Steed Dirkly is the quartenary antagonist from Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry. He is voiced by Jeff Bennett. He was eliminated from the race after he was fed to some baby fish by a Monstrous Mermaid after his vehicle sank into the sea.

Steed Dirkly was first seen in his tent looking himself on a mirror while his crew are preparing his car for the race, Biff Buzzard and Buzz Blister approaches him to have him interview and he immediately introduces himself, while his crew push the two aside.
As the race begin, Steed notices Soccer Mom putting lipstick who then smiles at him as it to say "How do I Look?" and he smiles back saying "Good.", before notice Grammy smiling evilly at him, to his dismay. Then the race starts Steed notices some cameramen recording him, with the former informing to watch out there's a lamppost ahead and they crash into it. Grammy manages to take the lead, much to Steed's anger and tries to take the lead, Squirty Grammy's pet begin throwing objects at him (including the other racers, Tom and Jerry) and they avoid them with Tom managing to get hit in the head by one of it, to Grammy's delight. However They soon find themselves on a heavy traffic, but Steed manages to get through with the others following too. As they approach Mexico, Steed and Grammy are still fighting over the lead, Squirty barks menacingly at Steed only the former to hand him some dog biscuit, causing Grammy to lose control of her car, nearly falling off the cliff, but manage to calm him down. Steed manages to reach Mexico and the finish line, he approaches Biff and Buzz, who's holding the key for the new house. Biff refuse to hand the key to him saying they something important to hear, but he snatches it and is promptly run over by Grammy who takes the key, but Biff and Buzz take it back thanks to Jerry. To Steed, Tom, Jerry and the other's surprise, the race is been extended to the jungle amazon and they all made back to their cars to continue on.
When the racers finally reach the amazon jungle with Soccer Mom eliminated in the race due to getting her vehicle sank on a quicksand thanks to Tom, Steed tries to get the key from Biff and Buzz believing the race is over, with them explain to them that the race is been extended to Antarctica, which they proceed. While sailing across the ocean, Steed's car sinks due to technical problems, he encounters a mermaid begging it to help him, but it turns out to be a monstrous mermaid and has him fed to it's baby fish.
Trivia[]
- Steed Dirkly is the only racer that wasn't eliminated by Tom, Biff or Buzz Blister. Dr. Professor and Gorthan were eliminated because Biff and Buzz intervened while Soccer Mom and Granny were eliminated due to Tom attempts to hamper Jerry. Steed's vehicle sank due to a technicality and he is devoured by monstrous mermaids.
