The Ultimate Woody figure with its "toy mode" face
The Ultimate Woody figure is a toy released by Medicom in 2015 for a limited time to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Toy Story. Stated to be the most movie accurate Woody figure, this doll stands about 15" high in the same scale as the films, features a wired armature, much like the Original 1995 Poseable Woody, swappable facial features, and poseable eyes. Though movie accurate in terms of appearance, the figure is poseable rather than floppy and ragdoll-like, and does not feature a functional pull string. Other inaccuracies include a golden belt buckle and spurs, as the film features them in a solid pale yellow. Around the time of release, the Ultimate Woody was priced around $500 and since then, the product has discontinued.
Unlike other Woody dolls, the Ultimate Woody figure is made of much more expensive, and by extension, more movie-accurate materials, with boots made from a softer material, a hat with polyvinyl rather than string sewn in, and a real gem embroidered into the holster. This figure is also the only scale replica out there that features a movie-accurate "toy mode" face, with a closed mouth smile and symmetrical eyebrows.
