This was another enjoyable read by Haidji which was a pleasure to receive. The story follows two young souls who discover joy, heartbreak and much more. The book is written in a poetic style with deep meanings attached to every sentence which can be interpreted in many different ways.

For this book, I was on the fence about the poetic writing. In one way, I enjoyed the writing style and structure as it let you conjure your own meanings and thoughts on what lines meant. However, at times I did find it annoying or just too much. Nevertheless, the writing does paint a fantastic picture inside your head which was my favourite part of the book.

Life Into Mist is an easy and short read with some terrific lines despite its length and a story full of many inviting elements. Thank you to the author for sending me this novel, I enjoyed reading it but I did prefer Fancy & Adriaan.

What a delightful read!

A story that touches the heart so effortlessly.

Life Into Meets sketches a journey of two young souls who are to discover love, joy, pain and heartbreak.

Poetic and Personified, Haidji's work is enthralling and captivating. Her words flow through your heart and soul without any hindrance. Short and sweet are the two words to define this book. Insightful and distinct. I adored every single line in it. Quick and easy read. This is a piece of art everyone should go through. Beautifully written.

I recommend it highly if you haven't read Haidji's books.

Life is a Mystery!

Very reflective, making you ponder some serious issues like the meaning of life, our existence, afterlife, the time before birth etc.
Enjoyable prose in the form of creative poetry. Imaginative, challenging, deep and provocative.
Philosophy is represented quite vividly and accessibly.
The notion of mist is omnipresent. Life might be misty, or mist could bear life, whose meaning is also misty. Maybe that's the hidden message.
Well, life is a mystery overall.
Recommended to artistic and intelligent people.

I liked this book, it had that unique Haidji thing where i feel as f it's up to me to decide what the story is telling, what the real meaning behind her words is, and as always she delivers strong messages hidden in lines like poetry.
but the reason for the bad rating is that i felt a repetitive idea, the 'coming from a different universe and being different beings into our human world' which was in both: Harables with the stars story and in fancy and addrian, and that really bugged me since most of her stories are original and have their own flavor.

Apstrakcija o dušama, životu, ljubavi i prolaznosti svega...

Haidji has a unique writing style which will be appreciated and loved by artists and free-thinkers.

She writes in a poetic style of dreams, wishes, flowers, thoughts and emotion. Her imagination is like no other author I have read and find it a breath of fresh air and so relaxing. What is the story about? Well, all is open to interpretation and I'm sure that no two people will get the same out of it. I think, or at least for me, it is loosely about two souls who have been together forever but forget and remember all at the same time. There is a beautiful meeting, melding and blending of the two souls who remember and forget, experience colour, movement and travel a mystical journey together and apart. They are a contradiction of memories and love – they are and they aren't, it's esoteric and cryptic. The male soul, Perth, is born to a human baby but the girl has a more torturous journey and suffers sadness, silence and pain.

A book written not for it's impact as a story, but as a piece of art, a mystical pleasure for adults with more than a touch of imagination.

This is the story follows two souls on their spiritual journey to life. It tells of parting ways and be dinning new journeys. It is written in poetry style, puncuation rules are ignored for impact and and to leave parts open for personal interpretation. This book will not mean the same from one person to the next.

The writing paints a beautiful picture in your mind as you read. I read this at night while going to bed and had beautiful dreams of exploring fantasy lands and soaring through colorful skies.

This book is only 90 pages long, but I have more time invested in this than most 400 page novels. Every line written takes you on a trip of thoughts. Thinking about love made me think about friendship which lead to childhood and so on. There were time I would backtrack because I would notice connections between like es I had read previously. This wasn't just reading a book, it was a journey of the mind.

I will read anything this author writes and completely expect to one day see her have made a major impact on the literary world. I have never read anything as unique or full of emotion as I did in this book.

I recieved a copy of this book through Librarything in exchange for an honest review. I honestly never expected to enjoy this as much as I did. I have never been a fan of poetry, but poetry is just a general and nonaccurate description of what this truly is.

I won this book through a giveaway for an honest review. I want to give a huge thank you to the author of the book Haidji for reaching out to me via email. I love personal touches like that.

Desribed as "A story that creates images in a reader's mind as would each word be a paint stroke painting inside an imagination world"...I could not agree more. Literally from the moment I began reading Life into Mist by Haidji, the best way I could describe the experience I was having was like walking into a painting and living in that world for a moment. It's beautiful and poetic and unconventional. A mystical realm...a story of love and mystery and fear and happiness...of dreams, and energy, and the afterlife, unlike anything I have read in this past year or as far back as I could think. The children living within the mist, their laughter, the White Mountain filled with the lost dreams of people, the old man and his relief at the boat drifting away that he has held guard to for so long, the poetry in all that....fascinating. My favorite lines in the story...the ones that have stayed with me...the ones I will take with me:
The fear to believe that sometimes,
Everything is possible;
that sometimes,
It is never too late.
And that when we really believe in our dreams
"Sometimes" becomes "Always".

Even looking at Haidji's photo in the back...reading the small bio on her, I realize just like her story we are not dealing with just any ordinary person. She's spiritual, abstract, and unconventional and I find that oh so intriguing. I look forward to seeing many more wonderful things by this author in the years to come.

