Anaya Imanu is an engineer and good friend of Lara Croft appearing in Tomb Raider: Legend.

Anaya Imanu is a civil engineer working in impoverished areas of South America. She's a friend of Lara's dating back to their days at university, and she was with Lara during the tragedy near Paraíso, Peru. She has since led a distinguished career of her own, routinely crossing paths with Lara.[2]
While working in La Paz, Bolivia, Anaya heard a rumor of a Stone Dais in Bolivia. Knowing that Lara is searching for them, she informed her of this rumor.
Later, Lara and Anaya rendezvous in the town square in Peru but mercenaries attack the village. Lara gets rid of them while Anaya gets away in her jeep, but is tailed by more mercenaries in the desert. She's eventually saved when Lara kills all of the mercenaries during the chase. They travel to the dig site in Paraíso that Lara's team went through years ago and Lara explores the caverns.
