I gave this book 4.5 stars!
Anytime you have a Anthology you get to know more than one author. I have had the pleasure of reading several of the authors in this Anthology. The ones who were new to me, caught my attention and I will be checking out more of their work.
With that being said, lets get down to the heart of the review. Most of the stories caught my attention and I was hooked. The character and storyline was easy to get into with out knowing any of the characters previously. The words flowed easily and showcased how the writer wanted to feel about their characters.
I did find on a couple of the stories that I had to really pay attention and I did have to just keep reading but I think it was more of not knowing the author and their previous work, but I will still check them out and read their books.
I would recommend this Anthology to anyone looking for a quick read, HEA's and a good Valentines day read.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. And oh am I so glad I applied for this ARC. This set of books has Kimberly Blalock, Cassia Brightmore, Skye Callahan, Heather Dahlgren, Ella Emerson, and not but most definitely not least Danielle Jamie. When I first picked up my kindle to begin reading this set of books I was hooked. First you get Dirty by Kimberly Blalock and wow just wow that book took me on a roller coaster I didn't see coming. And I am hooked Mr. Black I will be seeing you again soon I hope. Then you have Repentance by Cassia Brightmore and once again I was taken on a ride that I didn't want to get off of. I couldn't put these stories down. So now I move on to the next in this set which is Insurmountable by Skye Callahan and Miles just had me from the word go and then you add in Alley and you have a story that once again you just can't stop reading. So then I moved on to The Matchmaker by Heather Dahlgren and Not that I wasn't already a fan of hers but I would read this one over and over again. Amanda, Davis Carter and Jessica sure do have a story to tell you. But you will have to read it to know what it is. After this wonderful story we move into Savannah's Desire and then Lost in Shadows by Courtney Shockey. And then Hearts in Florence by A.M. Willard. And the only reason I am not giving you more on these books is because this review is getting rather long and I may have already lost you. But know without a doubt that each and every book in the set is very well written and keeps you wanting more and more with the turn of every page. These are all very amazing authors and they give you their all in this set. So go know and pick up your copy now.

Great set of reads if you love this genre, don't hesitate dive right in.
You know you're in for a hell of a ride when you're captivated by the first paragraphs. Lots of unexpected twist or expected if you know these ladies's work.
Cassia is the only one I know in this anthology.
I am a fan of Cassia work so I know what to expect, well sort of because you never know with her. Mind fuck is her forte and specialty. She will takes you on a trip, you will hate her, scream at her then you calm yourself and end up forgiving her.

I reviewed Repentance by the talented and twisted Cassia Brightmore.
Sam Ridley was one of the characters from the beginning of the Darkness Series that left an imprint on our hearts.
Sam has tried to live without his love Hailey when she was brutally murdered and serving time for his dealings with bringing down the vicious Mila, he has to start his life over again.
Emma Danvers just wanted to live her own life and do what she loved but her overprotective uncle had her jumping through hoops. Insert job with Sam.
Attraction, hot sex and a brooding Sam make this book a great read.
Oh, I forgot to mention the murders going on in town.
Someone is taking these women from around town as he waits until he can get to his true love.
The question is, will Sam be losing another love?
If you are a fan of the Darkness Series, then this is a must read.

Dirty by Kimberly Blalock certainly lives up to it's name. Liv is living a double life. You have the good girl who has fell on hard times and becomes a dancer. She is in a dead in relationship, and a boss who sits secretly on the sidelines admiring her, until a fateful twist of events bring brings him forefront in her life . Only he knows the secrets that she holds within.
This story grabs you and doesn't let go. It's filled with intriguing twist of event that will keep you turning the pages and leaves you wanting more.
While this story was graciously provided via ARC I have pre-ordered my copy of the Anthology and will be providing a full review on each story.

