The Nezumi are the Ratkin native to East Asia. Unlike many in the Beast Courts, the Nezumi maintain close ties with other Ratkin around the world, and are often accused of divided loyalties.

Overview[]

The Nezumi live much like their Western counterparts, in the shadows of the human civilization they disdain. They know a number of Gifts that are rare outside Asia, but in turn they rarely manifest the four Freak Aspects found in other Ratkin plagues.

Nezumi dominate the Beast Courts of Indonesia and Vietnam, and in Myanmar, they are rumored to have an unlikely alliance with the Khan and the Kumo against the democratic government. Where hengeyokai are found among Asian-American populations, such as Los Angeles, the Nezumi have by far the best relationship with their Western counterparts.
