The Mauler Twins are supporting antagonists in the Image Comics series Invincible and the secondary antagonists of the first season of its animated adaption of the same name. They're a duo of mad scientists who aren't actually twins, but rather clones of each other. They both claim to be the original one while stating that the other is a clone.
They are voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
Their Evil Ranking[]
Their Villainous Deeds[]
- They break into the White House
- They use a missile to cause a solar flare in hopes of breaking multiple satellites, so they can control them and use it to control Earth.
- During Chicken Pot Pie Night in prison, one of them tricks a security guard into giving him food, just so they can bash his face against the wall and use him to escape, then forces the other twin to admit he is a clone before busting him out.
- They kill several guards while breaking out of prison.
- One mercilessly uses the other as a human shield to fight off against an army of soldiers, causing his face to get blasted by a laser.
- They try to kill Robot when he betrays them and tries to turns them in.
- They ally themselves with Angstrom Levy and ask to have a dimension where they can rule as gods in return for helping him.
Why Don't They Stand Out?[]
- As they consistently die and are replaced throughout their villainous antics, they not only don’t stand out from each other, but also fail the heinous standards to Mr. Mauler who attempted the mass transmutation of infants in Kuwait with the same resources.
- They are generally quite affable as shown through their sympathy towards Robot when he was euthanised by his clone and their concern for Angstrom Levy after seeing the state of him following his failed experiment.
- They cared for one of the security guards and felt remorse for hurting him.
- They are constant comic relief in the otherwise serious show due to constantly bickering with each other about which one of them is a clone.