Savannah's Desire - Danielle Jamie.
It happened, it finally happened!! Danielle Jamie gave us more Knox, more Savannah, more kinky fuckery and more southern sausage. Yay!
This sweet, sexy, fast paced read set me alight from the very first page and deliciously built the heat within my core. Danielle is an absolute tease, especially with where she left things but once again she never fails to reignite the love not only for her writing but her characters! And now I can't wait for more of this hot and spicy novella!

So far I have only read Savannahs Desire by Danielle Jamie in this anthology.
Absolutely loved getting a peek into Savannah and Kayden life after babies. A stressed and a bit sexually deprived Savannah gets every woman's dream Valentines day get away. Oh boy even after twins these 2 still heat up your Kindle!!

DIRTY-KIMBERLY BLALOCK (4stars)
Liam owns the club where Olivia works. He is in love with Her, and is waiting for the right time. Olivia has an alta ego that is dark and dangerous... But will love be enough for their HEA? A deep story yet the characters were perfect, i loved the twist in the plot and the sex was hot!!!
REPENTANCE-CASSIA BRIGHTMORE (5stars)
Sam is released from prison after a 7 year stretch. He moves to a different town still nursing a broken heart over the death if his wife Hailey. Opening a new business he needs help in the office, Emma comes along and knocks him sideways. This story has one hell of a mind blowing ending that will leave you gob smacked! Cassia really does write one hell of a story and again it is fantastic!!!
INSURMOUNTABLE-SKYE CALLAHAN (5stars)
Miles only knows his life as right hand man to his boss Ross. They deal in all things illegal especially women. When the new girls arrive, he spots Alley and for once in his life, he wants to feel. Alley is confused with her feelings towards Miles as she has been a sex slave for many years and yet he's protecting and looking after her. How can two broken people be together? A wonderful short story with alot of darkness in the background, but i totally loved it!!!
THE MATCHMAKER-HEATHER DAHLGREN (5stars)
Davis left Seattle to help his sister and her kids after her divorce, he basically left everything behind. His sister wants to thank him by finding him a date. She approches Amanda who owns the matchmaking service. Eventually Amanda agrees to help and she goes on a date with Davis! I loved this story it was so sweet and yet with the buzz between them so clear, and the sex was off the charts, it came together and made the perfect story!!!
HEART IN LA-ELLA EMERSON (5stars)
Jessica is Valentina, she is a world known author and is on her way to a convention for authors and cover models. She meets Carter at the airport bar and they share a few drinks. Carter is a cover model and is looking to meet Valentina for work on her next book. With the twists and the wonderful story, this book was brilliant! A light happy read with a really perfect... Everything!!!
SAVANNAH'S DESIRE-DANIELLE JAMIE (4stars)
Savannah and Kayden have been married for a few years and they have twin toddlers. It's Savannah's birthday and following a family/friend dinner, Kayden presents his present... A 3 day trip to Aspen, just the two of them. The sex is hot as hell and you can feel the love literally glowing between the two of them. It is a wonderful short story that i really enjoyed!!!
LOST IN SHADOWS-COURTNEY SHOCKLEY (5stars)
Jasmine and Malcom have been together since they attending school. Malcom is a doctor and is doing charity work abroad. A fatal disater happens and this story takes one hell of a twist and is heartbraking! I would ensure that you have a box of tissues handy for when you read this beautiful but heart wrenching story!!!

Raven and Pierce are trying to buy the same piece of art which causes problems at the auction house. They end up spending the weekend together until they can get things sorted. The story flow was great and the characters were perfect but i found a huge let down with the sex scenes, they seemed to fall flat, i mean flat as a sheet of paper! For a nice light story its great but not if you like it hot in the bedroom!!!
All in all i totally loved this whole book! I did enjoy that it was a light read, based around St. Valentines Day. The couples in each book were perfect for each other and the love flowed through the pages perfectly!!!

