Umimaru (うみまる) is a member of Gourmet University and a famous economist.

Appearance[]

He is a man of average height with slanted eyes, a prominent brow, black hair combed to the side, small eyebrows, a small thin mustache and he has what appears to be a light blue tattoo going down his left eye. His outfit consists of a purple business suit with a light blue undershirt and a red and black checkered tie.

Personality[]

Umimaru appears to be quite serious and analytical, and seemed to be one of the few who did not show extreme fear when Zebra was released, however he took it just as serious as every economist did at the time.

History[]

Mellow Cola Arc[]

He was interviewed after Zebra's discharge and elaborated more on it, saying that if it were true that he was discharged, the world will witness an economic loss worth a quadrillion yen, and ten developed nations will disappear from the world.

Anime and Manga Differences[]

In the anime, he was given the name Manei (マネイ, Manei) due to that his name had not been revealed at the time the episode was made. His real name would later on be revealed in Volume 29.5.
In the anime, it was Tina who interviewed him.
