The newest stranger in Strutt's Peak has a mouth as loud and captivating as the bright tattoos drawn all over her body. But she's no stranger to me. Because I’ve met her.
I’ve kissed her lips. And I'm the only one who knows her secret. She’s supposed to be dead.
Now, I hide the truth and keep her safe. Pretend we never met. Try to forget I ever touched her. Ignore that she’s always around. She's my sister's best friend now, but before that, I wanted her to be mine.
My family runs one of the country's most successful winter sports brands, making me high-profile, a target for small-town gossip, and national recognition. All of it, dangerous for her.
The stakes are too high. I know the rules. So why can't I follow them? How am I supposed to stay away from her when all I wanted to do was find her? How can I hide her and keep her safe when what I really want is to make her mine?
Forever a hopeful romantic, I write deliciously witty and wild characters. My stories range from small-town swoon-worthy men to fiercely powerful families and lead characters who aren't afraid to ask for what they want.
You will always find a little bit of fate, a whole lot of steam, and a wildly romantic ride.
Happy Release Day to this dumpster fire!! Dnf @ 43%
I…. Have no words. This book is so cringe. The line that broke me was “it’s like Cupid herself just shot an arrow straight to my coochie.” THE BOOK IS FULL OF QUOTES LIKE THIS.
An honorable mention: I’d probably feel my clit flippity-flap as if it was waving in the wind. I thought maybe it’s his green eyes with the little bit of mingling blue. I’ve decided that those fuckers don’t sparkle. Nope, they have some kind of voodoo power. Okay honestly what the hell is this? What 20-something woman thinks like this?
Not to mention all the time jumps, the complete lack of trauma processing AFTER WITNESSING HER FATHER’S MURDER, the voyeurism when the fmc is about to hook up with a woman only to provoke the mmc. She is never identified as bisexual, but she chooses to make him jealous by pretending to almost hook up with a woman when she knows he’s watching. NOPE.
AND no hate to the author, editor or cover designer, but what the actual fuck is going on with the hand on the cover. Why does she have a man hand???? Pls. I can’t. This book was a shit show.
🛑 Look at the author's trigger warning (in the "Note to Readers" section in the beginning)!!!
‼️ This is book 2 of the Riggs Family Romance Series. I would recommend reading the first book prior to this one!
POV: first person, dual
Summary: HENRY met his soulmate in a bar when he was suffering from the loss of his career. Too bad he ended up losing her as well. Years pass, and never did he expect for a dead woman to pop back into his life GISELLE has lived a life of heartache. The night she met her soulmate, she lost both someone close to her and her freedom. Lucky for Giselle, WITSEC didn't account for placing her in a small town in Colorado, where she could be reunited with Henry.
My Thoughts: First and foremost, if you are not a fan of time jumps, this book may not be for you---Please don't let that hinder you because it was written in such a beautiful way! The way it flowed was so engaging that you never felt jipped out of the story.❤️ Not gonna lie, I cried several times throughout this book. Whatever happened, it felt like there was no win-win situation for Giselle and Henry. But wow, I was so happy to be wrong! Henry and Giselle made the most out of a seemingly impossible situation... Also, you would have been slightly scarred to see me freak out over the QUADRATIC FORMULA scene! I swear I died and went to heaven!!!!🥺🥰👀 Please don't forget to read the extended holiday epilogue. I laughed so hard that I had to take my inhaler because I started having an asthma attack! I was all good in the end, though!🤣🤣
“I met a woman one night in a bar. We talked about nothing. And it was…” I shake my head. “It felt like everything.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - if I could give it 100 stars it still wouldn’t be enough.
This book is just stunning. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read.
I’m not sure I can put this in to words or do it justice but I don’t want to give away any spoilers. Go in to this book blind if you can (but definitely read Peaks of Color first- it’s a great first book in this series and the build up to this one is *chefs kiss*)
Henry and Gia/ Giselle meet in a bar in New York one night. Both feel this intense connection. They agree to meet the next night, but tragedy strikes.
Fast forward a few years, and they unexpectedly meet again in Strutt’s Peak where Henry is now back living, working alongside his family. The book then follows them through the next 10 years (with a few time jumps in there) It’s long but totally necessary- we see and feel every part of their emotions, their struggles and connection. And how they fight it. Because of their past, they cannot be together. It’s too dangerous- not only for Giselle, but also to protect those she has grown close to and now views as family. Despite the emotion and Giselle’s past, there are still so many funny moments in there, some great banter and the relationships within the Riggs family are lovely- I can’t wait for the rest of their books!