"A Dreamland of Thoughts, Emotions and Life"

"Life Into Mist" is a very poetic mystical story which brings to you serenity. There is a place beyond the world of human beings. A place shrouded in mist and silence. A place of souls waiting their turn to travel to Earth as a newborn. This one angel girl is recounting her life as she lived. She watches children in the mist. One boy, Perth, tries to help an old man who has fallen on a beach and leaves the mist to seek his family's help. Then the girl shines as a crystal looking at the stars through the mist as an old woman looks through her window and observes the brightness glowing from the mist. Another tale is about Perth waking one morning in the mist and is looking for the girl angel. He seeks for her over the river, the ocean, and finds her on a riverbank. Dreams are what keeps the soul reflecting paintings of desire and hope. Without dreams, the soul slumbers. Author Haidji has beauty in her writing, making you feel as you are being transported to her mystical world. She opens the reader's mind to the beauty of stars and nature thus giving one the feeling of serenity as her prose sweeps into your mind. A highly recommended reading experience.

First of all, thank so much to Haidji for sent me a copy of her book.

It´s about two souls, so they live in the "MIST" ( the mist is the world where the starring live with their friends), play with the stars and sands. In this book we see; Love, Wishes, Pain and Passion.

About Haidji, I fell in loved with her writing style, was so perfect, unique and lovely ♥. Every word that I read was so special. The way that the words are wrote is so stunning, It was as a poem. The world that she build was so interestin too. Because she showed us the world of a different way that you fell in love with it.

Some of my favorite quotes were.

" I went to look for autumn,
where dreams matured and the door between worlds opens up,
and impossible things become reality
while the leaves reflect the sunrise colors"

"She woke up in the middle of a night without stars.
Only the moon, through clouds, was to be seen in the sky,
flooding everything with its grayish white light."

I really recommend this book to talk with the friends or in a read club. However, the book teached us a lot of things. I loved it ♥

I received a copy of this book from BookLikes in exchange for an honest review. Upon reading the back cover, I was informed that this book "creates images in a reader's mind, as would each word be a brushstroke inside the paintings of your imagination." Having just finished the book, I cannot think of more appropriate words to describe it.Very poetic with beautiful language that, while not always grammatically correct, flows nicely and creates wonderful images.I'm not going to pretend to really understand everything that happened in this book as some of it was rather abstract, but I still really enjoyed reading it and will be on the look out for more from this author.

In this book we can find a fantasy short story about a growth journey of two characters until they turn to meet again in another realm.

It is a story where we can find friendship, compassion, love, tenderness and more.

When I set out to read a book I'm looking for originality, depth of the characters and plot. Haidji has scored homeruns in all three and in a most unusual way and style. She took me on an almost spiritual journal through a pathway hidden in plain view. At some point along this journey, plot twists were woven and dangled then hidden, only to resurface a few pages later further along sometimes even out front and teasing me to keep up. I enjoyed this immensely. Being a songwriter and poet my entire life she taught me how much I missed. At some points we felt our way tendentiously through the foliage, at others she whisked me threw stardust at incredible speeds. I loved every minute of it. It would be ashamed if the readers of this world didn't notice. And they surely won't. Highly recommend!

It's an amazing poetry/fantasy novel. It's very beautifully written and has an alluring plot. It's my personal opinion,it actually took two times to understand the plot. I'm not very into poetry books. The story revolves around mainly two characters namely, Perth and Blue(I think). It's a bittersweet love story. The children in the book live in mist. They have special powers. They are like angels that catch rainbows and stuff. The girl and Perth become fast friends and fall in love, but then Perth has to go on the earth in the form of a human. She then goes to find him, through the mountains and everything. One she almost dies while searching for him. But then with the help of Melissa, her laugh made of pixie dust, Blue reaches Earth. Spoiler Alert:They both meet in the end!

Life Into Mist is a short story written like a string of poems (to stretch the page count? Because that’s how the writer writes?). It’s like the book equivalent of rhyming pain and rain.

He felt pain inside his heart

She was still sleeping.
In her dream she felt the odor of a perfume
And warmth close to her face.

Just like with Harables by the same author, the sentences were unnecessarily convoluted and broken into awkward lines.

I’m so confused. I’m not sure I can make sense of anything I’ve read. I couldn’t tell you the plot to save my life.

I won this book in a LibraryThing giveaway.

Enticing mysticism, dreamy poetic prose and enchanting storytelling!

This is the first book that I have read by Haidji, but it will by means; be the last.

An exploration of dreams and reality through neat poetic prose, aids the escapism on offer. There is an equal mix of heart, soul and longing to Haidji's narrative that makes 'Life into Mist', compelling and thought provoking, in equal measures.

This book is not just ideal for lovers of the poetic narrative, but is good for everyone to step away from the often dialogue driven approach.

This work is accessible for all!!

This book was like reading a dream, I was a little sceptic about the writing style but I have to say I loved it nonetheless. I liked how the book told a story about love and heartbreak and self discovery and understanding BUT it could be open to any interpretation. You can feel brush strokes and art in every sentence but you can also feel the love, regret and the pain behind every word. Would I read anything else by Haidji? Yes! Do I recommend this book? Yes! It kind of cleansed whatever I had in my mind and helped me see things differently.

GO. READ. THIS. WORK. OF. ART. NOW!

This is another enjoyable book that I have had the pleasure of reading by Haidji. I enjoyed the story behind it, and it flowed very well. I liked reading about both of the main characters and the backstory behind each one. As I was reading, I felt the story come to life within my own mind. The book is broken up into several short chapters, each one telling its own story. At the end, everything comes together and I was left with a feeling of warm happiness.

I really liked this book. I finished it in a few houres and when I finished it i felt empty. For sure need to reread it later this year. The story was very lovely. It made me think. Some things I didn’t got, but I think that’s normal with this story. I would definitely read an other book from this writer.

Yet another wonderful story by Haidji. The book is all about emotions of love, suffering, friendship and heartbreak. The poetic way in which it is written is unique and fantastic. Every line offers a deeper meaning. There were certain parts where I felt it was too much for me but most of it was really good.
