History[]
Ultraman Tiga[]
Silvergon was a monster that dwelled in the mysterious Shishibara Forest, in a dimension between space and time. When a family found themselves lost in the monster's dimension, Silvergon stalked them hoping to feed on them. Due to its poor eyesight though, the monster couldn't track them, and eventually moved on. When the monster Gagi II found its way into the same dimension as the others, Silvergon was alerted to the invader's presence and prepared to fight. Silvergon immediately revealed its incredible strength by not only shattering Gagi's barrier, but it swiftly overpowered Gagi in battle, tanking a direct hit from Gagi's heat ray and tearing off the monster's whips with little effort. Finally, Silvergon killed Gagi II by mauling the monster's neck.
Shortly after his victory, Silvergon noticed that the family he was chasing after were escaping through the rainbow (the gateway out of his dimension) with GUTS's help. In hot pursuit, Silvergon followed after the escapees, but was met with opposition by Daigo and Rena. Unfortunately for the team, their weapons were worthless against the monster, who trampled their sherlock in his chase after the escapees. With Rena unconscious and time running out, Daigo transformed into Ultraman Tiga and he battled against Silvergon. Like with Gagi, Silvergon easily manhandled Tiga with little effort. Even after the ultra struck him with his Zepellion Ray, and switched to his Power-Type to get a physical advantage, Silvergon continued to overpower and mock him in their battle. However, once GUTS informed Tiga of Silvergon's poor eyesight, the ultra took advantage by timing his attacks at the right moment when the monster couldn't see him. Silvergon was quickly put at a disadvantage, and after piledriving the monster with his Tiga Head Crusher attack, Tiga flew up and struck at Silvergon with his Tiga Burning Dash attack, destroying Silvergon in a giant explosion.[The Mysterical Monsterland]
Ultraman Dyna[]
Silvergon was one of two monsters (the other being Shieldron), that was revived after being cloned by Professor Otomo of the Biotechnology Committee. The cloned monsters were used as test subjects in the doctor's plan to use Hanejiro's intelligence gene to control monsters to serve man. In addition, both monsters' genes were used to help revive and create Professor Otomo's own personal monster: Neosaurus. Clone Silvergon was first seen engaged in battle with Clone Shieldron, and after a short tussle between the two, Clone Silvergon murdered Clone Shieldron by continuously bludgeoning it with his tail. The monster then noticed that Super GUTS was watching nearby, and he attempted to crush them as well, but was frightened away by Asuka, Kodha, and Nakajima firing on his face with their weapons.
Later once Professor Otomo's plans were revealed, Clone Silvergon reappeared and attacked Asuka as he was rescuing Hanejiro. With no alternative, Dr. Ootomo released Neosaurus to protect his laboratory from being destroyed. Thanks to the doctor's enhancements, Neosaurus easily overpowered Clone Silvergon with its gargantuan strength, but without Hanejiro's intelligence gene, the mindless experiment wound up destroying the doctor's laboratory as well by hurling Clone Silvergon into it. Neosaurus then obliterated the cloned monster with its Homing Beam.[Intense Battle on Monster Island!]

King Silvergon was found roaming an unknown planet where he was endangering the populace of a race of Alien Fanegon. He then transformed into his Luna Miracle form and fired on King Silvergon with his Full Move Wave attack, turning the Monster docile. Now more calm, King Silvergon went home through a portal that was made by Ultraman Zero.

Notes[]
- Silvergon's suit was modified from the Shillzar suit, while his tail was made from modifying out of the large Gagi whips.
- Additionally, Clone Silvergon's modifications in the following series were that his horns and spines were painted black, his skin was painted white, and the red lining between the monster's ridges were painted blue.
- Silvergon was jokingly referred to as the "Heisei Red King" in "TV Magazine Special Edition Ultraman Tiga" at the time of his episode's airing.
- In his first episode's original script, Silvergon was set to "react to shiny objects", but this was changed to "react to moving objects" at the suggestion of Hiromi Muraishi, (the director of his episode).
- Silvergon's poor eyesight could also be an homage to the film, Jurassic Park, as the Tyrannosaurus of that film also could not see anyone that could hold still.
- The monster Goldras was originally planned to have been related to Silvergon due to their similar attributes and dialogue that was to be present in his episode. However, these references and revelation was ultimately cut from the episode.