By about 50% in I could already feel the book hangover beginning! I was desperate to read and couldn’t put it down, yet wanted to savour every chapter and never wanted it to end!
Cannot recommend this highly enough- it’s phenomenal.
“Quite plainly, he was always meant to find me, try to hate me, protect me, and irrevocably, love me.”
i dunno what’s going on but the third act in these books alwayssss misses the mark? also would it kill the couples to actually sit down and have a conversation that wasn’t centering around their insta lust?
also the time jumps were so confusing it should have been mentioned at the start of the chapter how many years months etc have passed
Hide and Peak: (The Riggs Family Romance Series) by Victoria Wilder
My ⭐ Rating: 5+ Stars Tropes: Second chance love, enemies to lovers, slow burn, small town, sexual tension
“This fucking mouth of yours,” he says in a low tone that might as well be the frequency that turns my clit to jelly because, like Pavlov's dog, this bitch is salivating at the sound. “Can’t decide what you want to do with it?” I raise my eyebrows in a taunting gesture. “There’s plenty I can do with it, but right now, I’m going to kiss you. Because as much as you piss me off most of the time, the one thing that pisses me off even more is the fact that nobody kisses me the way you do. And my mouth has craved yours for so long, if I don’t feel your lips on mine in the next second, I’m not responsible for what might happen.”
This book was absolutely EVERYTHING and what a five-star book should be. The second book is in the Riggs family romance and I loved every word. Not only do you love this book but everything that goes with it; the small town, the family dynamics, the banter, the love, the connections and the spice! The spice in this book was top shelf and I loved myself sick with it. This is Victoria's second book and let me tell you she is really developing herself. Peaks of Color was super good, but this book, wow! She writes like she's been doing this for years and I can't wait for more.
Gia / Giselle was the bomb in this book and what every female MC should be. She was so much fun and I loved getting to know her. Victoria did a stellar job at creating her because she was fantastic in this story! Badass and hot AF, she was strong, fierce, sassy, with no filter when it came to backchat, sexy and appealing to both females and males. She was so sure of herself....man, I wanted to be her! She was a one-and-done kinda girl, loving her life until she meets Henry. He slammed into her world unexpectedly, leaving a mark that couldn't be replaced.
OMGEEEE, Henry was top-shelf A-GRADE HOTNESS in this book! He was Henry Cavill all over with his tall and wide frame, dark hair, green/blue eyes, big hands and veiny forearms. Don't even go there with his body, mamma mia!! Tanned all year round, athletic, a family man, a passion for cooking and fell hard for Gia before he knew what he was doing. The man had no hope when it came to her sass, individuality, confidence and her tattoos. Did I mention he's a great kisser?? Oh boy, to be kissed by Henry is the kiss of legends, knees weak, panty-melting and suction like no other.....that was incredible to experience within the pages and super swoony *sigh*
This book is incredibly different from Peaks of Color, in terms of the storyline. It's set before and after book one and is seamlessly written flowing btw the two. Everything is consistent, the connections you make with each character are amazing, and the tension and longing that you feel in this book are powerful. The spice in this story is delicious and you feel how powerful G and Henry are when they finally come together. To be in Henry's strong arms, to be kissed by this man, to be made love to and fucked by this man, all delicious and I adored every word.
Loved the short chapters and the dual POV. Ends in a gorgeous HEA and I CAN NOT wait for more books in this series.
Henry and Giselle’s story is definitely a wild roller coaster of a ride. These two meet in a NYC bar. Henry is instantly drawn to her and Giselle immediately feels it too. Their banter is playful and witty and before the night is up they plan to meet each other in the park the next day. Giselle never makes it. Henry searches for her, but when he goes to ask questions he’s told she is dead.
Henry eventually leaves New York to go back home to Colorado, but he can’t stop thinking about Giselle. He doesn’t feel she’s gone. He just can’t believe it. What Henry doesn’t know is that Giselle is being relocated to another state and in the witness protection program. He’ll find out later she is the new tattoo artist back in his hometown. A little far fetched, but it works in this book. They are both told by a U.S. Marshall that they can’t be together. This creates an incredibly tense relationship so they decide to be enemies and stay away from one another. Of course these two can’t remain that way forever. They are always drawn back to each other.
