Synopsis[]

The Turtles are riding in April’s van with her at the wheel when she calls their attention to a radio newscast. The story is that service stations across the city are reporting that their storage tanks have been mysteriously emptied of all gasoline. Raphael says that maybe if there’s less gas there will be fewer people driving. April tells him it’s too late because there’s a traffic jam dead ahead.

The culprit responsible for the traffic jam is a huge mutant muscle car-man called Motorhead. He is calling for the motor vehicles of the world to unite and has taken control of several vehicles, bringing them to life. His stated purpose is to do away with speed limits, to abolish emissions test and pollution controls. Motorhead says it’s time to fill the Earth’s atmosphere with glorious carbon monoxide.

Michaelangelo says that it sounds like Motorhead could use a serious tune-up. The Turtles draw their weapons and face off with Motorhead, telling him that he’d better surrender. Instead, Motorhead calls for the cars to start their engines and run the Turtles down.

The Turtles dodge the cars and try hitting them with their weapons, but other than Leonardo slashing tires, they make little headway. Raphael says it’s time to pretend they’re in a rodeo. He leaps on top of a car and reaches in to grab the steering wheel. Raph proceeds to steer the car directly into a brick wall.

An angry Motorhead begins sputtering and Raph taunts him to spit it out. Instead, Motorhead winds down and the Turtles realize he’s run out of gas. All of the heavy engine revving has caused the other cars to use up their fuel as well. The Turtles all laugh as a meter maid arrives and begins writing tickets, as all of the cars are double-parked.
