Winners - Challenge #57 - Colours

Oops! I'm a bit late with this today. I completely lost track of the days. You guys really had fun with the splash of colour challenge and we had cards in all styles from shabby, many layers, through to ultra CAS. Without further ado, here are the winners:

WINNER

I had to share more photos of this wonderful 21st birthday card.
We are all familiar with those options that come up on the PC - here's a very clever take.
So much detail and a brilliant use of the accent colour of blue!

HONOURABLE MENTIONS
(in order of submission)

There's so much detail on this card.
Love the way the highlight of red is on the lighthouse, frame and some of the words.
Great work!

Another great use of red as the splash of colour.
Such a perfectly CAS and perfectly masculine card.
Kathy also does the inside and envelope to match - check it out!

This time we have a splash of green.
Love the clean and crisp layout and the patterns on the papers.
Great guy card!

Another card using green - and it's perfect as the background for a football themed card!
Love the grungy effect in the background and the die cut ball and player.
Great work.

Congratulations to you all. Do pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blogs.

Before I go, just a quick reminder that you still have time to join in with our current challenge of featuring ARCHITECTURE - TMR#58 on your masculine projects! Deadline for submission is midnight (BST) Tuesday 25th April, that's 7.00pm EDT in the States! Go for it!!

Challenge #58 - Theme

Time is flying by this year - we're already well into April and spring has arrived, whether or not the weather agrees! It is also time for our new challenge. For the next couple of weeks we have a fun theme for your masculine projects - ARCHITECTURE - TMR#58. It's up to you how you choose to interpret this. You could simply focus on buildings, or parts of buildings, or famous architects, or just architectural texture. If it's not obvious the way you've gone, just tell us! Have fun!

Here are some inspiration pieces from the Design Team:

Winners Challenge #56 - Use Wood

Well you certainly pulled out all the stops for this challenge and we were all delighted with your different ways of getting a wooden element onto a project. So difficult to choose winners but we've thought carefully and made our decisions. Here we go:

WINNER

Such a super idea to have a porthole in a wooden fishing vessel with a view to the sea beyond.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS
(in order of submission)

A beautiful woodgrain background showing off a woodland scene and we loved the addition of a wooden button.

#30 Vikki

We loved the simplicity of this card and how striking the die cut white elements looked peeping through that fabulous woodgrain paper.

Such a brilliant idea to hang cups from a wooden board and the sentiment quote really pops against it too.

Congratulations to you all. Please pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blogs.
Just a quick reminder that our current challenge #57 is to use BLACK, WHITE & A SPLASH OF ONE OTHER COLOUR on your masculine projects. You have plenty of time to join in, the deadline is midnight Tuesday 11th April.