The separation between the two seems extremely lengthy and you wonder if they will ever get their HEA. Hide and Peak is off the charts steamy and if you want angst this one has it in spades. There is some banter in a few scenes that felt a bit over the top, but the family dynamics and supporting characters will win you over on this one. Oh and of course these two get their HEA. Overall, Henry and Giselle’s story kept me entertained and invested. 4/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Available now!
Perfection. Absolute perfection. Victoria Wilder has continued her Riggs family saga with a love story that topped Everly and Jack’s, and I didn’t think that was possible!
Henry and G are meant to be. They had one night of intense connection, and then what felt like the end of a missed love story. But then 3 YEARS LATER fate entwines them in the town of Strutts Peak. They both have to try to resist and deflect their feelings for one another, and they succeed, for 9 YEARS. After seeing their sister/best friend finding their soulmate, both Henry and G don't want to resist any longer. Circumstances allow them alone time in which they can explore. This is the type of second-chance romance I can get down with! And the mutual pining was *chef’s kiss*. Their connection and chemistry gave me all the feels. EVERYWHERE. And Whew! The spice between these two is off the charts!

I just knew that when I met Henry in the first book, I just knew he was gonna be my favorite. He did not disappoint.
I wanted the story so bad! I wanted to know why he and Giselle hated each other so much supposedly but couldn’t stay out of each other’s business. This is the perfect enemies to lover, I would die for you, I would crawl for you. 👁️🫦👁️
I liked it, but it was on the longer side which was tough on my toddler sized attention span. Big points for the heroine peeing after the spicy scene due to fear of UTI.
Overall, I loved the chemistry, banter and angst between these 2 characters. I found this entire story so emotional. I cried several times just because of the circumstance these 2 were in. I loved G so much. She was so true to herself and personality and she had me giggling often. I loved how soft Henry was around her, and only her. What I didn't like was the fact it took the 9+ years to get their sh*t together. I mean.. I get a waiting period because of the circumstances but really.. why did it take THAT long? It kind of gave me the ick just because G was very vocal about her partners and knowing that Henry suffered through that.. meh. The other thing that I felt was an unnecessary part of the story was the grandfather. Unless that was an opening for a plot in the future books. I felt like it wasn't needed.
Also - the bread crumbs and hints about Asher and Callen.. I need a novella of that STAT. I really hope that comes to light soon because I feel like it's definitely a thing.
Jumping right into it! When I was reading Peaks of Color, I was drawn into Henry and Giselle’s story. They had little whispers to each other. Angry glares, a drink thrown. The bicker and banter they always shot at each other. I loved it all and needed more! And that book wasn’t even about them. I immediately messaged Victoria needing to know that Henry and G were next. And here we are!
Henry and G are a second chance, fake enemies to lovers Fake you ask? Why yes, because they have to pretend to hate each other so they don’t fall in love. Falling in love would have repercussions neither want to live with.
Even with all the animosity between each other, we know they both secretly are in love. And that’s were the journey is, how can they be in love without dealing with the very serious outcome it could end with. Or how can they stay away and move on. The best part is, this story takes place over a decade. Insta love over a long time!
My favourite trope is enemies to lovers, and that is not really here. As we have already established, they are fake enemies. So you can’t go in with high hate expectations. I didn’t feel as much angst between these two in this book as I did for them in Peaks of Color. And that was ok. Their long and rocky love story is worth it
Victoria is so incredible at writing fiery FMC and intense MMC. The spice in this is 😚👌 It felt like a slow burn, yet sprinkled with enough moments that didn’t leave me . . . Dry 😉
Now the best part of the entire book, that had tears streaming down my face. Sending capital messages to Victoria late at night is the full circle ending. It was perfect! It was beautiful! It was everything I needed! I was screaming!
Strutts Peak series is fabulous and I need everyone to read it asap. The family is delicious and I can’t get enough
*ARC Review - Hide and Peak by @authorvictoriawilder releasing December 2*
Hide and Peak is book 2 in the Strutt's Peak series and as soon as I met these two characters in Peaks of Color I was hooked. Henry & Giselle have the most amazing banter and I could not get enough of them. But as we learn in Hide and Peak, the history between those two is way more than we could have imagined. Giselle's past is dark and dangerous, and she's in Strutt's Peak trying to hide from that past. And even though she and Henry both know that they need to stay away from each other for everyone's safety, their attraction to each other is impossible to deny. Until one day it becomes clear that they either give into this temptation and put Giselle at risk, or they turn their attraction into hatred to keep each other at a distance.
