Malisman (メリスマン, Merisuman), known as the Gourmet Literary Master (グルメ文豪, Gurume Bungō), is a Gourmet Living Legend and a member of the 0th Biotope.

Appearance[]

She is a beautiful woman with dark skin (light in the anime), pink hair and has a mole near the upper right corner of her mouth. She has a very voluptuous body as well as long legs. Her outfit consists of a long sleeved shirt that emphasizes her bust and stopes just above her navel. She also wears a skirt that goes about mid thigh. Despite her apparently young appearance, Malisman is surprisingly quite old, being over 216 years of age.

Personality[]

Malisman seems to be a wise and knowledgeable person due to her nickname. She seems to despise obscene words, as she was the only one who was bothered by Guemon repeating "Chinchin" several times. Despite being usually very collected, she has a wild side as well, as seen when she shouted together with the rest of the 0th Biotope.

Powers and Abilities[]

Malisman is assumed to be strong because she is able to enter the Gourmet World and for being a member of the 0th Biotope. Even more remarkably, she is one of the Gourmet Living Legends, with her specialty being writing. Sakura stated that, due to her skills in literature, she has the important duty of conveying the taste of Acacia's Full Course Menu to the people, which is bound to be an impressive feat. She also appears to age slowly like most individuals with Gourmet Cells, being over 200 years of age but having a body that is still in its youthful prime.

Bubble Fruit Arc[]

She and the other 0th Biotope members are called to a meeting by Ichiryu. When Guemon doesn't notice Chin Chinchin's absence and later asks where he is, she comments on how he keeps spacing out too much and tells him not to say "Chinchin". She then hears about the leaking of CENTER and the future war.^[1]

Cooking Festival Arc[]

Malisman and Sakura are seen walking nearby Section H, Developmental Fever Bridge, in order to acquire Acacia's drink, ATOM. Malisman is disappointed that her last job will involve a battle instead of writing, but Sakura replies she has the duty to inform the people about the flavor of Acacia's Full Course Menu and is sure it will be a masterpiece. She thanks him and questions whether he wants a special recognition, but two Bishokukai Head Chefs, Boneless and Kariu, interrupt her, stating her book will never come out. Preparing for battle, Malisman claims the two of them would lack charm as book characters.^[2]

Trivia[]

• Her skin in the manga is shown to be a dark in color, however on the cover and in the anime she is shown as having a lighter skin tone.