What an amazing set of reads!! A lovely mix of Authors! I was gifted an ARC and delved straight in! My favourite has to be Repentance By Cassia Brightmore though, she is one talented twisted lady! A heart wrenching, thought provoking finale to an amazing series. Excellently written as always by Cassia, with just the right amount of suspense, romance and naughty stuff! A few kickers in there that leave you wanting another book in this awesome series! I can't wait for more from Cassia!
The entire anthology is a good selection and variety of writing styles & content from stalkers to matchmakers and slaves. Some more suited to my reading choices than others, I personally prefer darker romances with murders thrown in here and there, mushy isn't really my style but overall,I will be recommending to everyone :)

What an amazing combination of stories and authors!!! If you want suspense and angst, then this is the anthology for you!! But a fair warning- you will beg for more with each story. Every story kept me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages. I have only read books by one of these authors before but I promise I will be reading all them from now on.

Read Danielle Jamie's Savannah Desire: A Savannah Series. Such a good book. Will leave you wanting more of Savannah and Knox. Danielle leaves you wanting more.

He is ready to help her when her personal life takes a dive.
Olivia has serious issues and she is unaware of the half of them. Liam discovers he can be closer to Olivia when she has issues with her boyfriend and he will not take no for an answer.

A serial killer on the loose targeting young women with blue eyes. Sam, just released from prison, purchases an existing shop and hires Emma as an office assistant. Sam is still mourning the murder of his wife and the dark path he took to avenge her murder. Emma is trying to prove to her uncle she is responsible and can open her own business and must hold her job with Sam for six months to prove this.
An interesting read. There is an attraction between Sam and Emma but Sam will not let go of his darkness and does not believe he can love again. The serial killer is still on the loose...

Miles is in a top security position in the ranks of a sex slave business owned by Ross. He has his own demons with the business and knows to never get involved with any of the slaves. He is quiet and tortured, until Alley arrives. She reminds him of hope, of his mother, and takes her as his personal slave. Ross will not be happy with this permanent change Miles desires. Alley was sold into slavery when she was 16 and sees one way out of this nightmare, death.
A very different place to find someone to care for but Miles and Alley are kindred souls battling the torture if their past and present circumstances. The ending left me wanting to know more about the situation with Ross and Gabe.

Amanda is the best at her business, making love matches for other people. She is too good and has let her own relationships falter and not taken time for herself. Her newest client, Susan, convinces Amanda to help set her brother up with someone. Amanda's clients want a forever match no one will agree to meet Davis for one night on Valentine's Day. Amanda finds a solution and may lose her heart in the process.
A cute story with an immediate attraction between two people who are not looking for love. Lies are between them though and may destroy their fragile relationship.

Jessica is an up and coming romance novelist traveling to a convention in L.A. She is still nervous and not very confident in her skills or success. She meets a cover model, Carter, traveling to the same convention.
Sparks fly between Carter and Jessica but so do the misunderstandings and miscommunications. Both want more but Jessica is unwilling to move away from her past.

Raven is stuck over the weekend in Florence because an auction house messed up a purchase between her business and a buyer, Pierce. She has only the clothing on her back and Pierce suggests they check in to a hotel together. The hotel only has one room available. Pierce manages to convince Raven to relax for the weekend and experience Florence with him. Sparks fly between them and Pierce admits he is more of a one night kinda guy, but this between them is something new for him. He then disappears.
Raven never felt a connect like that with anyone before and tries to live more when she returns home. Too bad she is missing Pierce badly and the new boyfriend hates what she does and cannot even pretend interest in her life.

Raven is stuck over the weekend in Florence because an auction house messed up a purchase between her business and a buyer, Pierce. She has only the clothing on her back and Pierce suggests they check in to a hotel together. The hotel only has one room available. Pierce manages to convince Raven to relax for the weekend and experience Florence with him. Sparks fly between them and Pierce admits he is more of a one night kinda guy, but this between them is something new for him. He then disappears.
Raven never felt a connect like that with anyone before and tries to live more when she returns home. Too bad she is missing Pierce badly and the new boyfriend hates what she does and cannot even pretend interest in her life.