After almost a decade of trying to hate each other, things start to fall apart. But Giselle's dangerous past is always lingering in the background, and being together could be dangerous, not just for them, but for the entire Riggs family.
Victoria might only have 1 book out right now (2 if you could this one) but she has solidified herself as an auto-buy author for me. I absolutely fell in love with the world she created in Strutt's Peak and I absolutely can not wait for more from the Riggs family. Victoria, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read Hide and Peak early. I can't wait for everyone to get their hands on this book!
This was an emotional ride from the start holy crap.
Giselle is such a strong woman. She went through hell and back and still managed to come out stronger at the end. She's a badass, she's opinionated, she's talented shes gorgeous. Now Henry has me going insane. This man is so insanely attractive I cannot deal with it.
Them two together are freaking explosive. The minute they meet they just have such a sweet intense chemistry I loved it. When they meet again it was CRAZY (not going into details). They both are just meant to be. Their banter, sexy moments, even just plain regular conversations shows u how well they go together.
FREAKING LOVED how Giselle was best friends with Henry's sister. They are both ride and die for each other and after everything she went through Giselle deserves to have someone always in her corner. Well she has the entire family in her corner cause they basically adopted her. Henry's family are very close and Giselle just fit right in with them. Im a sucker for the found family trope.
One more thing Idk if I can consider this an enemies to lovers cause they didn't really hate each other. It was more of an let's ignore our feelings and pretend we hate each other. BUT this did add to their relationship cause they denied it for so long when they did get together it eas kind of explosive
I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read the other one in the series. NOW why do I feel like there's something going on with the dad and the cop?!😗
when I read the description I was truly intrigued by the plot. I have to say that the sex scenes were pretty sexy. however, the rest of the story was missing something. The fact that G is in witness protection and she wasn't found sooner makes no sense
she was doing all the things to get caught. A successful tattoo business that was well known and lots of people came from afar to get tattoos - that is not something that someone in witness protection would allow to happen.
Then there was Henry who had a lot of different elements to his story - beyond breaking up with his girlfriend right after finding G again.
I was just confused by a lot of things within and frankly a little bored, I don't feel like this book needed to be as long as it was.
there were a lot of storylines where Henry and G were resisting each other and I couldn't understand. I didn't get that once they said they loved each other there was still a time in which they were apart.
I think a little more research into witness protection was needed and some work don't the tension between Henry and G was unbelievable - I couldn't understand why they couldn't be together
This definitely wasn’t a “couldn’t put it down” book, but that was probably because it was long. It was long because there was a pretty good amount of history and back story. I was a bit confused in the beginning, because the timeline felt like it jumped back and forth. But overall it was a pretty good book. Second chance, enemies to lovers tropes, with a found family mixed in. Some of the phrases that were used throughout the book were so outrageous that I laughed out loud during parts I don’t think I was supposed to be (ie seggsy times) but honestly, I enjoyed laughing unexpectedly.
G is our brash, loud mouth FMC. She unapologetically says what she wants, and holds nothing back. Except she is holding back literally everything about who she is. She found her soul mate (her new bff) and was immediately accepted into the folds of her family. The only problem is the hunk who is staring her down like he knows all of her secrets.
Fake Enemies to Lovers ✔️ Forced Proximity ✔️ Small Town Romance ✔️ Best Friends Brother ✔️✔️
I can’t say much about the plot of this story because I don’t want to give anything away, but this story was beautiful in so many ways. I loved it! I was hooked from the start with the instant chemistry and jaw dropping moments.
What I can say is that Henry and G are such wonderful characters that I couldn’t get enough of. G is so bold, brave, and carefree. I love her strength and the way she doesn’t let anyone bring her down. Henry. Oh, Henry. He has a piece of my heart. Not only is he a military man, but he’s protective, and brings all the HEAT.
“I need you to deliver on the promise your eyes are always making” -“And what promise is that, pixie?” “That you’re going to fucking ruin me.”
