Iron Spider Mask (鉄グモ仮面 Tetsu Gumo Kamen, 76) is the twenty-second of Black Cross Commander-in-Chief Golden Mask's Masked Monsters.
He was voiced by Masaya Taki who later voiced the Yo-Yo Mask, a Study Monster, a Fly Trap Monster and a Study Brain.
History[]
The Iron Spider Mask made his first appearance at the lab where he sent a swarm of spiders to capacitate the Eagle soldiers as well as sending the Zolders to keep Peggy preoccupied he manages to bit Peggy's left arm making it numb, however before he could take a bite out of her, Tsuyoshi knocked the monster away as he questions who he is as the monster revealed itself to the duo and then the battle was on, but unknown to the duo since the Iron Spider Mask and Zolders were keeping the Gorengers occupied the Ninja Corps manages to steal an Isogenic Bacteria (which was intended for purifying liquid waste from factories) within the lab. Once the bacteria was stolen the Iron Spider Mask sends out the Battler and open fire at the duo leaving Tsuyoshi to chase after them since this is his responsibility. However back at Eagle's HQ it was revealed that when used by a certain venomous spider it can use its saliva to become a flesh-eating bacteria (In this case, burning the skin and eating away at the body until nothing but bone remains) which is not good.
A while later he was in his lair that was hidden within Kokuun Mountains as he used one of the Zolders to eavesdropped on the Gorenger's plan and not to mention he somehow put some security cameras to spy on the team. He then commands the Zolders to change the target to 289, as he phones in on Akira (while using the recording of Peggy's voice) to fool him to go to that target as they managed to capture him. Once inside he shows the lair to his captive until he notices a transmitter on his vest so he commands the Zolders to remove the vest thus losing the signal for the Gorengers. Once they make sure it was okay the Iron Spider Mask began to torture Akira by using his whip and started whipping Akira just to spill the beans of the Gorenger's assignment. However one of Zolders asked the Iron Spider Mask to allow him torture Akira while he takes a break which the Iron Spider Mask happily obliges as the Zolder began whipping Akira and for this accomplishment the Iron Spider Mask present the Zolder a medal.
After the break he shows his experiment to Black Cross Führer and Gold Mask by combining this bacteria with a spider saliva he then demonstrates the capability of this germ by using one of his spider onto a Zolder guinea pig and the once the said spider bit the zolder it was reduced to nothing, but a skeleton. Once the experiment was complete he explained to his superior that he'll replicate the process in a culture tank and then strike the humans with a huge arachnid army. Back outside one of the Zolder has ultimately becomes Akira's executioner for Iron Spider Mask and Golden Mask, but not before secretly giving him a note regarding the base and with Aorenger preparing by wearing a bulletproof vest to survive the attack by the villain.
Back at his headquarters, the Iron Spider Mask was about to get the Isogenic Bacteria and the Yougen Germ vial the 4 Gorengers manages to take them back prevent the Iron Spider Mask from using it any further. Back outside of his destroyed lair the Iron Spider Mask was about to make a getaway until he was stopped by a suspicious Zolder who revealed to be none other than Tsuyoshi in disguise. The Iron Spider Mask tries to use his mini-spiders for combat, but Akarenger whips his Red Bute to his antenna to stop them. The team ultimately uses the Gorenger Hurricane to become a spider web, which Iron Spider Mask makes into his new home as it explodes.
