hazel eyes sparkling. Engaged to Simon’s college enemy. An actress. Master degree in communication.
An erotica. Too fantasy to be a contemporary. Sex therapist who is willing to do any kind of treatment to enhance the sensuality of his patients. Elite family. Bored wealthy women. Instalove. 1st POV of the male MC. Office sex. Elevator sex. Love traumatic hero who captivated at the first sight of a taken heroine. Cliffhanger.
I was captivated with the very first page of this book. From the way it is told in the male lead POV, i got this good feeling that the book would be full blown teasing me and full of sexual tension. Actually Simon POV quite incredible. Thats until his patient shows up. Well, the story just instantly turned PWP and cheap by how absurd the session goes.
"Some might say that made me more of a gigolo but I disagreed. I was a damn good therapist and it was hardly my fault that the women I treated seemed to fall for me." Okaaay. You know what i mean? Simon is annoyingly cocky character. He thinks he is some godgift to womankind or something.
Here we go again, "Over the years men had grown to be rather jealous of me, making it so I didn’t have all too many male friends but I couldn’t help it. Great genetics and magnetic charisma gave me an advantage. And, of course, being smart helped, too."
Storyline wise, a thing or two could be learned through Dr. Sessions therapy and talk show. Some of it quote worthy. But not much content be told, maybe because this is a novella. The progression kinda slow tough. The author made the heroine so mysterious.
"sex is way more than two people finding a place where they can be intimate without any worries. It is a connection that joins a man and woman, heart and soul, and is an important bond of their life for all eternity. That’s one benefit but for women, it’s a little more and different. You’ve had so many boundaries and obstacles over the years, false labels, and problem.."
Well„ ofcourse Lina would be his new patient. The story only went back to the fantasy way when it just start to get to a normal and real level. And ofcourse she is a virgin. A virgin actress. Please.
"I’m not sure how to approach this while keeping you…physical inexperienced but mentally aware."...more

Book #1 in For The Night series. Full blown erotica staring Logan Steele. Picky. Know what he wants. Londoners. A very accomplished dirty talker. With a phyton plus its large girth.
Its a prelude to second book. Or it seems so. From the way he rattles a lot about his next client.
Love this one. But it got a glimpse that made me nervous i might be not liking the next if the storyline goes in that way. When i read that this series would be a story of his every client, i expect someone who really detached to work and never wonder about what his heart really looking for. I thrive for that "real" gigolo character, like Cara McKenna's Curio . Now, Logan had a tendency that he would fall for some client, because she is different and blah blah blah. Thats so last year. Hope it would not driven to that.

Heroine :: Beth Thomas Mother of two boys. A wife to Rick. A professor to David. Protective mother. Mid 30s. Hero :: David (to me, lol) Light brown hair. Green eyes. College students. Sensitive. Former Beth's student. 21 y.o.
"Have you ever felt like something is missing in your life? Like maybe there was something more you were supposed to do or be or have?"
A contemporary romance. Mature age. Cheating in marriage life. Student/Professor affair. Story of the deceased love in marriage, and find another new ray of sun in inappropriate time and person. Infidelity. 1st personPOV, Beth.
"I figured now I just seemed pathetic to him, a lost woman who shared his house and barely noticed him."
Is This All There Is to me feels more like a Memoir rather than a romance book. Especially because we all know only from Beth side. The feeling she experienced and the feeling it awaken in me just exactly like what i would probably feel if someone i know told me about this exact story. Remorse, bitter, and a lot what ifs, even a why. This is why i can not did my usual review style. It feels unrespectfull to criticize such a real experience like this. This kind of life is what i resent most, and a reason why i am not eager to be married.
Holy heaven. What kind of woman who would not melting at David alley seduction?
Clearly lots of quote worthy phrase. Even also lots of appropriate metaphor here and there. I shiver a lot to the likeliness of it to some real life situation that i know.
