Hannah De Luca Andersen has been battered by the worst year ever, but even that can’t squash her love of the holiday season. She has one night to forget life’s hardships and enjoy the magic of an elegant Christmas gala. If she’s really lucky, maybe a handsome prince will ask her to dance.
Gregor Klaus, Director of Finance for Klaus Enterprises, has completely lost his Christmas spirit. One look at Hannah thaws his icy demeanor and gives him a new sense of purpose. If he can only figure out the key to Hannah’s heart, he might have the best Christmas of his life.
But one night isn’t enough for Gregor Klaus. He won’t be satisfied with anything less than forever.
Sweet Cinderella is a 28,000-word holiday novella, part four of the Klaus Brothers Series. It takes place at the same time as Sweet Adventure.

Sweet Cinderella is book four in the Klaus Brothers series by Penny Watson. The time frame of this book runs along the exact time as Sweet Adventure. In this book you will get to know Gregor Alric Klaus, the fourth son of Nicholas and Alena Klaus, aka Santa and Mrs. Claus, and he is the Director of Finance for Klaus Enterprises. You will also get to know Hannah De Luca Anderson and her adorable two five year old twin sons, Anthony and Matteo. Hannah is Andrea’s sister whom you met in Sweet Adventure.
Greg lives almost all of the time in Manhattan running the financial end of Klaus Enterprises where as his brothers spend most of their time in Glasdorf. So Greg has been cut off from the magic of the North Pole. He spends every waking minute making their corporation profitable. So it’s no surprise that he has lost the Christmas spirit. For some time now, he has been feeling numb. Until the night of the gala when he first laid eyes on the woman in green, Hannah.
Hannah is a widow with two five year old twin boys. When her sister asked her to attend the high society gala with her, she thought it would be just one night to be Cinderella. That she would sip eggnog and maybe even dance with a handsome prince. Little did she know that she would be swept off her beautiful green satin pumps, literally, by the most handsome man she has ever seen. And that one night would never be enough.
When Hannah panicked and ran away from the gala after one scorching kiss, all Greg had was one green satin shoe, no last name, nothing. He had to figure out who she is and find her. He needs to see her again. So he enlists the aid of one very precocious elf who has a very surprising tie to Hannah.
Greg begins a campaign to win over Hannah’s heart, doing all the things she and her boys love to do. And slowly, Greg’s heart thaws and the beautiful spirit of Christmas seeps back in. But Hannah remains steadfast in her belief that her life style and Gregor’s can never mix. How can Greg ever convince her that they fit together perfectly and that she is it for him? And more importantly, how will Hannah react when she finds out who Greg’s family really is and where they live?
This was a perfect addition to this series. Throughout the books we get such a picture of Greg and how he is so I loved watching him melt and fall in love. Hannah was perfect for him and her boys were adorable. Now starts the long wait for the final book in this series, Sweet Destiny, which will be Wolfgang’s story. Poor Wolfgang. He has watched his brothers fall in love one at a time and he is so lonely. Will he ever find his perfect match? Or will he be alone forever? And who will finally be the one to fill Santa’s shoes when he retires? Could it be Greg? I can’t wait to find out!
What if the legend of Santa Claus is in fact, true? What if Santa has five big strapping sons who help him run his empire? Five single, sexy sons looking for romance...
We already have had Nicolas Klaus's book Oskar Klaus's book Sven Klaus's book
and now it is Gregor's turn
Gregor's turned into the ice man he has lost his Christmas spirit and is until the night of the gala where Sven and Andi meet and where Andi's sister Hannah gets to experience some magic in her life.
Hannah has had a tough life, with her childhood, her husband passing away she wants one night of being Cinderella who better than with Gregor Klaus. Until reality kicks in and she leaves a forest green pump shoe.
Gregor pulls out all the stops and I loved how he developed. I loved Shirley the elf and the relationship she had with Hannah.
One of my favorite storylines in the series however this was only novella length, a pity. The HEA ending was okay, but abrupt. What happened to the rest of the DeLuca family? Do they all move to the North Pole or stay in Hells Kitchen? Where is the Festivus for the rest of us? I object!🤣 Still highly entertaining. 🎄❄️☃️🎅
A sweet story about Gregor, one of the 5 Klaus brothers, finding his HEA. He meets Hannah at a charity event and instantly knows he wants to marry her. Hannah has been through a lot, she is a single mother to 5 year old twin boys, her spouse recently died, and she helps her disabled parents and brother. Nice story about two opposites who attract and realize they compliment each other very well. The twins open Gregor's eyes and teach him how to have fun. Hannah doesn't freak out over the family secret and integrates into the family perfectly.
This is a lovely, light piece of Christmas fluff ... rather obvious, but a fun twist on Santa's family. I could live without the graphic sex scene ... the lovely romance was enough.
Sweet Cinderella is the must anticipated next installment in the Klaus Brothers series. And yes, just like the name implies, the Klaus brothers are part of THAT Klaus family. All of the Klaus brothers stories have a touch of the paranormal - a secret city near the North Pole, magik, and elves all make this romance story a delight to read. Gregor is a wonderful character - the member of the Klaus family who doesn't like Christmas. And Hannah is the perfect match for him - a delightful woman who holds the spirit of Christmas in her heart despite her life challenges. And she's just the type of believe in the magik of Christmas and the Klaus brothers, because of a visit from a magical elf when she was just a child.
