4 Struggling stars

Grace only spends limited time with David in the month between trials. At the same time, Amber realizes that Graces' hold and influence over David is more than she thought and she's determined to use the trials as a way to come between them.

Once back at The Dining Club for the second of four trials, Grace realizes that Amber wants David and wants her to fail. Though she's frightened of what is to come, she soldier forward determined to be what David wants and needs as well as learn more about what is happening to her.

Grace comes to realize that if for some reason she's unable to complete the remaining trials and possibly lose David, she's not sure what that would mean for her sexual life. She's not sure she would want to go back to the the way things were before.

Again, I'm not happy with the fact that Grace hasn't even taken it upon herself to Google this man that she's involved with. He's highly successful and it takes a friend of hers to tell her who he's dated in the past and what people are saying about him. Who can be that oblivious to what's going on around them and who they are involved with. I'm not particularly a fan of cyber stalking someone, but I do believe the more you know the easier it is to knowledgeably move forward.

Also, I said it it in my previous review, but David keeps saying, if she loved him she would try these things. Well why is this all one sided? If he thought he could ove her, why doesn't he try a more vanilla relationship. I just don't like the ultimatum. But I'm loving the trials. LOL

On to the next...

This is a quick review, because that was the quickest I've gone through a galley in quite some time. Not much really happened in this part of the serial novel, to be honest. My mental filter kicked in when I hit the sensual scenes, because I couldn't really believe it - it was just a complete disconnect from the scenario presented.

I'm giving this 1.5 stars because I had the chance a little more of Amber and Andrew in this one and came to know their motivations a little better - and maybe it's because their motivations and personalities jump out more than Grace or David's. Didn't care about Grace and David because both of them got on my nerves. This is probably not what Marina Anderson intended, I'm sure, but in the scheme of things really don't care about Grace and David's relationship. Nothing's convincing me of their relationship - there's no true intimacy or connection built between them, for me to see anything for what they see in each other and why they're taking their relationship to this level. This was especially a problem in "Bound." I'm understanding that this is a club for pleasure, but David is apt to leave Grace all by her lonesome to get his fix, and Grace is absolutely terrified (but yet aroused) of these trials that she has to go through.

The narrative relies heavily on having other characters (Andrew and Amber) tell how David feels about Grace, but it would be a far better thing for the relationship to be shown. I can tell from Amber's reactions that she likes this club, she likes David, and her physical and mental reactions are apt to that. Andrew's still a little less developed than I would like for a character, but I still like him because he is noted as an observant character.

The twins? They're still props for characters. Laura? Um...no.

This story felt incredibly shorter than the other installments, so I blew through it quickly. Will pick up the next one shortly because despite how I can't seem to get into this serial novel's motivations or characters, I do want to see if it improves at all. This really wasn't something I would call enticing, sexy, or interesting, and it really wasn't that much better than the previous part for comparison, but my personal bias was that I want to know how Amber and Andrew's roles develop in this whole thing. And I can maybe hope that Grace gets a backbone and David can get his bum kicked somewhere else (seriously, I'm just done with his character).

Overall score: 1.5/5 stars

Okay so I decided to give this series another shot. This installment was just around 35 pages, very short. And I found myself battling the same issues I had with the first parts of the series.

I have to say that I am annoyed with the overuse of the exclamation points. I can't seem to capture the moments in the dialogue because of them. They are everywhere! <---- purposely placed.

Add to it that David is a complete douchebag that is manipulating Grace beyond anything that resembles caring or love. And although Grace seems to take part in the pleasure and it might just be exposing herself to a side of her sexuality she had not embraced yet, she is still not doing for the right reasons.

David and Grace return from the DIning Club and he stays away from her until their next visit. But in this time he seems to have no problem with the idea of taking part in activities outside of his relationship with Grace. Now I get it, while they are at the club Grace is certainly being pleasured by others outside of David, but hell he made the rules.

