[close] A place to meet with others, read, and discuss interesting books we have read (or want to read) on women in islam. This includes topics such as women living in Muslim or non-Muslim countries, relationships, family, gender, politics, feminism, spirituality, and anything else relevant which focuses on women in Islam or Muslim women. Books can be both fiction and non-fiction. A book will be chosen by the members each month and a meeting will be held at an agreed upon time and place to discuss the book of the month.

The idea is to flourish proper Islamic scholarship as it was in the Golden Era. True scholars understand the importance of all types of knowledge, not just the Bangla translation of Sahih Bukhari from 1776 sitting on your bookshelf.
