Beliarok (ベリアロク, Beriaroku) is the main weapon used by Ultraman Z Delta Rise Claw. A sentient weapon themed after Ultraman Belial, it was created from the space needle within Greeza's void when it came into contact with Geed's Belial factor.[1]
Later, as Z and Haruki began their travels in space, Beliarok would permanently partner itself up with Z, allowing Z to use it in his original form.
Personality[]
Despite not being the reincarnation of Ultraman Belial himself, Beliarok still possesses the original Belial's pride and arrogance. However, unlike Belial, Beliarok is more of a neutral character, preferring to side with whoever impresses it rather than being purely evil.
It is also fickle, as while it will allow anyone with an interesting ambition to wield it, if it ultimately finds their swordplay boring, those like the second Alien Barossa will promptly be abandoned by the Beliarok, and if Haruki isn't fused with Z, it will leave him for other users.
History[]
Ultraman Z[]
A dimensional rift in space was opened allowing Greeza to appear. Ultraman Geed returned to Haruki's Earth in order to seal the hole in space. As Geed was trapped inside the void, the space needle pricked his finger, drawing out the Belial factor. The Belial factor came in contact with the space needle which resulted in the Beliarok's creation.
When a second Alien Barossa stole the Beliarok after Z defeated Metsuboros, it briefly allowed the alien to wield it. However, it promptly abandoned the alien, finding its Final Break attack to be boring. Discovered by Shota Hebikura, it stayed with the disguised alien for a while after hearing his goal, but ultimately returned to Z and Haruki after seeing their resolve. Once again asking Haruki its question, Haruki's response that he wasn't sure what he wanted caused the Beliarok to say that Z's host was extremely green, but that made him extremely interesting.
In spite of its standoffish attitude, the Beliarok proved a loyal ally to Z, willingly helping it separate a Kemur from its unwilling host so Z/Haruki wouldn't claim an innocent life.
When Jugglus Juggler in the form of Five King attacked during the fight against the third Alien Barossa, the Beliarok refused to be picked up when Z dropped it , saying it had already cut Five King once before. Found by Yoko Nakashima and Sevenger, the sword introduced itself but refused to be picked up. However, some persuasion and reverse psychology allowed Yoko to use the Beliarok and King Joe STORAGE Custom's Leg Carrier for an improvised finisher.
During the final battle against Destrudos, the Beliarok unleashed all three of its finishers against the beast. When it fired the D4 Ray, the Beliarok attempted to reflect the beam, and when it proved to powerful, blew itself up to pierce the cannon's energy core. After Z won the battle and departed Earth, the Beliarok returned to him, declaring that it is immortal.
Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga[]
Belirok was caught in Bullton's wormhole and ended up in Ultraman Trigger's dimension with Ultraman Z and Haruki. It found its way back to Haruki, though unpleased with finding them to be pain. [Inter Universe] It later revealed that it was able to cross dimensions by slicing the dimension wall. This came as a surprise to Haruki as he had no method of return to his own universe. [The Propagating Invasion]
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad[]
As the New Generation Warriors arrived at the Monster Graveyard to battle Gina Spectre and Absolute Tartarus, the Beliarok was summoned as Ultraman Z quickly assumed Delta Rise Claw. However, it detected a familiar scent from Ultraman Geed Royal Mega Master and immediately abandoned Z, citing that Geed was more interesting without Haruki's involvement.
As the rest of the New Generation fused into Ultraman Reiga, the Beliarok returned to Z to assist him against a Mecha and Cyber Mecha Alien Baltan, saying it figured Z could use the help. However, a sudden attack after the battle was over allowed Ultraman Belial to steal the sword.
The Beliarok escaped during the battle on Planet Blizzard, returning to Z and upgrading Delta Rise Claw into the more powerful Deathcium Rise Claw.
Functionality[]
Finishers[]
- Deathcium Slash (デスシウムスラッシュ, Desushiumu Surasshu): Z slashes the opponent's body with the Beliarok while engraving a "Z".
- Deathcium Claw (デスシウムクロー, Desushiumu Kurō): Two giant claws are summoned to attack the enemy when the Beliarok is impaled to the ground. This attack can also be used to restrain an enemy.
- Deathcium Fang (デスシウムファング, Desushiumu Fangu): A giant copy of Belial's head is summoned, biting down on an enemy.
- Deathcium Splitter (デスシウムスプリッター, Desushiumu Supurittā): If the target has fused with another being, the Beliarok can separate them.
- Final Break (ファイナルブレイク, Fainaru Bureiku): Energy projectiles launched by Alien Barossa.
- Sevenger Wave-Riding Special Slash (セブンガー波乗りスペシャルスラッシュ, Sebungā Naminori Supesharu Surasshu): A three-way combination attack between Beliarok, Sevenger, and King Joe STORAGE Custom. Sevenger rides on King Joe's Leg Carrier at high speed wielding the Beliarok. Once at speed, Sevenger delivers a heavy slash from the Beliarok, critically damaging the opponent.
- Zestium Death Burst (ゼスティウムデスバースト, Zesutiumu Desu Bāsuto): An empowered Zestium Beam used when Ultraman Z transforms into Deathcium Rise Claw. This technique requires Z to be holding the Beliarok in his right hand. While performing the technique, the Zestium energy takes on a reddish color, similar to Belial's Deathcium Shoot.
Other Abilities[]
- Reversal: The Beliarok can swallow enemy attacks and return them to the enemy. However, this ability does have an upper limit.
- Immortality: The Beliarok was able to regenerate from being blown up by the D4 Ray.
- Dimensional Travel: The Beliarok can cut open pathways between dimensions.