With that being said they were well written and each author offers a totally different type of story. They could use more proofing but aside from that they were good stories.

This is a short but sexy as all get out about a young woman named Olivia who works as a stripper at a club where unbeknown to her the boss man is her neighbor and he watches her every move. Adam is her lawyer but douche boyfriend who basically leaves her alone more often than not. One night some friends of hers at the club talk her into going out and who do they run into? yep you guessed it the Boss Man himself. Sparks fly for these two.
Repentance by Cassia Brightmore
This was a good story although at first I wasn't quite sure what was going on. But we get mystery, suspense, and a dark and twisted story.
Insurmountable by Skye Callahan
This book takes us into the world of female trafficking, abuse, and savoirs or is he? Female sex slaves, dinner parties, and the rich men who enjoy them. Twisted..But one hell of a read. I truly enjoyed this story.
Was very well written although could have used some proofing in spots.

Anthologies usually scare me because they are so big and I don't know how to tackle them. I debated with this one, do I read it from front to back or just skip around and read the stories from the authors I have read before. I decide just to jump in and start from page one. I loved every story in this anthology and even found some new to me authors to check out.
Dirty by Kimberly Blalock is the first story. I loved this one. It's told in the dual POVs of Liam and Olivia. There is a twist that had me going omg. This one left me wanting more of Liam and Olivia's story and there's promise of more to come in a full length novel, yay!
Repentance was up next. I haven't read anything by Cassia Brightmoer before but after reading Repentance, I went over to herr Goodreads page to check out her other books.
Insurmountable Skye Callahan was another great read. It has a master slave theme. Miles is the master and Alley is a slave. I know the whole master slave story isn't always nice but I found this one sweet.
The Matchmaker by Heather Dahlgren, was one of my favorites. When reading this anthology even if you skip around, make sure you check this one out.
Hearts in L.A. by Ella Emerson was the whole reason I wanted to read this anthology. I definitely was not disappointed. I loved Hearts in L.A.
Savannah's Desire was the sweet one int he anthology. Savannah and Kayden have a great relationship. I haven't read the Savannah Series but I'm pretty sure Savannah and Kayden's relationship wasn't always so great and I'm going to check the series out soon.
Lost in Shadows was one the left me speechless. It's a great read. It's also a heart string puller. I don't usually reread stories but I could see myself rereading this one.
The last story is Hearts in Florence. Raven was expceting to go to Florence to pick up artwork and return to New York. She's not expecting to spend the weekend but that's what happens. She has to share a hotel room with Pierce. Pierce is sexy and confident. That's the perfect set up for a funfilled steamy weekend. This one is last in the book but make sure you check it out.

This anthology was wonderful with many great authors. Here are my favorites from the book.
Skye Callahan (Insurmountable)
I enjoyed this story. It took me right back into the world of Irrevocable and gave a glimpse of Alley and Miles' relationship. I liked the two of them in Irrevocable and was happy to find out more about them in this story. I didn't want it to end! Loved it.
Kimberly Blalock (Dirty)
This story was great! I loved the mystery, I had no idea what was happening and the ending was kind of a plot twist and a cliffhanger. Now I really want to read the full length novel that the end of the story said is coming soon. I'll have to keep up to date with Kimberly's newsletter until the book is released.
Courtney Shockey (Lost in Shadows)
This was a nice story about love. After the first chapter I was really confused and it wasn't until the end of the story that I understood why. I cried it was so sad and sweet at the same time. Love the message of the story, that true love never dies.
Cassia Brightmore (Repentance)
This was another twisty story. The first chapter confused the hell out of me and I wondered who this psycho killer was then the story does a 180 and it feels like a different story is being told. The killer shows up every once and a while during the story until his identity is revealed. It was interesting to read about the two main characters while trying to figure out what the killers motives were then the ending solves everything. Cool story.