The author also gives us a quick check-in with the other brothers we have already grown to love, as well as a quick visit to the magical village at the North Pole. It's shorter than the previous books in the Klaus brothers series - this one is a novella - but a wonderful way to stay in touch with the series. And it made me want to go back and read the previous books again, just the remember the magik!
This one was really enjoyable! It wove the magic of Christmas with the magic of the fairy tale of Cinderella, for a great story! It overlapped Sweet Adventure somewhat, but not enough to detract from this story. I liked what Hannah did for Gregor, and her boys were just adorable! I loved seeing the changes that both of them brought to each other and how they both reawakened under the spirit of the season and of love. A great read for the Christmas season!
This was a cute story... I liked how Hannah sort of made Gregor loosen up. And she helped him find the Christmas spirit he'd been missing for so long, though she didn't realize she was doing either of these things. And while I enjoyed the story, it was on the shorter side (I guess it's a novella), so there wasn't a lot of time for a lot to happen. Still, it was entertaining.
Just one night. Heather's Notes I really like these stories, but I feel like Hannah was a bit too much in denial. I mean she really needed to give it up and accept that Gregor wanted her. It got a bit ridiculous, probably will be my least favorite, but still I am enjoying the series.
The Klaus Brothers series by Penny Watson is a complete joy to read. Filled with steamy romance, generous doses of magic and touches of adventure, the series is sure to delight everyone at any time of the year, Christmas season or not. Immerse yourself in the Klaus family, you won't be sorry you did.
I'm a Christmas freak and I like the fun warm and fuzzies this series gives me. I have to say though I bought without looking...not out of the ordinary for me when I'm into a series. The draw back was that it was just a lil' novella. It's a little something authors like to do to drive series freaks like me crazy, because yes...it is all about me.
I'm not going to give you the lowdown on what this book is about. I don't have a book blog and lets face it...that's what book jackets are for.
This all being said I adored crabby ol' director of finance, Gregor Klaus with his growly voice, designer suits and stern attitude. I so enjoy watching men cut from this cloth melt a little and re-form into a hugable alpha teddy bear for the ones they love no matter who they are.
My big con for this story was our Cinderella otherwise known as Hannah. Don't get me wrong, for the most part I genuinely like her. She's sweet, widowed thereby making her a single mom of 2 rambunctious but lovable twin boys. I get that their hearts have been broken with the loss of a husband/father and that she's trying to be protective of herself and her boys against more loss. I get that the idea of the I should-I shouldn't tug of war for storyline sake. BUT DOES SHE HAVE TO GET WEEPY and/or CRY IN EVERY CHAPTER??? Grrrrr!!!
If you can get past that last part, this is a fun little read and will keep you in the loop with the ever growing and lovable Klaus family. Time to check out Wolf next!
I love Christmas books, and this one fit the bill! This story was sweet and romantic, just what I need at this time of year. Cold-as-ice Gregor finally thaws during his interactions with Hannah and her kids. I love watching a big, sexy hero build a nice relationship with the heroine's children. *swoon*
I liked all the Christmas activities the characters enjoyed together. It made me feel like I was in New York at Christmas. The magical elements were fun, too. I liked reading about characters from previous books. Looking forward to the next and final book in this series.
I like the series, but I was a bit disappointed in this one. .
Gregor hasn't been feeling the Christmas spirit for years as he works the financial side of the business and doesn't spend much time at the North Pole. Then he has love at first sight when he sees Hannah at a ball. But Hannah doesn't think their very different lives can mesh. But Gregor is determined and with the help of a rule-breaking elf he will do whatever is needed.
This was a cute little Christmas romance that I cried throughout. I blame pregnancy hormones. I just couldn’t handle a widow with twin boys being swept off her feet by a burly, rich man that fell in love at first sight. I hardly remember the other books in the series, but it didn’t matter. The other characters were there but you didn’t need to have read the others to understand what was going on. I’d still recommend reading in order, though, because there were nods you wouldn’t have picked up on. Cute book and series. 4/5
So cute! Such a feel good, sweet, romantic and sexy read. I think this is my second favorite of the series (the favorite is the very first book, but they're all really cute.) And I say this as a person who does NOT really enjoy the whole Holiday Romance genre as a whole.
I really really liked Hannah, with her wide-eyed optimism and sweet nature, and of course, I loved bearded fancy-pants bossy-britches Gregor, and I canNOT wait for the last installment of the series.
Klause men are sexy and fall in love fast after meeting their true loves. I love the buff Santa, his pixie like wife and their five Amazon sons. This series takes you on a delightful romp through everyone's favorite fantasy. Exceptionally well done.
I didn't think the stories could get better...after each brother's story I think he will be the next Santa. I can't decide who I like the most. I really loved this story...I saved it to read closer to Christmas. It is truly magic !
Been waiting for this book! I'm a sucker for Cinderella novels and this one hits true to home. Hats off to you Ms Watson for putting into words the real meaning of the holidays. A fantastic sweet read this holiday season that will give you warm feelings in the right places. ;)
Another Klaus story down and boy am I dying to read book 5! I want to know about Wolfie!!! I'm so in love with this family and I cannot wait to finish this series, though I will be sad to see it end. Thank you Penny Watson for this great series!!
It wouldn't be Christmas without a Klaus Brothers book. I've been known to email Penny and ask when the new one will be out. Every year, I spend December reading silly Christmas love stories and Penny's are my favorites.
Amazing and could not put it down. Now waiting on the last Klaus brother Wolfgang. His story is going to make me cry harder than the others. Thank you for such wonderful stories.
