Be warned, Kendall was not joking when she says this short is explicit. 'm not a prude...but this story me blush LOL. I have just recently started reading erotica novels and I loved Inhale. This short is a scene from Inhale, so it will contain spoilers if you haven't read it. I really enjoyed reading the story from Sinnder's POV. This story was frickin' smoking hot, rightfully so. I almost feel kind of filthy having read it LOL. It was highly entertaining and I definitely recommend all of her books.

How do I even begin to tell you about this book? Because really....the only word that comes to mind is HOT! I'm talking, cover every surface of your house in plastic HOT! Get your ice bucket ready HOT!
Sinnder is a Fire elemental, who certainly lives up to the heat. He's dangerous, mysterious, and sexy as heck. In this short, Sinnder takes you through his version of how the night in Shaggy's would have gone, had he had total control of the situation. I'll go ahead and admit that even though Sinnder is working for the bad guys, I've always liked him. Fire elementals are natural seducers, but I also really liked seeing how Sinnder's mind worked and how he viewed Zoe AND Gavin, which made him even more appealing. He simply oozes sex appeal and I am intrigued to know more about his past.
As for the sex....this Ephemera WAS sex. I was completely numb after reading this. I mean...a Sinnder and Gavin sandwich...SIGN ME UP!!!! The sexy parts certainly had a twist, that brought on hot flashes and a change of pj's. No lie. Your spouses will bow down to Kendall Grey in thanks when you finish reading this book.
I'm seriously pumped about Sinnder's upcoming series. It's going to be smokin' and I have an idea who his love interest will be. At least, I hope and think she will give him the challenge he needs in a partner. Can't wait!

Stifle by Kendall Grey was packed full of steamy visions and contained most of the things you see warnings about. This is definitely an erotic short story that is pulled from the mind of Sinnder. Sinnder is a very naughty boy. Hell, he’s even a nominee for best villain in the Bookie Awards! Although..after reading this you might decide that being that naughty might not be too bad. Stifle is made to be read as a supplement to the Just Breathe Trilogy. It is not a complete Novella with an entire story. What it IS, is a surprisingly hot fantasy of Sinnders..that just might become yours as well. It was very well written and from page one I could not put it down. If you are in need of some pure steamy, hot, and well written Erotica…Stifle will not disappoint. It was a beautifully written erotic story with a great emotional element that gives you more depth into Sinnder.

I am a huge fan of Grey's Just Breathe series, so I was beyond thrilled to learn she was writing a short story. When I learned that the story would be sexually explicit, involve Sinnder-Gavin-Zoe, and offer an alternate point of view of a scene in Inhale, I was through the roof with giddiness. (I might have peed my pants.)
Stifle delivers. This story is, without a doubt, one of the best erotic stories I've ever read. The author has a talent for writing stories that embrace the reader, pulling us into the scene. The Sinnder-centered point of view was a brilliant move. Scenarios that wouldn't ring true for two of the characters made absolute sense when portrayed as a fantasy.
I still can't get Stifle out of my head. I'm not sure how many pages this story contains, maybe 25. But here's this: Stifle was so freaking insanely hot that it took me forty-five minutes to read. The picture of Sinnder-Gavin-Zoe that Grey paints is what fantasies are made of. While I read, I was fanning myself, and I must have looked crazy, because my hubby actually stopped what he was doing and sat down to watch me read. When I finished, I put my Kindle down, declared Grey deserved a big kiss and promptly headed to the shower to cool down. When I got out of the shower, I caught him reading the story. He finished, looked at my with glazed over eyes, and shook his head a few times. Later he said to tell Grey "Thanks a million" for Stifle.
Kendall Grey possesses a true talent for erotica. I would love to see what she could do with a full-length novel. I hope she writes much more smut in the future!

I love the Just Breathe series and snagged this puppy up the day it was released. It is far more.... just more than Inhale and takes place during a scene at the end of Inhale. I loved it because it gave me some real insight into the one character.
This is what Kendall wrote about this story on her website and to be honest, she says it better than I ever could:

Extremely short, but very erotic and to the point. In the point of view of the intriguing and enigmatic Sinnder, which I keep reading as Snider. It must be my short circuited addled brain that keeps seeing that. This is only meant as a supplement to the Just Breathe trilogy. This scene takes place during the first book, when Zoe goes to the club and meets Sinnder, and eventually finds out that her dream beau is actually real.
All the erotica is just a fantasy in the mind of Sinnder, as he contemplates lost love and total lust. Even in his fantasies, Zoe and Gavin's chemistry/love is in the forefront, and eventually shatters his most erotic and lust-filled fantasies.