This was a nice story about a young married couple rekindling their relationship on Valentine's Day.
Heather Dahlgren (The Match-Maker)
This was the story about a matchmaker who ends up setting herself up for a blind date at the last minute because she couldn't find someone for her client on such short notice. Things turn out for the better but lies may break up the couple that found love in an unlikely way.

Repentance is the final book in Cassia Brightmore's Darkness Series. It's also included in the Hearts and Daggers Anthology. If you've not read any books in her Darkness series your really missing out and should read them They will blow your mind.
Sam Ridley is a former Deputy Sheriff who suffered a devastating loss. With his need for revenge came a slip into the dark side and a ten year prison sentence. Now out on an early parole he's looking for redemption. Not wanting to subject himself to the thoughts and judgement of got her in the town he use to live in, Sam moves to Tennessee to start his new life.
Emma Danvers lost her parents at a very young age and has a huge dream A dream she's determined to make come true. If only her Uncle, who controls the family fortune, would trust her she could make her dream come true. After a ultimatum, Emma reluctantly agrees to go for a job interview. Heading straight to Sam's door.
As with any Cassia Brightmore book, you better buckle up and hold on because you know your in for a wild ride. Repentance does not disappoint!! She has this way of drawing you into a story and not letting you go to the very end, the landing is usually bumpy but so worth it. I love dark and gritty with a side of love and lust if that sounds like your kind of read then grab this story and enjoy I have always had a soft spot in my heart since reading Malevolent for Sam I was excited to see where he was going to go and what was going to happen.
Remember Cassia is the queen of all this Darkness kingdom and she spares you none of the freak outs she knows she's going to cause. Read with caution because she's fearless in her writing and subject matter. Bring on Lincoln Hospital!! I'm beyond ready for the new series. I can't wait to see how hard Cassia blows my mind.

Wow! I need the full length novel now...very cleverly written, it had me sucked in and I am left craving to find out why, how, WTF!?!? Having never read anything by this author before I have now added to my ever growing TBR. An excellent dark and twisty read.

Honestly..I actually signed up to this anthology as I loved this author's previous work and will read anything by her knowing I'm guaranteed a dark and twisty read ...my favourite type of read! Repentance ticks ever one of my boxes and totally works as a stand alone novella but as a repeat reader I loved catching up with characters from the previous novels. Filled with a twisted sense of love and lots of dead bodies, I was not disappointed ;)

What an amazing anthology! These are some of the best novellas I have ever read. I must say my favorite is by Heather Dahlgren. I am an avid follower of her work, she knows how to write a good book! Passion, heartache, and holy hotness sex! Matchmaker is a not to be missed novella, if you are going to pick one to start with that would be the one to pick! Amanda and Davis are great together and I rooted for them from the beginning. I love how the storyline focuses on a matchmaker who finds love this time for herself! Ella Emerson is another great author, those who have ever read any of her other stuff will not be disappointed and new readers to her will fall in love. The rest of the authors that make up this anthology are great, Danielle Jamie is a bestseller and I’ve loved her other books! All of the other authors were new to me but they wrote novellas that were equally as good. The proceeds of this anthology are being donated to charity so you can’t go wrong with buying it, you’re winning in two ways because you are getting some great stories and donating to charity at the same time.

This is a collection of stories that will have you hooked from the very first one! I am only familiar with two authors in this anthology but I was excited to read those that I haven't encountered before.

This certainly has a great title and Liv certainly lives up to that! She is good girl but is forced to become a dancer to help make ends meet. This one has a twist that left me going OMG! And I will definitely be checking out the full length novel of Liam and Liv when it comes out"

A collection for short dark(ish) reads from some of the most prolific and talented author in the genre, this was the perfect read to keep me company of a wild and windy afternoon.
So what do you get? You get a whole heap of fantastic stories and while they are all superb, I will pick out my favourite below.
Dirty by Kimberly Blalock – well this little beauty hit me right in the solar plexus straight off the bat and it didn’t let up from start to finish, it was just phenomenal. Really ladies, you have got to get your hands on Mr Black.
Repentance by Cassia Brightmore – I can say nothing other than the fact that this book is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

The Matchmaker by Heather Dahlgren- heck, I’m lost! This is a new author to me but damn woman, I can’t wait to get my hand on more of your work! This is a super story, fabulously written…blew me away!