Between his manipulations, Grace's unhealthy desire to go against her own instincts and allowing her craving for David to love her be the driving source of participating I am not finding this really sexy. I am interested and secretly hoping that Grace dumps him, but knowing that she won't. I just can't seem to not read these, but not for story or the sexiness.

I haven't read the first two books in the series but I knew what I was going to deal with and it didn't bother me to not knowing what happened before. At first I thought it would have been a quick and sexy read but well, it was more boring than anything else. Maybe it was just me but I wanted it to end quickly. It wasn't my taste and I wasn't hooked to the story or the characters. I didn't like Amber and found myself rolling my eyes when the story was told in her point of view. Grace was naive (it got really on my nerves) and David was too manipulative for me to like him.

I had a hard time reading "Crave" and that's why I rated it that low. I wish I had liked it better.

Title: The Dining Club; Desire, Bound, Crave
Author: Marina Anderson
Publisher/Year: Grand Central Publishing. 8/20/13 - 9/3/13
Length: 30+ Pages
Series: The Dining Club (#s 1-3)

Overview

Part One: Desire

Young, ambitious theatre director Grace has no time for distractions, but she just cannot resist enigmatic city financier, David. Alluring, charismatic and an incredible lover - David never lets Grace get too close. So when he invites her to a weekend at his private club, Grace is thrilled.

Arriving at the secluded location, and excited by her nerves, David reveals the truth behind the Dining Club: a place where guests are taught to open their minds, and their bodies to erotic challenges. If she passes the tests, she is promised ecstasy beyond her wildest fantasies. If she fails, she's forbidden to ever set foot in the exclusive club again. But even as David's seductive commands make Grace feel more daring than ever before, she begins to fear for their future. What if she fails one of the Club's tantalizing trials? Will David still want her or will she lose him forever?

Part Two: Bound

Grace has surprised herself by falling hard for the breathtaking financier David. But now she knows that in order to keep this man, she will have to explore his darker side.

Grace is shocked by her body's instinctive response to the private club David has introduced her to: the Dining Club-a secret society where members can explore their most forbidden fantasies. David got her through the Club's exclusive doors-but to stay she must pass a series of erotic trials.

Wrapped in a luxurious dress of chiffon and lace that David gave her for her first challenge, Grace is anxious and excited to enter into the heart of the Dining Club. Little does she know that one of its members, the dazzling and domineering Amber, has every intention of keeping David all to herself . . .

Part Three: Crave

Grace has had her first taste of the Dining Club . . . and she's already addicted. Now, as she counts down the days until her next erotic challenge at the Club, she can't stop thinking about David's stamina and the earth-shattering pleasures that await her.

When a stunning red dress arrives from David, Grace feels more ready than ever to meet the Club's next test. But the new challenge that awaits her is more dangerous than decadent-dazzling Club member Amber is more eager than ever to win David's affection, and Grace must do whatever it takes to keep him.

My Thoughts

When i read the pre-cursor that it would be similar to 50 Shades or Bared to You, i thought that this was right up my alley. I've also learned along the way that i tend to really enjoy books that are written in a novella format where we get a few more chapters each week so that it keeps you wanting a bit more. In this case, i stumbled upon the series when there were 3 installments out so i've gotten a pretty decent taste of what's to come.

At the onset of the story, we meet Grace and David who are in a pretty decent length relationship. It seems from the surface that all is well, they enjoy each other quite physically and what's nice about this story's beginning is that it seems like both have their separate lives and aren't reliant on the other (yet). David is a successful financier from what we gather and Grace is a play producer of sorts. Once we learn that they are in a well standing relationship, David throws in the curve-ball of an invitation to a private club known as the Dining Club. As you can expect from this genre, i'm sure that it's a BDSM club of sorts.

At the club, we are then introduced to Amber (whom actually confused me for a second since i wasn't quite sure why she was introduced quite so quickly) but anyhow, she's the hostess at The Dining Club and has some type of relationship with David.

