Heartfelt Creations New Release - Woof

Welcome to my little corner of the world!

Today is Inspiration Wednesday for Heartfelt Creations!
This is the week we unveil our new release -
Pampered Pooch Collection!

HCPC 3760 - Paw-fect Pooches Cling Stamp Sett
HCD1-7116 - Paw-fect Pooches Die Set
TSMP900 Memento Dye Ink Pad - Tuxedo Black
159723 Designer  - Dries Clear Adhesive
352854 Metal Glue Tip - Art Institute
HCST401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit
KSU-173842  Scor-Pal Measuring and Scoring Board
DDots -  Double 3 D Foam  Dots

Rich  brown heavy card stock,  beige card stock, X-press It  (or any Copic Compatible card stock),  Copic markers, Colored Pencils, double sided tape and heart shaped sequins.

  • Cut a rich colored heavy  brown card stock at  5 1/2 inches x 8 8nches.  Scor  the paper at 4 inches to create a top-fold card.   Cut beige card stock at 5 1/4 inches x 3 3/4 inches.   Cut another beige layer for the inside of the card so you can write a personal note.    Adhere the beige layer to the top of the card using double sided tape.

  • Stamp the row of adorable little pups from Paw-fect Pooches Cling Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Dye Ink and Copic Compatible white paper.   Stamp the Bone on Copic Compatible paper.   The sentiment "woof" was stamped on the bone.    The pooch images and bone were colored using Copic  Alcohol Ink Markers.     I used C1, C3, C6, E30, E33 and E35.   I wanted to add more texture to the images so I used some dark grey and dark brown colored pencils to the darkest shadows.  I love adding extra texture but if you try this, make certain to apply the colored on top of your Copic or alcohol ink markers and not under the markers.   You don't want a waxy build-up on your marker nibs.

  • The pooches and bone were cut with the coordinating die cuts.   I used a large ball tip from the Flower Shaping Kit to lightly apply a circular pressure on the underside of the head, body parts and ends on the bone to add some dimension.    I adhered the pooches to the card with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and added some Copic green with my markers for the grass.  I like to use both the flicking and dotting technique to create grass.   I used G17, G21, G40, G45.   I used the Designer Adhesive to add the brown shadow of the bone to the card stock.   I popped up the colored layer of the bone using foam dots for dimension.  I read comments where our viewers would like to see some simple cards that can be mailed easily.   Although the bone has dimension,  This card will go through the mail but you will need to create a custom envelope.

  • The final touch is to add heart shaped sequins to the card using the Dries Clear Adhesive.   The sequins were perfect because.... who doesn't love little pooches!    Woof!
I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I do!

Heartfelt Creations Lavender Rose Tag - For My Friend

MAHALO from Hawaii!   I am having a wonderful vacation on the gorgeous island of Maui.  I will you could all be here with me!.

Today is Heartfelt Creations' Wednesday Inspiration Day!
Today we are showcasing the Blushing Rose Collection!

I love tags and so I created a tag that can also be placed on a card base
and used as a card if you prefer!

Eyelet Oval DieHCD1-776

Other Products
120 lb. white card-stock, violet card-stock,  X-Press It Blending Card-Stock, paper trimmer, embossing/die machine, Misti Stamping Pad,  sponge dauber, grey pearls, oval decorative nesting die in two sizes, Copic Alcohol Ink Markers - (BV00, BV11, BV17, G21, G24 YG61, YG63), 70% alcohol for background blending, water brush,  purple Multiliner and nested oval die.

  • The Blushing Rose Stem Cling Stamp Set was stamped twice and the sentiment was stamped once  on X-Press It Blending Card Stock.  The image was colored using Copic Alcohol Ink Markers.  I used BV00, BV11, BV17, G21, G24, YG61 and YG63.   The sentiment background was marbleized  using G21 and BV00  with 70% alcohol.   I usually apply this with a brush or I put alcohol in a designated water brush and touch the tip to the various colors to create a marbleized look.  I applied some dots with a purple liner pen.

  • The rose Stems were cut using the Blushing Rose Stem Die.   The base of the tag was die cut with the Eyelet Oval Die.   I used petite nesting oval die for the remaining layers as shown in the picture.    The designer paper was selected from the Blushing Rose paper Collection.   The edges where lightly sponged with Memento LuLu Lavender Ink.  Designer Adhesive - Clear was applied to the edges of the sentiment layer.   Prills (I Cannot Tell A Lilac) were applied.

  • The layers were adhered using dimensional dots.    The foam dots in between each layer give the tag some great dimension and interest. The Blushing Rose Stem images were applied to the top and bottom of the tag.    The card was embellished with dark grey pearls.

  1. This tag also makes a great focal image that can be adhered to a card - It's not only fun but versatile!

Thank you so much for stamping by and don't forget to check out my team mates fabulous creations!
They can be found on our Heartfelt Creations Blog or my sidebar!

Be happy, safe and come back soon!

White card-stock, 8 x 10 inch canvas, twine,  decorative brad, multi-sized white pearls, glue gun, heat tool, embossing/die machine, mini mister, paper trimmer, palate knife, mixed media sponge,  embossing powder - black fine detail, clear and white gesso and texture paste.  Stencils -Mini Moving Vines stencil, Mini Organic Matter stencil.

Instructions
Prep the surface and sides of an 8x10 inch canvas with white gesso.  Using texture paste, use the following stencils - Dots, Mini Moving Vines, Mini Organic Matter.   Allow to air dry or use heat tool to speed up the process.