"We were inseparable for the remainder of our collegiate lives. And now, here we were, all these years later, with a gulf between us so wide I thought it might swallow us both up."
“Who am I?" I cried reading this statement. Just like the popular saying that we aware, woman only be on her ownself in the time where she is still single, after married she becomes someone wife, then after delivering she becomes someone mother. Naturally. And Beth is a perfect example of it. Alongwith the eternal question that something pop out, when she realize she is losing her identity, her self.
“You’re twenty-one, right?” “Almost twenty-two.” “How old do you think I am?" “I don’t care. It doesn’t matter,"
“So there’s chemistry between us, so what? There are more important things in life."
"You’re trying to remember who you were." I also cried to this.
I think i found something for my "looking for" bio after reading this book. I love to read a story about maintaining love, instead of finding love like the common theme in romance book. I've read some other series that have theme like this one, like Spiral of Bliss series, The Education of Caroline, but this one explore the more emotional and rational side of the issue.
" God had played a cruel trick on me, setting me up in a life with one man and then showing me the man of my dreams, laughing all the while because there would be no way for me to really be with him. "
The story is so beautiful yet so sad at the same times.
"So did you fuck him?" So lethal. Rick anger is soooooo perfect for a reaction to the adultery.
5MILLION all-woman-should-read-this stars! beautiful, intense, sad, tear-jerking read. really glad to read it. absolutely cant forget it in instant, made it to my fave list.

Jordan. Blonde. Slender. Middle age wife. 45 y.o. Ari Ash. Pianist. Sea green eyes. Late 40s. Long black curly hair.
Attorney couple. Tel Aviv. Philosophist. Middle age crisis. Weird style of writing. Between chapter often has no connection. Written in journal style, complete with date in the beginning. Emotional read. Open marriage. Erotica, beautifully written. Lots of metaphors. Sweet and romantic, melting me.
Their connection, Ari to Jordan, Sam to Jordan captivated me. This one of those book that overflow with romantic phrase in the conversation, but not making me cringe because the overcheesiness. It was perfectly placed and said from understandable characters. The book held so much emotion on it, but i dont know why not a single event tripped me over to the cry-cry-land.
The suspense slash mystery things also well done, fully lined, eventough i cant grasp the need to do such a horrible act with that motive, later it being elaborated more. The ending is open, i guess. But it is nice to read more epilogue in Jordan relationship, since Jordan clearly so heartbroken before that. You'll never guess who Jordan finally choose, Ari or Sam. I've been fooled, nice twist.
“I just can’t live with the idea that you will be the last woman I ever sleep with. And the opportunity presented itself.”

Hero :: Weston James Malone. 6 Feet. Gray eyes. 28 y.o. Tattoo on pecs. Ex Navy turns Cop Deputy. A divorcee. Heroine :: Frankie Delenski. Platinum blonde hair. Slender five eight frame. 23 y.o. Smartass. Terrible but persistent liar. Impulsive woman. Blue eyes.
"Clean shaven, hair cut shorter with the slate-gray deputy’s uniform clinging to his muscular body. She’d never wanted to be arrested more in her life."
A contemporary romance. Suspense. YA. 3rd POV, alternating between MC and other character. Loan shark. Vegas girl. Trailer. Lot of strangely funny character. Skunk. 20s.
The solution to the Grand Theft accusory was perfect. No prolonged drama. Now, i wonder, what would be the issue then?
Their honesty, and funny stories. Even a hook up between granpa and granma is entertaining. Lol, their charade for Lidya. I never been snorting that much in months. Silly, and too funny.
Wayne. So intriguing. Will he get his own book?
"There’s just something about you, Frankie, that makes me crazy and all I can think about is if I don’t kiss that pretty mouth of yours, I’ll go insane."
Lol. But. . Sorry. The sexy times is so awkward. Think they are not made to do that. The characters are both too funny for me to imagine they tangled up in sex scene. They both act like a long time marriage couple.
