Trivia[]
- In this episode, Mirai officially reveals his true identity as Ultraman Mebius to his friends in GUYS.
- According to the main director, Tomoki Sano, the decision for Mirai to publicly disclose his identity as Ultraman Mebius was not originally planned. This idea emerged around the conclusion of the first season of the series. While there were differing opinions on this matter, Sano believes that this decision was ultimately the right one.[1]
- Initially, there was a proposal to have only Ryu know Mirai's identity. However, considering that "friendship" is a central theme of the narrative, it would not be appropriate for only two characters to share this secret while the other team members remained unaware.
- Sano and writer Masanao Akahoshi engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the reasons for Mirai's need to return to the Land of Light. Sano stated that it is essential to clearly articulate the absolute reasons for Mirai's return at the beginning of the narrative; otherwise, the audience will struggle to connect emotionally with the story. Furthermore, if the reasons for his return are framed as increasingly challenging, the emotional impact will be amplified when Mirai is ultimately allowed to stay on Earth.
- This episode, along with "Day of Farewell", was featured in Ultraman Retsuden episodes 98-99.
