Nuclear introns help unravel the diversification history of the Australo-Pacific Petroica robins
Abstract
Five nuclear loci sequenced for eleven of the fourteen species of Petroica. Few shared nuclear alleles between Australian and New Zealand species. Many shared nuclear alleles among species/lineages in the southwest Pacific. Species trees offer new perspectives on diversification of Australo-Pacific robins.
