Alien Zamppa was an alien that appeared in episode 35 of the TV series, Ultraseven.

Etymology[]
The Alien Zamppa get their name from Zampanò, the main character in Federico Fellini's 1954 movie, La Strada.
History[]
Ultraseven[]
An explosion was reported at the TDF moon base with the TDF V3 Station Commander Kurata detecting this first. UG Commander Kiriyama and Dan Moroboshi were sent to investigate. While piloting the Ultra Hawk to the moon, Commander Kiriyama and Kurata remembered the times when they battled Alien Zamppa from the solar system 3 years ago. Suddenly, the Ultra Hawk No.1 they were riding was somehow sabotaged in mid journey with its communication waves blocked. Fortunately, they managed to use the emergency rockets to reach the Moon Base safely.
Commander Kurata and Shirahama, his assistant, rode a lunar crawler to the Ultra Hawk landing site only to found out that the vehicle somehow damaged, at the same time arrived at the TDF Moon Base ruins. While both men scavenged through it, Kurata realised that Shirahama was trying to kill him from behind and as they fought with Kurata pulled his oxygen tube. But the seemingly dead man laughed as he revealed himself to be Alien Zamppa in possession of Shirahama's body (as he had died two days prior), whom wanted revenge for their lost battle against Kurata and Kiriyama three years prior. When Dan and Kiriyama approached, Zamppa threatened him to put on an act or else he would be killed, but this failed as the Ultra Guard duo quickly saw through him and killed the alien. However, the dying Alien Zamppa managed to get Petero into action instead. Terror on the Moon

- Suit actor: Kunio Suzuki
- Shirahama's actor: Jiro Tsuruga
- The only part of Alien Zamppa body to be made in suit was his hands and his head as his whole body was seen wearing a spacesuit.
- In Daiji Kazumine's Ultraseven manga (1968), Alien Zamppa immobilized Ultraseven by his Telekinetic Remote Controller, assisting Petero's sandstorm attack on the helpless Ultra Hero.
