The Honey Prison Guards are the correctional officers and security of Honey Prison and as such they are responsible for maintaining order within the prison and keeping the prisoners locked up. They are led by the Captain of the Guard, Pricom.

Appearance[]

All the guards wear the standard Honey Prison guard uniform which is a simple dark green military-esque outfit which includes a small dark green cap and boots, and all of the guards carry rifles at their backs.

Powers and Abilities[]

As the guards of Honey Prison, they are apparently fearless men who show no fear in the presence of criminals or the dangerous Execution Beasts. They all carry rifles on their backs which they are presumably skilled with, and they are also responsible for any security and Gourmet ID checks which are required to pass the 12 1-kilometer long drawbridges needed to reach the Gate of the Underworld. However all the guards seen appear to mostly be normal humans of average physiques or slight portliness and show no signs of having Gourmet Cells.

History[]

Melk Stardust Arc[]

Some guards were first seen outside of Honey Prison's entrance with their Captain Pricom as he welcomed the newest prisoners to their life sentence and later also welcomed the arrival of Ichiryu and Yosaku.

Mellow Cola Arc[]

Some guards were also present outside the prison's entrance accompanying Vice Warden Ohban as he welcomed Toriko and Komatsu. They remained mostly silent as Ohban gave a few brief explanations to the two about the prison and they then parted ways with the Vice Warden at the reception area to join the rest of the guards.