Wow. I just finished this book and I’m pretty freaking speechless. The plot. The tension. The characters. The spice (hello, mirror). All of it…delicious! I’m not sure what Victoria puts into the words of these books but I will eat it all up every single time.
This story is complex and had me wanting more from the first page. Every time Giselle showed up in Peaks of Color I knew I was going to need more of her. She is hilarious and is so unapologetically herself at every turn. The things that come out her mouth + with her POV the thoughts that she has are some of the wittiest and creative things.
Instantly, he had me wanting to conquer his big dick energy, and then straddle him like a well-trained bull-rider. Beyond eight seconds. Multiple times, and well beyond sunrise.
Henry…oh, Henry! He is the brooding hunk that has not been able to stop thinking about G since their very first encounter. He is hardworking and kind and passionate and I would love to pretend to hate him!
I went into this book blind (as blind as someone can having just come off of Peaks of Color) and was not expecting the plot that we got. The romantic suspense came out of nowhere for me and their story was a bit of a rollercoaster ride but one that I enjoyed the whole way through. There were a couple time jumps in the book; but, again, Victoria nailed those and really told the necessary history through the characters thoughts and flashbacks.
I am so excited to stay in Strutt's Peak for another book or two. Michael…you’re up next!
“No matter where I’ve been or or what I’ve done, you’re my anchor, Pixie. No matter what adventure I choose, I want you on it.”
What to expect: -Angst and Tension -Grumpy/Sunshine -Found Family -Second Chance -Forced Proximity -best friend’s brother
Normally this is a trope I’m not the biggest fan of but Giselle and Henry are a story that needs to be read and felt deeply. After a fateful meeting and a disappearance they find each other 3 years later. Only to not be able to be together, despite them both wanting to be. They just had this instant connection. A chemistry that’s just off the charts. A feeling of home and safeness that was truly unlike anything they had felt before. Their story is so rough and honestly they are so mean to each other for a large part of their story to hide the fact they still want each other. Despite all the odds and everything that was in their way they find a path forward. The way that Henry fights for G. In the before and in the now was just otherworldly. So much swoon. Their chemistry and tension is off the charts hot. I really really just loved that they got their HEA because for so much of this book I wasn’t sure how they would find their way back to one another in a way that would be lasting. They mean so much to each other that I wanted that for them but it just wasn’t an easy path to foresee.
Love a full circle moment with the title- this is the last few lines of the book and stunningly captures my Giselle and Henry
“It’s a beautiful life. Being part of a whole. A piece of a formula that equaled happiness. A blue, purple sky after a storm. The anchor to a new adventure. A life where there’s nothing to hide from when it comes to that person, and where fighting, pushing, protecting, and loving each other every day, is the peak.”
This was a great read! Victoria’s writing was wonderful and these characters where just fantastic and had great depth. The dynamic between them so so great, they fit so well together and are a perfect match!
When we met Henry and Giselle in book one, there was so much banter, tension and ‘hate’ between, you just knew that there HAD to be more to their story. And oh my! was there!!
I loved the way this book was broken down and the timeline as well, I was captivated every step of the way. It made for such an interesting read. The turns this story took with all its ups and downs, I was completely invested in Giselle and Henry and the story.
So much emotion was poured into this book that was wasn’t expecting. I loved every moment and I found my heart breaking for the two of them multiple times. If two characters were meant to be it’s them. With so much surrounding them and full of many reasons they need to keep their distance which is imperative for safety didn’t have me hurting for them any less. This book is a journey! I swooned and laughed so much too, Henry is the grumpy one and Giselle is the fun, take no prisoners exciting type and exactly what the other needs!
Yes, this is a slow burn, but….my of my… the years of built up back and forth looks and one-liners, lust and connection have left these two spicy hot!! Henry and G are just so wonderful and the way they love is full and big! These two worked for their HEA and I couldn’t be happier for the was their story turned out!
Can’t wait to read more of the Riggs Family, with Micheal's book up next!
Henry and G....I couldn't have loved their story more. Such a unique and intriguing journey for them to find their way back to each other.
Henry is the oldest Rigg's brother. His life too an unexpected turn when an accident left him injured and unable to have the vision necessary to stay in the Air Force. But the universe had big plans for him...in the form of a high energy, unapologetic, bombshell...they spent one night together and it changed his world.
Giselle never saw him coming...and never expected she would have to disappear before they could be more. Years later she has packed up her life and starting over in Strutt's Peak...the last thing she ever expected was him, her flyboy. But her life is complicated and she can't bring anyone into the complex web that is her world.
