The One-Eyed Wizard is the main antagonist of the fictional story created by Rowley as seen in the book Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson's Excellent Adventure, a spinoff of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise.

He is an evil wizard who is upset that his brother Santa Claus received the important holiday of Christmas, while the Wizard received the obscure holiday of flag day. As revenge, the Wizard plotted to use the main protagonist, Roland, and lead him to a vacationing Santa Claus, kill both, and take over the holiday of Christmas.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • His main reason why he plotted to usurp his brother is for an incredibly petty reason, that Santa received a more popular holiday than him.
  • He manipulated Roland by hypnotizing Ms. Nettles (his neighbor) to lie to him that his mother was kidnapped and created a Blizzard to trick him that the White Warlock planned to create an eternal winter.
  • He lied to Roland and the gang about the White Warlock (who was actually Santa) and used Roland, as he was pure of heart, to head to Santa's summer home.
  • He tried to kill Santa Claus with his magic before he was pinned down by She'vana's arrows.
  • He attempted to use Righty, the replacement to Lefty, to suffocate Roland, his friends, and Santa to death before they were saved by Roland's mother.
  • He then attempted to kill Roland's mother before being stopped by Roland, who struck him with his sword, a sword which is able to turn people good.
  • While the Wizard quit any evil activities after he was reformed by Roland's sword, it is not genuine redemption due to the fact he was forcibly changed by the sword.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • His worst crime is "kill the heroes" villainy.
  • He's not taken seriously throughout parts of the story, his aforementioned backstory for example is played for comedic effect and detracts from his heinousness.
  • He fails the heinous standards to the Troll King, who had less resources than the One-Eyed Wizard yet managed to eat multiple pixies.
  • He genuinely cared about Lefty, the magic hand he created, as when Lefty died, The One-Eyed Wizard mourned his passing.
