In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Mystic Library is a library serving the Yōkai. The Mystic Library is the primary setting of the episode of the same name.
Description[]
The Mystic Library's actual location is not made clear, and it is not shown on the guide maps of the Hidden City seen at the beginnings of "Donnie vs. Witch Town", "Raph's Ride-Along", "Hidden City's Most Wanted" and "Bad Hair Day". But the Mystic Library is accessible from at least one mystic portal inside the New York Public Library. Inside, the Mystic Library is extremely vast, resembling a entire indoor city of highrise bookshelves. It also has exotic gravity wells, with certain walls and ceilings that can freely be walked upon without falling. There is a much smaller kiddie room, where children and other noisy patrons must stay to avoid disrupting the library's quiet reading environment.
The Mystic Library's librarian is the Bat Librarian, who sits atop a high pedestal in the library's primary chamber. She oversees an enormous staff of Hush-Bats, special security Yōkai which perch beneath every one of the library's many indoor skywalks. These Hush-Bats immediately and indiscriminately whisk away any patrons who make a noise louder than a whisper, and escort them to the kiddie room.