This short story is a scene from Inhale as told from Sinnder's point of view. While Zoe is at the club and about to find out that her "Mr.Perfect" from her dreams is actually a real person, Scarlet is poised to dig her claws back into Gavin. In order to do that, she orders Sinnder to keep Zoe away, by any means possible. Sinnder allows his mind to travel to a very erotic fantasy that involves himself and Zoe....and Gavin!
I love when I get to read the same scenes from a different point of view. Sinnder's fantasy was....wow! Yet even in his own daydream, his feelings of loneliness bubble to the surface.
While reading the series I knew there some something more to this character and wanted so much to see, well, more! Although this is nowhere near the full story behind Sinnder, it allowed a bit of a window to see the goodness lurking within.

Once again I'm impressed with Kendall Grey's writing. This has to be the BEST erotica novel I have ever read and let me tell you why... Actual sex is not involved. WHAT?!
This takes you to places mentally and emotionally that will have you bursting at the seams and just when you think it's going somewhere you are quickly cooled down only to be sky rocketed back into that mind set you had to come back down from. Up and down, up and down... HOLY HAWT HELL!
Sinnder... Your creative ways are those that even the gods envy.

Wow! I was surprised and excited by this story! It was totally beyond anything expected. This is a scene at Shaggy’s bar while Gavin’s band, Just Breathe, performs. Sinnder eyes Zoe down, annoyed by Scarlet. He bumps into Zoe and his mind jumps into overdrive. What happens next is pure excitement. It was terrific seeing this scene from a bystander’s point of view, especially when that bystander is Sinnder.
The fantasies that Sinnder has are seriously sexy, and they venture into ménage territory in a variety of ways. I loved it. Definitely one of my two favorite of the four ephemera. I highly recommend!

This is one hot short story!! You will need an ice cold shower after reading this one. It's no secret that I totally love Sinnder and want more of him in this series, so this short story from his POV has left me dying for more of him. Besides the hotness that this story is, I can see that there is much more to Sinnder and want more than this hot little peek. Kendall sure does know how to write some hot erotica. If you like that kind of thing, this is a fantastic short story to pick up. You might want to read Inhale first though, so you kinda know what's happening in this scene.

I love the Just Breathe series, and I'm eagerly awaiting book 3 in the trilogy, so having something like this in between is fantastic. The only reason this story didn't get the fifth star is that I had trouble picturing some of the body positioning during the more graphic scenes. Granted, it didn't bother me for long, as this is one steamy story! But, you really do need to read Inhale first, or this won't make much sense.
Also, the author has repeated it numerous times, but needs to be reiterated, especially for this one: THIS SERIES IS NOT YA!!

Oh my god! This story is so freaking hot you'll need a cold shower afterwards! Kendall Grey shows us just what goes through a Fire's mind when he's lusting after a human. I love Sinnder as a character and reading this story makes me love him even more. In my Inhale review, I referred to him as HOT. He's surpassed that... incendiary is the only word for him now. Though, through the interludes between lust-filled daydreams, we see a side of Sinnder only hinted at until now. Another great story from Kendall!

Wooo, this short story is hot hot hot... And Sinnder is one kinky elemental! Be forewarned, you want to read Inhale before reading this sexually explicit short. It takes place during a scene from Inhale and will give away some important information if you jump ahead. Aside from all the hot sex happening, I liked that we get some hints into Sinnder's past. Who is Eileen and what happened to her? Can't wait to find out!

I put this story on text-to-speech while driving home from class, completely clueless as to the extent of the content...until I wasn't, rofl. It threw me off a little because the sex scenes in the main story weren't at this level. I can definitely say I'm glad it's winter time, so windows were rolled up. I don't often read about threesomes, but I guess it's nice to know that the author peddles smut for the greater good.

Wow!! Very hot!! I like being able to see what was going on with Sinnder during the scene when he sees Zoe at the bar. I knew he was a dirty boy just not how dirty. But at the same time as much as he is a pure angry raw Fyre , he's more complicated than that and we get to see an underlying fragile side which ( at least to me) not only made me want to know more about that character but made me want to fix him. Compliments the Just Breathe series nicely.

Stifle is a very HOT erotic short story that goes with the Just Breathe trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed this short for both the very adult content & the added insight it gives for readers who appreciate the character Sinnder. Really hoping to learn more about Sinnder in the rest of the series. Highly recommend for a damn naughty read ;-)

Wow. talk about a Fyrey short story. I love Sinnder and after his very erotic thoughts well just wow. I think this is one of the best erotic scenes I have read. Kendall is a great up and coming author and her proceeds are being donated to whale education.
