Kazehiki VX-β VOCALOID6 UTAU | Songs Albums Notable Originals

This article is about the VOCALOID6 software known as a voicebank. If you are looking for the VOCALOID character then click here.

History[]

On July 9, 2024, the official Yamaha VOCALOID Twitter account posted a tweet headlined "Until we meet again", containing a new short video teasing former VX-β vocalists Gekiyaku and Kazehiki; further details were said to be announced on the 11th.[1] On July 11, Yamaha retweeted the teaser trailer of a new VOCALOID6-tagged song performed by both KUZUTOKAZE vocals, with their names now rebranded from Gekiyakuβ and Kazehikiβ to GekiyakuV and KazehikiV respectively (suggesting that they may have made the transition from the now-shuttered VOCALOID β-STUDIO program to VOCALOID6). The song was announced to be released in full on the 18th.[2]

On July 18, the full version of the demo song was published. At the same time, Yamaha announced that GekiyakuV and KazehikiV were now available for the VOCALOID6 engine and purchaseable from the VOCALOID SHOP, both as standalone voicebanks and as a dual GekiyakuV/KazehikiV Set; a Starter Pack bundling both voices together with the VOCALOID6 editor was also made available.[3]