This story takes us through the path of David needing to see if Grace can conform to his rather kinky tastes, and Grace fighting it every step of the way since she's quite 'vanilla' yet she doesn't want to lose David. The other piece here is that Amber considers David to be 'hers' and that makes for an interesting dimension of the relationship. Grace starts to pick up on this and that's makes the story even more interesting.

so, the question that we'll have to keep reading on to find is what lengths will Amber go to in order to out-do Grace, and will she succeed? The other question is whether Grace will actually ever let go enough to enjoy herself and see that maybe David's tastes aren't quite so 'kinky'.

To be completely honest though, there's a flaw that i found in this story. While it's a different character dynamic than other series in this genre, there's something that i feel is kind of lacking. It feels quite clinical sometimes, with the scenes that they engage in, and while i want to feel heat and passion since that's what's being written, i'm just not. I hope that as we see these folks grow together in the next installments, that my feeling will change. I also wish that we knew a little bit more about Grace and David since they seem very 2 dimensional. I'm more accustomed to series like this that draw you into a deeper emotional / psychological bond at least from one of the mains. We'll just have to wait and see if that happens.

Crave, the third installment in the Dining Club series picks up right where Bound ended. This one has Grace's friend, Fran, warning her that even though David is a rich financier, he's got a reputation for being a ladies' man and never having any intention of settling down. I thought Fran was a total bitch to Grace, and I was surprised that she was giving her all these warnings six months after Grace started dating David. Fran asked Grace repeatedly if David was good in bed, and that was kind of weird to me.

We also see Amber, the girl that runs the Dining Club, explaining to Andrew that she's going to do her best to be sure that Grace fails so that David doesn't fall in love with Grace. David goes to the Dining Club to be sure everything is set up for Grace's weekend and is tempted by Amber, but decides to go home instead of having sex with her, which I liked. The fact that he kisses Amber before he leaves just proves how manipulative he truly is, though.

When it's finally time for Grace's next trial, she expresses fear to which Amber lets her know:
As always, should you wish to quit the trial at any point you only need to say the word and you'll be released from this room. Naturally you would then have to leave the Dining Club immediately. No one can attempt the trial twice, meaning this is your only opportunity to learn if you can take pleasure from something that your respective partners enjoy.

Which. I'm not even going to say it again.

I liked Grace the best in this novella so far. She actually asks what we've been wondering all along:
Yes. I don't understand how, if you truly feel anything for me, you can take pleasure in seeing me hurt. It doesn't make any sense. That's not what a loving relationship is meant to be about."

"I don't want to see you hurt," he said softly, one hand stroking her long, dark hair. "I want you to learn that immense pleasure can come through just a little pain."

"I don't believe that's true. It's cruel and you're being unkind," she retorted, on the edge of tears.

He bent lower, until his mouth was against her ear. "It is true, my darling. If you really loved me, then you'd trust me."

This one ended pretty abruptly, moreso than the other novellas, and didn't seem to end in a place that made sense. Pretty much like the rest of this series doesn't make much sense.

Grace can't wait to go back to the Dining Club. She's surprised that she is looking forward to whatever David has in store for her, but she is also afraid of what this could mean.

Now that she has discovered this sensual side of her, she not only fears for the end of the relationship she has with David if she fails, she's also worrying about what she will do with these new feelings the tests at the Dining Club have arisen within her.

Once at the Dining Club, Grace steps up to the challenge. She is certain that Amber is out to make her fail, but Grace wants a relationship with David - Amber be dammed!

This was a very short read and I still don't know what to say about it. I keep reading the installments in hopes of seeing more of David and Grace's relationship developing, but it's just not there.

And to top it off, I am not getting much of character development with David. I thought he would, not change his mind, but be more supportive. I don't know. I feel like he's just along for the ride and that he wouldn't be losing much if Grace fails. it's like he truly does not care. That's the impression I'm getting.

