None of the dialogue was censored. Jessica Radloff did a great job of sorting out all the history of the show and a lot of the process involved. She obviously liked everyone on the set and behind the scenes and was never intrusive or tried to make herself the story....more

There is no questioning that Hitchens is an intellect, and although I disagree with a lot that he said, I do appreciate his arguments. Some of the interviews were excellent, others were almost a waste of time. Yeah, you Jon Stewart. Richard Dawkins was sycophantic, really nothing more than a Greek chorus. I did read Stephen Fry's introduction, and it was as tedious as I expected. I am also reading Arguably by Hitchens, and so far it is terrific....more

I'm guessing that Holley asked Belichick a stupid question, Belichick did what Belichick does and Holley's nose was out of joint. Hence the hatcheting. Holley called Spygate a "catchy moniker". No Michael. "gate' is the most overused descriptive in journalism: Watergate, Irangate, Bridgegate, of course Spygate and Deflategate. And a host of others. The book was far too long. Perhaps the next time Holley will consider using an editor. 2.5 stars....more

Most of the interviews were really well done.I especially enjoyed the French interviewers.Ron Rash never had anything unkind to say about other writers or critics.Unlike one of the interviewers(I'm talking about you Mr.Birnbaum).I think the most fascinating thing about Rash is the mystical nature of how the writing ideas came to him.I was thrilled to see that there was an index, and additional resources.I am going to gift this book....more