Now i get my own version of "a scene that u would love to see in movie". This whole Wes butt naked carrying Frankie with sequined bra plus daisy duke, fireman style, in the heavy snow at that. It definitely would made a lovely picture.
Wow! What a twist! Gary! And the drag queen. Also Dr. Chops. Awww but the climax is so short. Its a pity because the atmosphere just getting good, then baaaammm its over. Waaaw. The baseball card! Really full blown twist.
Awwwww... the lazy eyes conversation. Oh the old school Wes. Well. Clearly the romance part is suck. I love their banter more.
WAW! Its not over. The real twist is just about to begin. Great, a false epilogue. Tricky read. And always, even in a moment of panicky, a taste of humor still there. I felt bad actually, when i should be mourning over the story, instead i was gigling like a mad woman.
"Well, the way I figure, it’s like this. A man wouldn’t bleed all over the forest and take a dip in an ice-cold river when he’s riddled with holes for just any girl. Gotta be love…or insanity."
Alwaaaays! The last page is mising. Right at the most crucial moment. Is all ARC from this publisher cut abruptly like this? This is my third time.
Overall, this is a contemporary romance borderline funny, lots sexual tension, great character, lots quote worthy phrase. I LOVE FRANKIE! She's one of my top favorite heroine.

Heroine :: Tilly Danes Countrified bumpkins. Short and curvy. 30s y.o. Robin's egg blue eyes. Red hair. Small neck tattoo. A babe in the woods. Hero :: Jordan Kelly Movie star good looks. Blonde lovers. 35 y.o. Funny, sexy, mean. A bit on sassy sides. Don Juan complex. Lame pick up line.
A contemporary romance. Mistery. Suspense. Top celebrity chef. Detective. Reality culinary show. 3rd POV alternating he/she. Cruel homicide. Serial murdering. The same old, tease her if u want her attention. Broadcasting as a background scene. Lots celebrity spotting and paparazzi. Sex in above 50% mark.
" As much as he detested the guy, no man deserved to have his penis cut off." Right. I dont expect this slapped me on my face, only several pages after i started to read the book. So i guess the book would lean towards the mystery storyline. My first expectation after reading the blurbs was, to learn how much hatred between the three during the culinary show. Alongside the character's introduction. No. No. This one doing it all while keeping the storyline going forward.
Well. The jumping POV, confusing me. Sometimes i need to read more than a time to understand who said what, who doing what. Sometimes its his/her POV, then jumps to 3rd person knowing-all POV.
"How could he fight a man who rode a white horse, saved children with a single bone marrow transplant, and wore a bulletproof vest? “ Tyler Jericho is such a sweetheaaart. His persona, how he switched his detective facade to the man persona. While Jordan, is hot and cold. And the game of love triangle they played were so much entertaining in a midst of all the serious investigation storyline. Also their pissing contest, especially the one at the coffee shops. Lol. I love the fact that he is not threatened by Jordan advanced on Tilly.
Lol, the get the shoot in butt moment. Bet its there just to show up Tilly's infamous butt. Drugged Tilly is so silly. Their jealousy, real cute. I have more interest in this love triangle rather than the main storyline about murder case.
Some that ticked me off, (view spoiler)[## Jordan reaction to a 15 y.o pregnant Tilly is not "YOU HAVE A CHILD?" . Like he already knew the fact, which he did not. Like having child that young is usual.
## Police officer that came with hotel staff. I dont remember them informed the hotel about the homicide. Tilly only asked the hotel security to come up before she knew about the homicide.
## Oh the comparison of chopped dick with bratwurst. Thats disgusting.
## Their so called asshole boss not making a scene with Jordan after Jordan damaging one of the camera. (hide spoiler)]
“I must be getting old." “What makes you think that?” “This is the first time a woman has come close to giving me a heart attack."