Off all the Dining Club employees, Amber is the only one that has gotten a reaction out of me. I despise her. That is one bitch of a woman and I don't like her AT ALL. However, she is what drives Grace to overcome her fears and forge ahead and one of the most developed of the characters. So yeah, I enjoyed her. Somewhat.

Then there's Andrew, who caught my attention on the previous installment. At least now I understand what he wishes to get out of teaming with Amber. I'm sure it'll make for some interesting reading what these two come up to sabotage Grace.

Having said all that, I am still intrigued. I'm looking forward to the next installment to see what David comes up with next and in what way Amber is going to try to sabotage Grace's chances to succeed. I'm also hoping that David and Grace's relationship progresses a little and that we get some insight into who David is, because so far he is not at the top of my list of favorite people.

All in all, Crave was a short, sexy read that left me intrigued to know more about the next test Grace is going to participate in at The Dining Club.

I received this title from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange of my honest opinion.

The next short installment in the continuing saga of financier David White's challenge to Grace, a theater director. After barely passing the first trial of The Dining Club Grace is filled with trepidation and excitement when she wonders what the challenge might be. Amber tried to devise a challenge she feels Grace will be unable to succeed at without tipping her hand to David. Andrew tries to warn her, but Amber is determined to keep David for herself and in order to do that Grace must go.

Crave - Book 3 of The Dining Club first makes me wonder what kind of people Grace considers friends. Jealousy seems to be a problem for her even away from the The Dining Club. I am pleased to see David is more committed to Grace than even he realizes, but I, like Grace find some parts of the trial can be done by someone who professes to love you. Control Freak is an apt moniker for David. Will Grace be willing to submit herself to this new aspect of David's sexual fantasies for her or will Amber win when she walks away. My one question to the author is will I find at a later date what Laura did that caused her to be punished?

This is the third installment of the series from the mind of Marina Anderson. Once again I want to warn you to have a something ready to put the fire out. This series is definitely one that you need to read in order. Be sure to have Seduced, Book 4 ready to go because once again you are left not wanting to leave until you find out what comes next.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for these books

Review also published here: http://jj13.booklikes.com/post/593528...

I read these first 5 parts straight after each other and now I'm not sure what happened in what part, so I'm just gonna review them all together...

Grace and David have some wicked chemistry, when they're on the same page and not questioning motives, desires, and the future.

I love how Grace is embracing and exploring this new side of her sexuality, although the setting of The Dining Club is highly controlled and intimidating. But I'm not a fan of how David seems to have become more distant since their first visit to the club.

Even more, I HATE David's double standards! Complaining about how his mother used his father's love for her to control him, stopping him from doing the things he loved & doing what she wanted, a slow manipulation over time. He swears he will never let a woman do that to him. However, David knows exactly how Grace feels about him, and he's using that as a weapon against her, to manipulate & pressure her into completing the challenges at The Dining Club.

Yes, she does end up enjoying the things she experiences, but that doesn't make it ok for David to pull the "if you love me" & "you're doing it for us" bullshit. If it's ok for him, then Grace too has a right to do the same.

Although this isn't completely blowing me away, I still want to finish off the last 3 parts in this series.

2 out of 5 for this reader folks!

I am really not loving this series and I am one who really loves my smut read. Crave like the first two stories is enticing, I can say I liked it, was perhaps aroused by the smut level, but that extra UUMMPPFFF I crave when reading erotica is completely missing and therefore leaves me with an icky feeling.

I think the TRUST between a DOM and a SUB has to be written clearly, to make me appreciate and warm to the sex scenes. David who claims is a DOM is a clear cut asshole who I believe truely has no conscience. A DOM savours, protects and while thru a not so gentle hand at times, encourages success and relishes that their SUBS breakthroughs is what pleases a DOM. The constant threatening of what will happen is Grace fails and the non-committal attitude David seems to have towards Grace, makes me absolutely abhor him. Not so good when he is the main man in a story!