Dirty by Kimberly Blalock – well this little beauty hit me right in the solar plexus straight off the bat and it didn’t let up from start to finish, it was just phenomenal. Really ladies, you have got to get your hands on Mr Black.
Repentance by Cassia Brightmore – I can say nothing other than the fact that this book is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

What an absolute incredible collaboration of stories! This is definitely not your usual fluff and stuff Valentine collection. I was anticipating the typical anthology set up of boy meets girl, ignore & argue, hot, steamy pages and then over.....this does not happen! Yes, there are amazing steamy scenes and intense conversations, HOWEVER, each story has a uniqueness. Without using spoilers I can honestly say that each contributing author has written something remarkable. Some write within their usual genre and others branch into a different one from their "norm".
I was given this arc in exchange for an honest review and as you can see, I was presently surprised. How often do you start a collection and finish it at one time?

With this anthology, Hearts and Daggers is the perfect title. That is exactly what you get. You get romance, you get dark, you get passion. Some of them you have to put down and take a break from reading, because they have your heart going so fast. I could not put this book down. I was not familiar with all the authors, but after this anthology I am definitely going to be searching out more by them. It was a great set of stories, that I never saw coming.

Looking Deeper:
I'd like to begin by stating that all of these authors are new-to-me except Ms. Brightmore and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer. My review for each novella will be condensed due to the Anthology format, but I hope to offer enough to other potential readers to get a feel for each one. That said... here we go:
* * DIRTY - Kimberly Blalock * *
He owns a strip club, she works for him. She (unknowingly) lives within his line of sight, he's obsessed and likes to watch her. There are some dark and twisted elements in this plot.
The lead characters are interestingly complex and intense. I'd call this more of a prequel novella and although it has an HEA of sorts, it's only the opening act to a full-length novel to come.

This novella is a side story of one of the characters from Ms. Brightmore's DARKNESS series; can stand alone but would be best read after the Darkness trilogy.
It's been nine years since the death of his wife and now Sam's starting over in a new town as a carpenter. Emma's sent to secure and keep a job as Sam's secretary / office manager for six months, then she can have the money needed to start her own business. Add in a deranged killer, a sort-of HEA, and a blast from the past. Ends in a cliffhanger.

He's the Head of Security for a Skin Trade boss. She's a new arrival. After a bad first night, he decides he want to make her his... to protect, care for, love. But pitting yourself against the depravity of your boss and the rest of the staff is not as simple.
The lead characters are actually quite compelling and I'm not sure where the story will go from here, but I'm assuming that with the introduction of a new character at the end, that it'll continue in some way & I'd be interested in reading more.

Likeable leads, although I'm not sure why her occupation needed to be so darn hush-hush that whole time... The plot is sweet, but one they meet, it seemed a bit more one-dimensional (all about the sex). In the end, conflicts are resolved and a HEA is obtained.

He's a paramedic, aspiring to be a cover model and she's an overnight sensation in the Indie Author world. They meet during a layover in Tennessee on their way to L.A. and neither expect their destinations to be the same.
He sort of comes off as a big, dumb jock on the plane and ride to the hotel. She can act a bit childish and unstable. Things get better once the weekend is underway. Plot is okay & the story has satisfying ending.

* * SAVANNAH'S DESIRE - Danielle Jamie * *
Savannah and Kayden have been married for a few years now and have a set of twin boys. Her birthday present from him is a weekend getaway over Valentine's weekend.
The story reads more like an extended Epilogue or Bonus Scene than the others' Prequels. I've got the distinct impression that I've missed a book or two in the series before this. The couple are over-the-top mushy-romantic. Beginning is long gone, plot is but a glimpse in time. Ending is not solid, but they're married already, so no need, I guess.

