Blockman is the secondary antagonist of the fanfic, One Last Escape, based on the role-playing game, Ao Oni. It is another Oni that lives in the mansion that serves as a subordinate to the Ao Oni to eat people whenever it is necessary, mainly when the Oni is tired of catching humans inside his mansion, to catch the humans with his high speed. However, in the story, he ultimately befriends Kana due to his attachment of her and as a result redeems himself and trying to help her friends escape the mansion. However, he gets eaten by the Oni when helping the heroes.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • Over the years, it is heavily implied that he assisted the Oni with his man-eating spree, whoever went inside his mansion, often catching them due to his fast speed.
  • As soon as he is introduced, he is ordered to kill Kana and Ryoba, when the Oni can't catch anyone but Hiroshi.

Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]

  • He massively suffers from Fridge Horror, as it is unknown how many victims he killed under the orders of the Oni and besides that, Blockman is bog-standard, only having 2 attempted kills, this makes him a kill-the-heroes villainy besides his Fridge Horror.
  • Fails the heinous standards to the Oni, who was confirmed to have devoured hundreds of people that ever set foot in his mansion.
  • He has some comedic moments, such as dashing into one direction, going after the key after Kana threw it downstairs and having a dog-like behavior.
  • He ends up redeeming himself after he gets attached to Kana and even helps the heroes find their way out.
  • His death is played for sympathy, as Kana breaks down in tears upon seeing Blockman getting slowly bitten in half by the Oni. His said fate also makes him a scapegoat in his final moments.