Romantic suspense borderline on romantic comedy. Funny. But it lack of giving me a purpose to read the end of it. I am not even curious who the murderer is. I might be have a guess who the murderer is, but surprise me. There might be a twist here in the book. Lets see..
Tilly got some remarkable attitude! It isnt a lot heroine who could realistically take upon every opening opportunity like she had. She is single and available, why the hell not riped off all the attention she got. Not getting overthinking about morality of jugling two men at once. Why the hell not? While she building a bridge toward a secure relationship, accepting a hot offer on the side is an okay thing to do.

A packed novella. Erotic romance. Wedding party as the background scene. 3rd POV. Instalust. New lover vs old fling. PDA.
" Once upon a time, three was her magic number. The key to managing everything life had thrown at her. Good and bad. " The Three fetish is no joke. Everything related to three.
I love Jo character. Bold, mischiefs, retired bad girl, naughty, daring, forward, held her own ground, so wanton, horny balls, aggressive. Great banter, lively character. The book built on the strong character and great chemistry between them. Plus the conversation.
This is my first Mature Romance read. Over 50s characters in every state of relationship wise, divorced, still player, tamed party girl. Gave me an insight about what keep them single, and me really appreciate that. Some of their thought justified my own thought about certain issue.
Ohhhh. Why i am getting curious about this Will Tarrant? Does he have a full length story? He is such a mood and adrenaline boosting in this story. His chemistry both with Josie and Greg really feed up the storyline.
Oh dear.. so funny. From that instant sleeping, morning in the closet, Will - Greg frienemy. Hell the way Will constantly taunting Greg raise a lot of question about where trully Will heart was. And i bet it would be sizzling experience to read about this trice in bed. So much competition. Not a seriously annoying one, more like good natured playful banter between two buddies.
"He’s my best friend.” He raised one shoulder in a shrug and his mouth ticked up on one side. “You’re my biggest mistake. I shouldn’t have let you slip away. Let me do one thing right."
Hmm. I felt this book is more about Will from Greg-Josie POV. Everything have something to do with Will. Oh wow. Really. This book motivates me to read anyhing that included Will on it.
"A little bad, but basically good."
"I’m a good man, Josie, but you make me want to be a bad one."
Lemme tell you, the three little words are not plain classic I Love You it refers to.

" I may not dodge real bullets, Jessica Sullivan,” Blake said. “But I know what it takes to build a hero from the inside out.”
Hero :: Blake Johnston. a Big Screen Sex Machine. Action movie star. Green eyes. Heroine :: Jessie Sullivan. War veteran. Fire department crew to be. a spirited and sexy former marine. Spiky, short brunette hair. Gray-blue eyes. Feisty and obstinate. Five foot nine. Battle scar on her thigh. Smoky blue eyes. Really forward.
A holiday novella. Red hot christmast fling. Contemporary romance. Gym as a background scene. Dual POV. Instalust. The comparison between battlefield hero and real life hero. Beautiful style of writing, almost poetic but not all the time. Self refinding. Ugly duckling to stunning swan. Sex at 50%. Let go off guilt. HEA.
Ahh alright. For such a seemingly tough woman. Or the author built her character as a tough ex marine woman. The change to vulnarable war veteran was so abrupt and too early. And to a man she despice too at that. I love the beginning, the building character of Jess. Then not even a chapter later this change happening. Such a waste.
"He couldn’t be the guy worthy of someone like Jessie, but he could be the guy who set her free to discover the right on."
Well. Blake. So much for overthinking that he is not a right man for Jess. In the end he jumped out at the first hint of "no strings attached".
Too many promising scene cut out. The make over, the wedding party, the christmas dinner, jessie reaction while reading the script. After all, it is a novella. Maybe i should read the series to understand the dynamic and the missing sniplets.
"But you’ve got to let go of the past if you’re going to have the future you deserve."
