The nameless Antique Shop Owner (骨董屋店長, Kotsutōya Tenchō) is the main antagonist of Girl Gun Lady.

He is the game master of the Girl Gun Fight tournament who created the dimension known as Girl Gun System.

Character History[]

In Episode 9, it was revealed that he is the game master of the Girl Gun Fight tournament. Lady Commander Amatsu's Alpha Tango won the previous season of Girl Gun Fight, which resulted in them being transported to the secret warehouse in the antique shop in Girl Gun System. There they would run into the game master which he would sacrifice them in order for Amatsu to become human.

It was also revealed that he was the announcer of the Girl Gun Fight matches, in which he uses a feminine voice.

Eventually, he was defeated by Koharu Tachibana after she fired the Full Armed Plastic Mode Girl Gun at him at full power, but not before promising to her and Amatsu (as Matsuko Kadowaki) that he will "return to this planet".

Personality[]

The Antique Shop Owner is a collector of the Girl Gun Lady Collection created by the legendary "Mr. M".

He appears to be human, but the technology he has to create and run Girl Gun System hints an alien origin. It is not helping by his response to Fuyumi Usui trying to kill him: "Earthlings are such cruel creatures..." He also believes that players without commanders leading them are pathetic and very unattractive.

Before he was revealed as the game master, majority of the girls that received the Girl Guns and Lady Commanders from him believed he was strange and creepy and that he was hiding something in his shop related to the Gun Girl Fight tournament.

The Game Master[]

Episode 9 would reveal the truth about Gun Girl Fight: the Antique Shop Owner is really the game master of this tournament. He collects the bodies of all the players that have died during the battles and displays them in his warehouse. At the end of Episode 6 and the beginning of Episode 7, Koharu Tachibana and Akiho Inada successfully made it to the antique shop in Girl Gun System. There, they would discover all the girls who died displayed in the warehouse. Chizuru Mizuno and Masami Nakazaki were among them, along with the previous Alpha Tango (Sakura Konno, Sumire Kishi, and Ran Shiori) and a few others. While all this was happening, the Owner approached Natsuna Usui's dead body and dragged her away, coming to the conclusion that Natsuna would be added to his collection of dead players to display. It is unknown whether he is human or not but he talks like he is something not human.

Girl Gun System - A computer that is the running force of its eponymous world. It can manipulate the space-time continuum in the real world.

Powers and Abilities[]

Hypnosis - With a snap of his fingers, the Owner can put his targets into a deep sleep.
Body Control - The Owner can control the body of a Lady Commander with ease.
Force Field - The Owner can surround himself with a force field, protecting him against incoming fire.
Energy Blasts - The Owner can project red energy blasts at his targets with his fingers.

The Antique Shop Owner is portrayed by Gaku Hamada (濱田岳, Hamada Gaku), who had previously portrayed Tsutomu Niiboshi in Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna & Ultraman Gaia: The Battle in Hyper Space.
