Yoob is a giant Yoshi-like creature created by the Shroobs that appears in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. He starts out as a large magenta and green egg, where it becomes an attraction that tourists can see for five coins. When Yoob hatches from the egg, he eats the Yoshis.
Its Evil Ranking[]
Its Villainous Deeds[]
- It terrorized Yoshis and eventually eats them, showing this to be cannibalism.
- It attacked and attempted to eat Kylie and Kamek Koopa; however, he spat them out.
- Upon getting to much bigger size, It attacked and devoured Baby Bowser and pairs of brothers.
- Within the beast's belly, a multitude of broken bones, including ribcages, lie scattered across the floor and immersed in its acid. Skulls of Koopas can be seen, along with dozens of their undead counterparts, who themselves carry bones from others. Several Bullies, whose fates remain unknown, also inhabit its interior. Each doorway is adorned with bones and skulls, illustrating Yoob's ravenous consumption that ultimately led to many deaths.
Why It Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- It was programmed to eat anyone who comes to cross paths with it, especially Yoshis so it suffers from moral agency issues.
- Overall, it does not have any personality with the only thing in its mind to eat, making it non-malicious as opposed to the Shroobs.
- It fails the heinous standards to many villains in the mario series who have similar resources yet have done worse.