I am obsessed with Henry and G....nothing and I mean nothing could have prepared me for their backstory!! Victoria has such a beautiful way of taking your typical tropes and storylines and flipping them on their head.
It's a slow burn...and the restraint and willpower these two show is unmatched...*spoiler* 9 years!!!!!! 9 years!!!!!
When the spice hits, you best believe things are PASSIONATE!! Oh lordy, I'm getting flustered just thinking about it now.
I have a bad habit of finding books with tropes I like and reading them, then moving on to the next author. Even if they’re a book in the middle of a series. I did that with Book 3 in this series because I love a single dad/nanny trope. But after reading book 3, I had to go back and start from book 1 and I’m so glad I did.
This is book 2 in the Riggs Family series.
*SPOILERS*
G/Gia/Giselle and Henry meet in New York when Henry is in a bald place and they immediately hit it off, but after G goes through a traumatic experience later that night, Henry doesn’t think he will ever see her again, thinking she’s dead.
Years later they run into each other after G relocates to Strutt’s and befriends Everly, Henry’s sister. Henry has never stopped thinking about G, but in order for G to stay in Strutt’s Peak, he can’t get too close to her. So for years they pretend to hate each other as it’s the only way to not let each other inside their walls. That all changes one night when G’s past catches up to her and the following 48 hours change the trajectory of their relationship.
This book took me on a roller coaster ride. It made me laugh and tear up. I love the Riggs’ relationship with each other and how G fit in with them, even while “hating” Henry.
I can’t wait for more Riggs family/Strutt’s Peak!

⭐⭐⭐⭐/🔥🔥🔥🔥 Gia and Henry had an undeniable connection the night they first met, but the next day he was told she was killed. A few years later at his engagement dinner, his sister brings her new friend who is the girl Henry met those years ago, but she has a new look and a new name, Giselle. He finds out shortly afterwards that she is in witness protection and due to his military background is tasked with keeping an extra eye on her so she can stay in this new life she has created for herself. Meanwhile, Giselle doesn't think Henry knows much, but decides they can't be together and risk that she could be relocated on a whim. For years they channeled their desire for one another into hate, until they couldn't stand it any longer.
I really enjoyed these characters and their story. Henry is quiet, but has a heart of gold. Giselle uses her flippant personality as a shield to keep from letting anyone get too close. The way Henry shows Giselle for years how he loves her while saying something else is so sweet. It's just too bad it took them so long to find their way to one another. And the spice... whew it was good!
My biggest problem with this book is that I have already read the next book in the series and I didn't feel like the timelines fully added up.
Listen one thing you have to know about me is I LOVE good food. So the fact that the above quote was in there sold me instantly 🤣 So not only does this series have a coffeeshop that's also a book store that also serves alcoholic beverages, it also has a hot airplane flying MMC that cooks, a bad ass FMC that tattoos, banter for days and HOT HOT SPICE. Literally, what more could you ask for?
I don't want to say too much about this book, but AGAIN (broken record I know) the quotes alone should sell you on this series. I laughed out loud so many times, the spice was divine and just the details of the story were so good. A little mystery in a sense along with the stress of their relationship and how it was going to unfold left you not wanting to put this down.
Last thing I want to say is Victoria at the end of her books puts a drink recipe that she speaks about and it's SO cool! Besides that she describes other food and drinks in detail enough that you want to try it... example ----> "𝗮 𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗱𝗸𝗮, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗹.” Like come ON don't you want that? LOL Just read it...do it...you know you want to!
This book was so so so good!!! I'm not normally one for instant chemistry but it soooo works for the story and the characters. Henry and Giselle meet at a bar, hit it off and then it's over...or so they think. Henry is part of a big family who's kinda big deal in the small town they live in. Giselle, is a feisty tattoo artist who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She's got a back story that keeps her in protective custody and Henry at arms length..this makes for the "fake enemies to lovers". This makes for some amazing banter between them. The tension is so perfect as well. It just keeps building up and up until they have a moment alone and all the sexual tensions come out and boy does Henry know how to please a woman! He all about making sure his woman is satisfied!!! This book is amazing from beginning to end with action, romance and a small town in Colorado that you just want to visit all the characters who know how to make people feel welcome! I so loved this book!!