I will say however, that the villian Amber is written brilliantly. She is the most honest character of this series. Her plotting an planning is believable as she truely fears losing something she deems precious!

As I am reviewing for Netgalley, I will continue this series. I hope there is some way that I can see David in a different light .. I really do!

i got this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review..

this was a very quick enjoyable read. this book continues where it left off on the second part of the book.

Grace just experienced her weekend at the Dining club, and passed the test. now, she is looking forward for the next weekend with her boyfriend David. meanwhile to pass the time she is working on her play with her friend. Her friend is not happy with this new relationship of Grace's. She told her about the newspaper, and how they are totally different. Grace starts to defend David, but couldn't stop thinking about what had happened to her at the dining club.

David is back early from business, and he went to the club without Grace. he was looking forward to punishing their latest girl who messed up the test. he realizes where he should actually be, and that makes his hired manager mad. She still wants him to herself, and Grace is her stepping stone. she needs to make this next test hard, so she will fail and David would love her instead of Grace.

Grace is not happy with this next test, but just to make the other girl angry she goes along with it and what happens after that will shock and amaze you :)

I received a copy of this book in return for a review from Netgalley.
I am extremely grateful...very, very grateful. This is the 3rd addition to the DINING CLUB SERIES, and it picks up right where the last left off. Thankfully!

Grace and David are flying high with the affair they've embarked on. CRAVE begins right after Grace's last "trial" at the club. She's off kilter and still riding high, only with the diminishing high comes the doubt. Doubt of her choice, her desires and her reactions. She flies high while with David, but uses work to ground herself from the ongoing dialogue in her head//heart.

David is flying high from the combined lust and pride he feels for Grace. You begin to see the fear he feels at the rising emotions that Grace stirs in him. It happens to be one of my favorite things to see; a strong alpha brought to his knees by feelings he refuses to acknowledge. David is a man that is just begging to be proven wrong and shown just how good lust and love can be!

This is a part of a serial short. A serial that is a completely deliciously indulgent. A truly wicked and wonderful treat. It's the perfect pick me up for a really bad day or better yet a quick prep to inspire a wicked evening of your own. *wink*

The Dining Club is more than the name implies. It is a place to discover how far you are willing to challenge your sensuality and discover/expand your sexual horizon. This is erotica at its best.

Our story follows Grace as she discovers David, the man she has fallen in love with, cannot commit to his love for her, unless she is able to discover and participate in the kind of lovemaking that makes him complete. The Dining Club provides a series of tests which will expose Grace to BDSM. If she is able to complete the 4 trials involved, David will be able to finally fully commit to her.

The trials, although not extreme, left me wondering how far could someone go to prove love and commitment. Through this serial novel, we come to know our characters in some depth. This serial novel evolves through 8 different insttallments. We ourselves are placed in the trials with Grace, making us wonder how we ourselves would survive each test.

This story is brilliantly written, with full character development and a great plot line. The ending is good but leaves me wondering if the author is considering a spinoff novel or novels. There are characters in this novel I would love to read more about!

In part three, Grace is going back to the Dining Club to go through her second trial. As the time draws nearer, Grace is informed that she won’t be alone in the second trial. She is informed that last month’s guest must repeat the trial do to employee errors from the previous month. She gets more nervous because of this but soon takes comfort in the fact that she won’t be alone as she breaches her fears and relaxes into the trial. Andrews affections for Grace continues to grow while Amber gains steam in her resolve to end Grace’s time at the Club through ensuring Grace fails. “Crave ends halfway through her second trial so I must say that I read on to part four because I just couldn’t wait long enough to write this review.

I’m getting more engaged in the characters of the series and find myself rooting for Grace’s success through all four trials even though I continue to believe that David remains aloof and unaffectionate towards Grace as she is struggling to try and understand what is happening and what will happen next. Her ignorance in this lifestyle increases her apprehension to continue and he does nothing (in my opinion) to calm her.

Still at a 4 star as we get through this third part.