Jasmine owns a cupcake shop / bakery. Malcom is a MD, doing good deeds in less developed regions overseas. They are engaged. A phone call Friday night leads to an ethereal Valentine's weekend.
Characters were good. Plot was sweet / bittersweet; predictable. Conclusion was not favorable.

A NY gallery owner goes to Florence, Italy to pick up a piece only to discover there's a dispute of ownership and sale. What should have been a quick turn-around becomes Valentine's weekend in one of the most romantic cities in the world. With no luggage, only one room available, and not knowing the luggage, she's forced to spend the weekend and share the last hotel room with the man fighting over her painting.
Intriguing male. Good female. Strong plot. A little predictable, but in a good way. Acceptable ending.

Since Ally was 16 yrs old she has been a sex slave. Being moved from place to place. But, it's all the same thing. She must do what she's told. Now, she's in a new place but it's not the same as all the others.
Miles lost his mother when he was ten. She couldn't handle it so she took her own life. Miles learned everything he could. He could've ended up as a slave himself. But, instead he's high up in the organization. His boss never lets him forget his place. When the new set of girls come in. He sees something in Ally's eyes that remind him of his mom. When one of the clients attacks her he makes it his mission to protect her. His Little Dove.
Miles will do anything to keep her safe. He makes Ally into his personal slave. Except when they're alone he doesn't treat her as his slave only in public with eyes on them. Ally knows not to trust Miles and to be prepared that everything could be taken away in the blink of an eye. But, Miles is proving that that isn't the case.
Miles and Ally start feeling things for each other that they've never felt before. They can talk to each other about everything. But, it's never easy. Mile's boss can call for Ally anytime he wants or desires. It's always in both their minds. I really hope Ally and Miles get a full length story. Bc, I'm not wanting to say goodbye to them.

I met Sam Ridley in Cassia Brightmore's first book Malevolent in her Darkness series. He lost his wife the love of his life. He was able to get his revenge and take out that evil nasty bitch. Sam gave into his dark side. And, it cost him a lot. His best friend, his job, his life and almost his humanity. Now, he's getting out of jail early. Sam is not happy about this.
Sam decides to leave his hometown and move away to Tennessee and open a carpentry business. He's kind of the talk of the town. Not many people have even seen him. But, his work has proven great and his clientele is growing.
Emma Danvers wants to open her own business. But, her uncle is making it difficult for her to get what's her from her parents death. He's making her get a job and keep it for 6 months before she can get her hands of the money. Emma was livid until she saw Sam and his body. Then, she figures if she can look at him all day how bad can it be.
These 2 get into a routine. They hardly speak except business related. But, they can sense each others eyes on them all the time. Sam can hear his old best friend Brady in his head telling him it's OK to move on and fall in love. He deserves it.
Before these 2 can figure out anything out something or rather someone gets in the way. Somebody has been kidnapping, drugging and killing women in the town. Then, then there's a knock on Sam's door and it's a evil cruel sadistic bastard standing in the doorway.
This is Cassia's forth book. And, it's the fourth time I finished my book and my jaw dropped, a lot of nasty words came out of my mouth and my kindle went flying. No, I'm not kidding!! Cassia may be beautiful and a sweetheart BUT her mind is one evil nasty scary thing. I'm kinda glad she lives so far away Bc I'd hate for her to get mad at me. I'd be scared for my life. I loved this and can't wait to see what happens in Lincoln Hospital .

Then one night Olivia's life changed. She walks in on her boyfriend screwing someone else. She throws them out. Next thing she knows Liam is showing up at her place minutes before the cops show up.
Olivia feels safe with Liam. Liam is promising to take care of her and make sure he'll handle everything. Liam is keeping a huge secret from Olivia. I mean HUGE. I didn't even see it.This novella ended with some f*cked up heart stopping ending. This is my first read from Kimberly Blalock. But, I will be stalking her for the continuation of Olivia/Liam/Tess.
