Makarov is a minor antagonist in the FreezeFlame22 Youtube series, Bowser's Koopalings episode Bowser Jr.'s Gift. He is a member of the Shadows who kidnapped Bowser Jr. and was later killed by Mouser.

Makarov would encounter Larry Koopa. Larry would think that Makarov is apart of his Minecraft server. Makarov would ask if he looks like he plays Minecraft. Larry says he looks like he plays smash bros. Makarov tells him that he was looking for a present for his brother. Makarov shows the Blasta Mechakoopa and gives it to Larry to give to Bowser Jr. The Blasta Mechakoopa is actually a spy device. Later when Bowser Jr. would wake up, Makarov would tell him that he led the Orange Star right to them. Mouser would laugh and tell Makarov good work. Makarov would ask to get paid but would get shot by a Bill Blaster, killing him.