Crave by Marina Anderson is the third book in the eight part serial "The Dining Club". I don't know if it was because I got sucked in so quickly or if it just really was so short. It's the same length as the last two books but seemed shorter.

I felt a little cheated that it ended so quickly, and I am not one to usually complain about serial novel lengths and prices. Unfortunately, I have been sucked in and will continue on to book four, Seduce.

I knew early on that I didn't like Amber and this book just made that all the more true.

A short review for a short book.

Crave is the third installment of this series. This book ends in the middle of the trial so its a cliffhanger installment (more so than the others so far). However, you see that our Grace is beginning to find her sensual side and confidence as well as shes realizing just how far the snake, Amber, will go to keep David all to himself. At least in the second trial she wont be all by herself. I am curious to see how Andrew plays out more in this plot, he seems like he could be an interesting character for Grace, good or bad I don't know yet. I haven't yet got a good opinion on David yet. The character development seems to focus on Grace more than him. I hope we see more about who David is other than a wealthy guy who needs Grace to complete the trials in order to have a relationship, or else I'm going to start to wonder if he's even worth it, Grace has certainly shown her devotion but I need to see his.

3.5 stars.

I say again...I sometimes find David very manipulative! He doesn't understand his own feelings but he is using Graces to get what he wants. One minute he is telling her if she loved him she would try the tasks and in the next he is being cold towards her, I know this is his internal battle but it feels wrong to me!
Another table task in this book...and its a very interesting one! Grace is now on table two so the task is a bit harder than the last one and she has the added problem of both Amber and Andrew wanting her to fail. Amber wants David and Andrew wants her! But she has clicked to what Amber is up to and she can guess the reason why, this makes her even more determined to pass these tasks and win her man.

I am intrigued to find out what happens on table 5 as it really has Amber scared and convinced her days are numbered at The Dining Club!
Looking forward to the next part!

**** EROTICA BOOK CLUB REVIEW ****

CRAVE (The dining club part 3)

By Marina Anderson

This is book 3 in the series and continues on from book 2, Grace is now going onto Table 2 and she must complete the task if she wants to continue her relationship with David. The Dining room is an erotic club that the females must eat at every month starting from table 1 through to 5 for Desert they must complete a sexual test to move onto the next table the following month.

This is really hot sex situations and it is defiantly a different and erotic read. I'm not liking Amber very much she is a bitch and feels threatened saying that I don't like David either. I am hoping this will change as the story continues.

I am really enjoying these stories but find they are very short but I have been reading them almost one after the other.

I received a copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

3.5 stars for Amazon and 3 for Goodreads

Reviewed for Netgalley. This third book follows the preceding books in plot and story. Again a very quick read centered around Grace and David. How far will Grace go at the Dinner Club to keep David. I am still not convinced that this is the way a relationship would be even in this type of erotic novel but I am curious to see where this series goes especially given Amber and Andrews fascination with Grace and David. Again sex scenes are erotic and very open. Not my usual thing as no romance involved at all. There are multiple people given one person sex at the same time. It kind of freaked me out but that may be due to my romantic nature. There is something freeing I suppose about the notion of sex with skilled lovers giving you what they think you want but will it go the way you think in the end. We will have to see.

Again I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was into the story but there are parts that throw me off. Amber again is to me an unnecessary part or an already potentially complicated story. David is a jerk! IF he would explain stuff before going into I believe Grace would be more acceptable.

This is the second trial. Pleasure from pain. Again it's not for everyone. It's scary and some dont realize how good it can be until they try it. David basically ignores Grace in the month in between the trials. He lies to her, and treats her like crap. He keeps telling her that she doesn't love him if she can't do this for him? Seriously? You have crazy Amber ready and willing yet your still craving something else. Bud you are suppose to be smart. DO THE MATH!!!

They are good but like a few books sometimes the characters just make it hard to read.

Crave is the third installment of the Dining Club saga, which is split up into several, very short stories. This one in particular is very short - only 8,000 words and was over before it had even started!

