Kasumi's Castle Quest is a side-scrolling platform game developed by Azumanga Interactive, published by Bandai Namco Games and co-published by Sega for the Bandai Extreme. The game features Kasumi Tōmine from Alien Nine.

The game is a hack of the 1989 Sega Genesis game Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle.

Gameplay[]

The player guides Kasumi through eleven stages by fighting and avoiding enemies and obstacles. Kasumi can jump, kick, crawl or punch enemies, causing them to explode into gold coins. New items and vehicles are gained by playing Rock, Paper, Scissors in one of the houses, including a Motorcycle, a small pedal-powered helicopter, a pogo stick and wizard cane which allows Kasumi to float in the air for a few seconds. One hit from any enemy causes Kasumi to die instantly.

Plot[]

Kasumi is told by her teacher and counsellor from the "Alien Party" Megumi Hisakawa to destroy an alien from a castle in China, before it invades her school and destroys it.
