But no one believed her side of the story, so they locked her up, and she has this instalove with Rourk, the head doctor there. It's very taboo between them since Karmen was the one going after him until she thought he sold her out and pulled away for a moment.
Only to have Rourk be a little mad that she was pulling away. Then, the relationship got heated between the 2. There is drama with the guy who wanted her and her mother, who sold her out. So it was pretty entertaining.

(DNF) I'm not impressed. I'm pretty sure someone said that Alexa Riley was back, or at least close to what they used to produce. I'm not feeling it. It probably has to do with the heroine calling the Hero "Daddy" out of nowhere in Ch. 2, and the fact that we're just thrown into their interaction like we're supposed to know what their dynamic is already.

Es un libro muy sin más. La trama parecía interesante pero la tensión se rompe muy rápido. La relación crece rápidamente pero me parece todo como que pasa demasiado rápido y queda forzado e irreal. No he conectado con los personajes y solo me lo he terminado porque era corto.

Okay, this was fun, and they were both crazy! 🤣
Karmen got sent to an asylum after stabbing her teacher with a pencil. And this is where she met Dr. Rourke. I think she's been staying for days in the asylum, so there's no introduction between them at the present time. It just jumped to the scene where she's flirting with him, ignoring the fact he's her doctor. 🤭
It was fun in the beginning because she's shameless with her seduction game and Dr. Rourke is slowly losing his mind over her. But his resistance didn't last long, and he eventually gave in and became her daddy. 🤭
Anyway, they found out that her mother and her teacher were in cahoots. Her teacher was obsessed with her and tried to SA her, but she got away by stabbing him. Her mother, on the other hand, didn't want to do anything with her anymore since she's already 18 and only interested in her trust. So these two awful people agreed to work together, but their plans got busted.
Anyway, the first half was unhinged and had me laughing with their antics. The second half then became suspenseful. But I'm glad things work out for the best.

This book gets 4 stars because FMC was a virgin but nothing was mentioned about MMC. When I say nothing, I mean nothing was mentioned about his past relationship or if he was a virgin or not. So I am assuming he was not. Also nothing about is age was mentioned either. What was the age gap? I don't know. But she kept calling him daddy.
The thing I loved the most about this book was the FMC. She was young but I liked her character. Very sexy.
This book reminds me of the books that Alexa Riley used to write with Jessa Kane. So does the previous book in the series, "The Bad Man" .
Side note: what happened to Jessa Kane, man? I have been looking for her but can't find anything about her. Is she on break, or has she stopped writing? Can't even find her on any socials.

I loved this novella!!!! This entire duet was over the top, spicy, goodness!!! I am here for how Alexa Riley created this world and stories, and I just couldn’t get enough! This novella was a bit dark, it broke some rules, pushed some boundaries, and it was hot AF! I loved everything about this story, and honestly I’m just sad it’s over. This entire duet was fantastic and I can’t wait for more from this writing duo!

llegué aquí por tiktok y fue la peor decisión, puro cringe y trama mal desarrollada, igual rescato un montón que hay más contexto que en el anterior so se ganó la estrella.

Fue fácil de leer, los libros de Alexa sirven demasiado cuando quieres leer algo ligero y algo que no te haga pensar. Sus libros son de muy pocas páginas, pero son buenos para pasar el rato.
No esperen encontrar una trama bien desarrollada porque es muy corto el libro y ya en el segundo capítulo pasan varias cosas jajajaj.

a diferencia del primero, este no me gusto tanto, la tematica de niña buena fue medio meh, perdida de memoria muy random , mommy issues tambien sin desarrollar, esperaba aunque sea reirme como en el primer libro, pero karen y el dotor Rourk no me atraparon por completo, tambien tiene un final abrupto con un poco mas de sentido que el primero pero no logre conetar.