It carries on from the previous installment, with Grace facing her next trial at the Dining Club. There wasn't as much build up and suspense as the second one, and the sex parts seemed like they were just thrown in there for the sake of it.

There isn't much more I can say about it, apart from the fact that I enjoyed it, having read it in about 20 minutes and am looking forward to reading the next installment, which will hopefully finish off the story of Grace's second trial at the Dining Club.

I was asked to review for Netgalley.

This book Crave carries on from where Bound left. Grace is very disturbed of her feelings and what happened at The Dining Club that month. Her anticipation at what is going to happen at the next monthly Dining Club experience leaves her feeling vulnerable. She defends her relationship with David against her friend Fran, who she thinks is dangerous. David has been doing what he does best and that is avoid the unavoidable with Grace (his feelings for her). Amber is just soooo argh, I want to get hold of her and throw her out the door.

Now the ending has me worried to what will happen next to Grace as the other person has left the dungeon of doom. Now I need to know what happens next. So off to sort out Seduce next.

I received a copy of Crave courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for a review

Crave starts off where Bound ended, and Grace is going to do her third trial. This one makes her a bit more nervous, and David isn't helping at all. How she can stay in a relationship with him is beyond me. At least he's helping her explore a side of herself she wasn't aware of. Too bad Grace has to share her trial with another gal. I think she handles herself well in this part, esp when she asks David why he wants to hurt her if he cares for her. It would seem to make more sense to have brought the BDSM to the bedroom in a private manner instead, but I guess that's not what the game is about. This trial was pretty hot tho

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in place of an honest review.

With each book I read I find out more and more about every character. Seems that Grace is stronger than she thought she was. The more Amber tries to make things harder for her. Grace knows that she can't let Amber win.

Grace loves David but she doesn't really know what David really needs. He is keeping a lot of secrets. I just don't know how this relationship is going to work out. The more I read the more I ask myself is Grace doing what she really wants to do?

I am enjoying this series and just wish they were longer. So I will be off to read the next book because I can't wait to see what will be happening next.

This is the third book in the Dining Club series, and it is necessary to read the other two in order to fully appreciate book 3. In this installment we see the beginnings of just how much Amber is trying to keep David by making things more difficult for Grace. Grace is still confused as she tries to pass each test, as to why David needs these actions to prove her love. Even though she is surprisingly enjoying the results of each test she is confused as to why David is demanding the tests. Once again my only real complaint is the length of the novella, but you are immediately sucked into the action and want to know what's next.

Part three in The Dining Club series brought back the excitement and love I had for the characters in the fist installment. Grace's second trial was one that truly tested her love for David and though I would have liked to have read the whole trial in this third book, I still fully enjoyed the story.

The reason I enjoyed this book so much was because I got to see Grace in her normal life as well as in the secret life of The Dining Club. This and the development of the other characters stories made me really delve into Part three, "Crave". And it left me excited to see what is to come in part four!

I just don't know what to think. Here in the 3rd installment of The Dining Club Grace finds herself looking forward to time at the CLUB. Basically this left me feeling cold. Amber is definitely against Grace and will do anything to ensure her failure at the club. Amber gets off on this. To each her own. I do not like the underlying tone of if you really love me you will prove it by succeeding at the club. I cannot love you if you don't do this for me. There is no love felt from David at this point. I am happy he . Abstained from sex with Amber while at the club during Laura's discipline. I will continue to see if Grace gets her ever after.

My thoughts were confirmed, David is an ass, i feel for Grace so much.
I really wanted this story to show how much David did really care for her however shielding them from the press, pushing her above her levels on only her second bdsm related events, no safeword mentioned and having some stranger penetrate her without discussing it first just makes me want to slap him and drag her out of there to show her not every one into kink it that cruel.
I'll keep reading and see if my opinion changes, the book is brilliant in the sense it keeps me wanting to read more, it's just this main character i don't like.
