When Danger Follows You' is yet another one of my favorite novels written by Stacy Kristen. From start to end this novel kept me on my toes. I opened the book on my phone and couldn't put it down.
Maddie and Ike are quite an interesting couple. In my opinion their one of those duos that seem like they shouldn't belong together but once you see them together it makes perfect sense. Maddie and Ike are both equally as stubborn and are very protective about the ones they love. They tend to keep things hidden inside until they literally can't anymore. Yet at the same time, it's the little things that make this couple perfect. Their competitiveness, determination, sense of humor, and other things (iykyk) make them make sense.
When I first started reading WDFY I didn't think they would fall in love like that. When they met eachother the second time I was completely thrown off my game. On top of everything this book was very steamy. I could go on and on but I think I'll stop before I get too repetitive haha.
If I were asked which Stacy Kristen book is my favorite I wouldn't be able to answer honestly they are all so good

Because of Maddison’s father’s job she’s in need of protection, and what better agency than St. James Security for the task at hand!
With Maddison’s safety on the line, Ike vows to protect her and to keep his hands (and everything else 😏) to himself, but that’s easier said than done!!

Mads and Ike have a wild meet up. Later her dad forces a bodyguard on her and she and Ike have a second chance. The mystery and suspense are well done. The chemistry is off the chart. The story is icely done.

Oh my holy hotness! Whew! Stacy Kristen's "When Danger Follows" kicked the steam up to eleven! Sooo steamy! I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! If you're reading this review, you have to do yourself a solid and read it! In fact, read all her stuff because it's FANTASTIC!!!

Nice read
Nice read, good characters, and Nice set up.
However, quite a few unexplained things and the wrap-up didn't really feel fulfilling regarding the danger situation.

I adored this! Everything about Maddie and Ike! So believeable, it felt like I was in their world. I did not want it to finish and have gifted it to some girlfriends who like steamy escapes!

I loved diving into Isaac’s story! He was so intriguing in Alex and Serena’s story. I had a hard time putting this book down!
Isaac has a one night stand with a girl that ends up walking into his office for protection the very next day. His job is to protect her, not fall in love with her. We get to see a little of Alex and Serena in this story, and learn more about Isaac’s sister.

Ike is assigned to be heiress Maddie’s bodyguard… and what a body he must guard! To complicate matters, his new client just happens to be his latest one-night stand that he still can’t get out of his head. Ike’s got to push past flashbacks of their hot tryst and undeniable attraction to protect “Mads” from the shady types targeting her business tycoon father. I mean, to otherwise give in to temptation would be completely unprofessional. Right? Then again, what fun would that be? When Danger Follows You is the second book in the St. James Security series, and author Stacy Kristen revs up the tension, the steam (oh my… that cave scene!), and the heart-pounding action, throwing in enough twists to keep you guessing and turning pages until the very end.

Ike is a love-n-leave them kind of guy. Madison is a grown woman who lives a great life. Madison has a one night stand with an older man - Ike. Little does she know that she will be seeing a lot more of Ike. Needless to say, they don’t hit it off when Madison’s dad hires Ike as her bodyguard. Age gap, forced proximity, off limits, fake marriage, suspenseful situations with lots of 🌶🌶🌶🌶, you will enjoy When Danger Follows You!!