Actually, when i first read the blurbs, i expect some kind of power play in bad, the MC foghting for dominacy since both of them seems dominant. Especially the heroine. It would be a different scene created by an ex marine heroine with an action hollywood star hero. Hmm, unfortunately no. It is not the case in this story. The book focus on the opposite of it. How an ex marine struggle to trigger her female instinct back in the arm of a dominating male.
"She needed the shelter he provided. The place that existed within the sweet surrender of shared intimacy."
Granted, the book has an incredible not too descriptive but poetic smut. More to erotic romance rather than erotica. Since it only happened once in the novella, i am gratefull the smut written tastefully. Buuuuut, too short for such a sexual tension.
Overall, the book really was trying to hard to be not labelled as a PWP story. At the beginning the character building was great, but faltering by only half of the book. The back story was too general, like just to lengthen the book, just an afterthought. And in the end, it is a PWP story for me.
"You offered your heart to me. Not because you wanted something or because of the power I wield. But because you recognized who I am and loved me enough to force me to face that guy in the mirror. I’ll never deceive you, or myself, again."
A fling turns into forever. Why is it so hard to search for a book that really is just a fling? ...more

Heroine :: Marisa Toffoli Under mobster watch. Slightly childish, love pink rhino cartoon character, disney and all that. Hates her brother, Nathan. Dark honey blonde hair. 5’4”. Blue eyes. Hero :: Joe DiFiore Marisa watchman. Olive-skinned tone. High cheekbones and dark, melancholic eyes. Deep brown eyes. Black hair. a stereotype for tall, dark, and handsome. Black Diamond Entertainment. Jack Vittorio’s made men. A capo, a captain in the Vittorio family.
An erotic romance. Contemporary romance. Mob family related. Italian in USA. Captive and captor. Indebted. A now prologue then 3 month flashback in the storyline. Casino owner. Instalust. 1st person POV, alternating between MC. Suicidal tendency. Safe word. Degradation act during sex scenes (slaps, etc). Love bites. Spanking. Mild restrain. Office sex, car sex. Reverse Stockholm Syndrome.
The storyline and character is sooo good till i dont have a single comment upto 25% of the book. Being in Joe heas is so intense, i feel all that despair and anger bolted up inside him.
"Why are you trying to make me into some kind of hero? I’m not, sweetheart. I’m sorry, but you’ve got me all wrong—"
Of all. Of all the possibilities of connection between the MCs, the looney tunes is the only thing.
Another compliments, i love how Marisa act during sex. She is full of initiative. Not some kind passive heroine who only enjoy what been given to her. She smothers, attack, strangle, going for what she wants. She shows the passion she felt, unleashed it herself. With no coaxion at all.
Oh my.. the author mentioned seismic waveeee. God it is so good to be able connect the story with my real life. I am a petroleum geophysics engineer by the way.
"She’s still too nervous to breathe. It’s hot as hell. It’s not that I want the girls I fuck to be afraid of me, but this is a license to do whatever I want with her. She’ll do what I want to please me. Because I scare her. Because of the power I hold over her."
Joe is such a cold asshole, but he did it as a matter of fact. And somehow it made the annoyingness toned down some levels. Then after all that cruel words, he suddenly did some intimate things, like kiss, or hold her. The cold/hot thing is always been a surprise in this story.
Oh come on.. a bit cheesy there, arent it? Ferris wheels, playing water war in beach wearing slacks and dress? Pleaaaase! I’m not even that corny. This is not a NA book for godshake.
“I might be too rough for you to handle.”
Editing error. Its short ORANGE knit dress, not short red dress.
First sex act describe in male POV. Rare thing! It almost always in heroine POV, because it might be easier to write. This book author takes a chance to write it in hero POV. And i could told her, well done! You nailed it.
"But it’s always the bad boys who are the best in bed, isn’t it? The ones you can’t keep, even if you wanted to."
Hmm.. marisa. How can she hates him then cares for him in a blink of an eye. Gaaaah the cheesy level only up and up.
