Godric Wyles (Kenzaki Ryuuichi in the Japanese dub), sometimes referred to simply as Wyles, is the secondary antagonist of Inazuma Eleven 2. He is the personal assistant of Astram Schiller who sought to betray his master and use the power of the Alius Meteorite to conquer the world under his world.

In the anime, he was voiced by Ken Narita and David Lee McInnis in the Japanese and English dubs respectively.

Biography[]

Godric Wyles had been shown as Astram Schiller's personal assistant, it is unknown on how or when he joined the Schiller Group. However, it can be insinuated that he joined for the sole purpose of gaining power via the Alius Crystal.

In the games, Wyles was first seen reporting to his master that Ray Dark and Royal Academy Redux had been defeated, but that their plan was already in motion. Schiller responds by lecturing Wyles on outer space, much to the latter's dismay.

Wyles is seen again in Fukuoka alongside Schiller who visited to donate to Fauxshore Jr High. He discouraged any connection between Coach Lina and Astram having the same surnames. After the match between Raimon and Genesis, Wyles calls Lina who reprimands him for having the Genesis players put Nathan Swift out of commission. It is also possible that he was the ambulance driver in disguise.

After Astram Schiller and Genesis' defeat, Wyles is seen overlooking them all and presses a button that activates a self-destruct system. He then closes a suitcase with Alius Crystal fragments and leaves with his henchmen, planning to advance on his own plans.

Wyles ends up turning the hospitalized Raimon players along with Thomas Feltd, Malcolm Night and Shadow Cimmeran over to his side, after preying on their weaknesses and desperation for more power. Wyles ends up forming the Dark Emperors and brainwashes the Inazuma Veterans to keep Raimon busy. He has his henchmen take Nelly, Silvia, Celia and the entire student body hostage. After the veterans snapped out of their brainwashing, Wyles and the Dark Emperors reveal themselves. He threatens to destroy Raimon Jr. High should Mark not take them on.

Wyles ends up creating an international broadcast that the Dark Emperors are under his control and thus is the entire world. Raimon ends up defeating their old friends and is able to convince them to see the light of Football again. Wyles is arrested afterwards and placed into custody, thus ending Alius Academy for good.

Personality[]

Wyles is a deceptive and ruthless man, who willingly preyed on the weaknesses of the former Raimon players. While initially appearing loyal towards Astram Schiller and Alius Academy, it is soon revealed that he is out for his own gain and hunger for power.

While appearing civil and well-mannered, Wyles has no problem with endangering the lives of others. As he set Alius Academy HQ to self-destruct and would abandon the Genesis and Raimon players to die there.

In the end, Godric Wyles is a power-hungry and despicable madman who wishes to rise above the world and take control of it.
