Susan Vandom is a fictional character from the W.I.T.C.H. comics and TV series. Susan is the mother of Will Vandom and first appeared in Issue 001: Halloween.
Plot[]
Susan used to be married to Thomas Vandom. They lived in a city called Fadden Hills and had a daughter, Will Vandom. Thomas focused on his job and made risky investments, to the point where he sold Susan's parents' house without telling her. Susan worked to pay off his debts, in an effort to save her family. They divorced. Will had problems in school because of her parents' divorce and Thomas kept trying to contact them, so Susan and her daughter moved to Heatherfield at the beginning of Issue 001: Halloween.
Thomas appeared in Susan and Will's lives again in Issue 024: Trust Me. He tried to win over Will by giving her expensive presents. In reality, he came to get money from Susan, and wanted to get a custody of Will in case she didn't agree. He left again when Kadma gave him money in Issue 026: The Ultimate Blackmail.
In Issue 003: The Dark Dimension, Will found out that Susan is seeing Dean Collins, her history teacher. Susan and Dean mantained a relationship throughout the comics and got married in Issue 062: Between the Pages. In issue Issue 075: You're Back to Who You Used to Be, it was revealed that she got pregnant. Her and Dean's son, William Collins, was born in Issue 080: Emotions.

- Susan is very protective of her children, but is sometimes unfair in Will's eyes.[citation needed]
- It is possible that she has a magical background as both her children have magical powers.