"That’s the reality. It was a nice game to play with her, but it has got to end. I have to end it. If only the suffocating feeling in my chest would disappear."
Wellllll. Reading this book #3 of Vittorio, i wonder what happened between Vince-Joe and bad blood between Vince-Carmine. Should read the book #1 and #2 apparently.
The mobster storyline is good, with a perfect amount of violence and all that mocking between family. In the other hand, the romance storyline between the MC is well, too weak compared to the mobster background story. Too cheesy, too NA, too sweet. It might be nicer if the romance also as brutal as the mobster storyline.
"You were willing to put a bullet between my eyes a few days ago. I can’t forgive that, I’m sorry. I think I deserve someone better.” " You do deserve someone better. Well, too bad, sweetheart. I got here first. I love you and I’m not letting you go.”
I like Marisa character. She got a ball and an attitude. Whats wrong with Nathan? The reason he hates Marisa is not that clearly explained. Oh and i would love to see a side story about Marisa and Adriana hang out. They would be a BFF for sure!
in love with Marisa character. great mobster story, but not so much in romance area.

The things parents were supposed to do for each other to keep their love alive, which would in turn keep their family strong. Still, I felt a little dirty and conflicted about who I was supposed to be as a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a professor.
Darn.. this book is the exact answer to my question in book #1. A bit backtracking in several first chapter. So, i think it could be read as a standalone.
Actually, the affair that Beth is not much, isnt it? There was more guilt trip than the guilty act itself.
Wow! A surprise in Jill case. I never ever thought that this book would point to that way. What a surprise!
I couldn’t think straight. There were so many times I wanted to go confront that kid. So many times I fantasized about how good it would feel to punch him right in his pretty little face. Rick POV! I have a feeling, i am gonna crave for it. And now we have an insight to how actually Rick feeling toward Beth. It is a good move by the way. The reader would be died of boredness of this book is still all about Beth.
But she was my Beth, smart, intense, funny, wild, and unpredictable, and I loved her and wanted her more than ever, flaws and all. And i was beyond relieved to know that Rick is not always all that loyal to Beth.
Oh okay this one more an Erotic Romance. And no joke! Its so hot! I dont even know Rick could be that naughty.
The big revelation. Such a twist. Unpredictable storyline.
"I thought I had a dark side. But you really have a dark side. You let a slut from work suck your dick and then you went down on her in a closet. And you kept it from me for seven years. Who are you? What’s in there?"
Cryyyyyyy. Sam reaction is the best. And the chapter named so perfectly, Shattered Little World. The composed Sam, cried? Wow! The blaming to Jack thing.
"Just four days before, even after the fiasco in Vegas, he told me he still loved me. Now he was telling Sam that we care about each other. Had the last of his love disappeared in those days?"
Lots quote worthy and lots of learning topic. I am actually learn from Beth’s lecture.
Dave. Omg Dave. Couldnt he be more perfect? And mature? And gentleman? And passionate? And understanding?
A lot of surprise. Really unpredictable. Sometimes just plain out of the box. Never ceased to amaze me.
I love the book #1 because the emotional way its written. Dare to broach a taboo subject, an inappropriate stigma. Tough the book #2 is not as emotional, i love the element of surprises it pop up almost every chapter. The storyline is so unpredictable, leading me to a journey where i could only let myself flowing and enjoying wherever the ride takes me. And always, the surprises is surprise me, even some of it out of the box, like i dont-think-this-book-would-swing-that-way, but actually it did, and evenmore.
"Where were the lines drawn? Were there lines, or did we all fall somewhere on a mental health spectrum that determined how well we could hide our vices and pretend we were fully functional, free of addictions and afflictions?"
Just realize i dont even know all the character last name, except Beth. Its because she is being called as Professor Thomas.
I wonder if Rick and Dave would meet each other. I would be great to read a Dave spinoff. Maybe it could starts with how his POV feeling towards Beth, then proceeding to his own happy ending.
