Biography[]
Dharma Bum, born Lester Grimes, was in and out of foster homes by the time he was 7. Soon thereafter, when nobody else wanted him, he went AWOL from his boys' home and took up penny-ante hustling to put food in his mouth. The ability to become eight feet tall and 600 pounds helped out a bit, but the streets are hardly a charming place, and Dharma soon found himself on a first-name basis with local cops, with an arrest record that rivaled the length of War and Peace. In his spare time, he spun lascivious rap tales at a hip-hop club and managed to catch the eye of a major-label producer, for whom he cuts records when he's not out with his boys.

Dharma Bum is a wiry man of average build with kinky black hair and the thousand-yard stare. He wears the latest street fashions popular with his young black crowd and is almost never found without a complement of flashy but trashy rings and necklaces. In Lupus form, he is a short-haired and very doglike wolf, often mistaken for a German shepherd.
