Pumas wins seventh Mexican league title

MEXICO CITY (AP) UNAM Pumas won the Mexican Clausura championship on Sunday after Javier Cortes' spectacular late winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Morelia.

Cortes dribbled past three defenders before sending a powerful strike past outstretched goalkeeper Federico Vilar for the winning goal in the 77th minute of the second leg of the final.

The first leg finished 1-1.