And nice ending to the story.
surprising and unpredictable. full on life inspiring quotes.

Heroine : Lola Winters. Hero : Beau Olivier. Jonathan Pace a.k.a Johnny.
"Is this enough for you? If we never got further than where we are right now?"
An erotic romance. Part of a serial. Long time relationship that fall apart. Possibly an affair. Wicked proposition. 3rd person POV know-it-all type. Lil paparazzi stunt. From nothing to something. Lots element of surprise. Some girl on girl action. Strip club. Public smx. D/s element.
" Who you are when he's not around? " Lola and Johnny are in long time relationship, 9 years to be exact. Both working for a struggling to open bar called Hey Joe. Their relationship is not going anywhere. Just steady for as long as Lola knew. And she figures this after a brief conversation with a sexy wealthy stranger, Beau.
Lots of conversation. The naration practically didnt lead the storyline. The retelling did.
"One night. One million dollars. And that's my final offer." Oh woooow! Beau. Their chemistry. Between Lola and Johnny. Lola and Beau. Everything explosive. Even their flirting and Beau proposition gave a big pit a pat to my poor heart. Their confrontation, all honest thought comes out.
Normally i love, a love triangle story. An affair and such. But in Night Fever, Johnny is too perfect to be cheated on and Beau doesnt give much temptation to be pulled in. Lets see if Beau got more to offer.
Now . Now. Not many book covers a long time relationship turned into sinking ship in detail like this. Almost step by step, sign by sign of the falling apart nicely put out here. At first i dont think there is anything wrong with Johnny. Then little by little their problem showing up. While Johnny thinks Lola deserves much more than what he could offers, in fact what Lola wants is everything that comes with Johnny. But what i dont really prefer is, when a 3rd party come to crash something strong and steady, made crack on the ship by planting a doubt on one person. I am perfectly fine if in fact there was already crack in the relationship. But not this one.
"I'm six foot two, two hundred pounds, but I'm half a man because I can't take care of you."
Eitherway.. if u squint a lot more at Beau. U'll find that what he bought actually was an opportunity. A chance to explore their attraction. And thatssss, clever.
The book gave me a rollercoaster joy and so much to be intrigued, its been a while since i experience this kind of emotion while reading a book. It made me gasping, swearing, swooning, frustating, even screaming.
"Those women are a buffet. But you? You’re delicacy. I’ll eat you slowly with attention to every bite. I’ll drink you like fine wine, savoring your taste, inhaling your scent, letting you own me for as long as you’re in my mouth. I’ll swallow all of you, but you won’t realize it until it’s too late. Until you’re a part of me,” he said. “That’s what you sold me. That’s what I paid for.”
Yes. Just like the author said, the fact that Beau attracted to Lola but still hadnt give a reasonable reason to why.
"i’m going to make you uncomfortable. I’m going to worship you. I’m going to dominate you. Any man who just has sex with a woman like you is a fool. I want to make art with you—dirty, impossible, fucked-up, beautiful art.”
Holy sht.. of all. Of all the wicked proposition i've read. Darn. This one renders me speechless like nothing else. Have no clue whatsoever what Beau would do, and what the motive, whether he is actually pure cold and cruel or with something that driven him. Totally intriguing. Then their night is sooooooo intimate, i cant even begin to describe it. I was crying while smiling. So personal, so intimate, yet hot and sensual at the same time.
"I’ll fuck you within an inch of your life, but it won’t hurt. It will calm you. Your only job is to do what I say. And, of course, enjoy yourself."
''I am not my body. I am feelings, a brain, a heart. There’s so much more to me than what you got"
"There’s more to you than one night, though, and there’s more to me. He can have the money. We can have the rest of each other."
Overall, this book definitely surpass my expectation. Wow. Just wow. The story, the character, the issue, the smut well done! This is only my 2nd 5-stars ARC, but this is my 1st ARC to be featured in my favorite shelf. Couldnt wait for more!...more