While the texture paste is drying, Stamp the roses using Dusty Concord and the Mini Floret petals with Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.  The sentiment was stamped with embossing ink and fine detail black embossing powder.  The sentiment was heat set.    The lavender flowers were sponged with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and the yellow flowers were sponged using Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.     Emma Lou has a great video on shaping and assembling  roses HERE.

Color was applied to the canvas using 3D Stamp Paint.   I used Magenta Metallic, Moss Green Metallic and Gold.   I placed a small amount on my work mat and  worked some spritzed water into the mixture.   I applied the color as shown in the picture.   I like to use foam brushes for this part.   Don't forget to get good coverage on the sides.    Allow to dry.  The sentiment was adhered and the back and edges sealed with clear gesso.

All chipboard was covered with white gesso.   More 3-D Stamp Ink was applied after the gesso dried.
The chipboard was adhered with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.   Prills from the Bright Ideas 12 pack were applied to the canvas as shown.  I used You Had Me At Yellow,  Third Place and I Cannot Tell a Lilac.

The canvas was embellished with the roses,  pearls, twine and a decorative brad.

120 lb. white card-stock, green card-stock, yellow card-stock, paper trimmer,
embossing/die machine, Misti Stamping Pad, double sided tape,
Wink of Stella - Clear,
Copic Alcohol Ink Markers:

Y000, Y00, Y02, YR 24, G40, G43, YG63, G28

Create a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch top fold card base.   Cut the base layer from  green card-stock at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.  Cut yellow card-stock at 5 x 5 inches.   Select the designer paper from the Blushing Rose paper Collection as shown in the picture.    Adhere the layers as shown.   I repeated the process for the inside of the card.  This is an optional step.

The Blushing Rose Swirl was stamped on X-Press It.  You can use any Copic compatible paper if you are using alcohol ink markers or paper for Colored Pencils if that is your ink of choice.   The image was colored with the following Copic Markers - Y000, Y00, Y02, YR 24, G40, G43, YG63, G28

The image was die cut with the Blushing Rose Swirls Die.   I also cut the image twice using green card-stock.  The solid green image was adhered to the card.  The second green image was adhered to the  back of the colored Rose Swirl .   This adds extra strength for the "double-cut" technique.   The image was posed up with dimensional foam dots.   The dark green under the image not only adds dimension but it adds a shadow.

For embellishment, Wink of Stella was applied to the green leaves and rim of the roses.   The "Get Well Wishes" sentiment was cut from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.

Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose New Release

It's Heartfelt Creations New Release Day!
Today, I get to showcase the Blushing Rose Collection!
   I love this collection!
I love that with our collection last month and this month,
one can create so many different types of flowers with them!   You can layer them up for super big dimensional roses or you can make them single layer and they can resemble so many other types of  flowers!  It's all in how you shape them!
The possibilities are endless!

I have to share my news with you.

I just retired after working as a Registered Nurse for 46 years!
I am still in shock and trying to get accustomed to the flow of my days!
I also want to share that I got a beautiful retirement bouquet from my co-workers.
Isn't it gorgeous?

And now -  for our new release!
I created this mixed media card just for this occasion!

White 120 lb. card-stock,  teal colored card-stock,  glass bead gel, mini mister, paper trimmer, embossing/die machine, double sided tape  Colored Pencils: Red Poppy, Crimson Lake, Dark Green, Green Grass, Lime Peel, Canary yellow, White.

Heavy white card-stock was cut at  5 1/2 x 11 inches.  The paper was scored and folded at 5 1/2 inches to create a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch top-fold card.      Teal card-stock was cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.  A light colored designer paper was cut at 5 x 5 inches.

3 D Lime Green Stamp Paste was applied with a sponge brush to the designer paper  in order to create a background for the dimensional flowers.   I didn't stir it much and was able to create a teal color that matched my teal layer paper.    Glass bead gel was drizzled on top of the background.  Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter was lightly sprinkled on top of the Glass Bead Gel and allowed to dry.

The flower swirl stamp from  the Blushing Rose Swirls Cling Stamp Set was stamped twice on light weight white card-stock.   The image was colored with the following colored pencils -  Red Poppy, Crimson Lake, Dark Green, Green Grass, Lime Peel, Canary yellow, White,  The flowers were cut with Blushing Rose Swirls Die.

The flowers were shaped using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.   Emma Lou has provided a wonderful video on flower shaping HERE

Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Collection - Mixed Media Lavender Rose Card

Hello, my friends and Welcome!

I would love to share another Heartfelt Creations card I created using the Classic Rose Collection.
I used some of the gorgeous designer paper to make some quilling strips and accented with prills.

HCPC - 270  Classic Rose Designer Paper Collection
HCPC  3752  Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set
HCD1 - 7110  Classic Rose Die
HCPC  3735   Classic Rose Vines Cling Stamp Set
ANC 822   I Cannot Tell a Lilac Prills
HCST1 - 401  Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit
159723  Designer Dries Clear Adhesive
352854  Meal Tip for Adhesive
173842  Scor-Pal Measuring and Scoring Board
SMPOO1  Stamping Mat Pad
TSMP - 900  Tuxedo Black Dye Ink Pad
TSMP - 504  LuLu Lavender Memento  Dye Ink Pad

Heavy weight white card stock, light weight white card stock, X-Press It  card stock,  dark purple card-stock, green card stock, sponge dauber, quilling tool (or a pencil), oval die 2 sizes, paper trimmer and Copic Alcohol Ink : BVOOOO, BV00, BV04, BV08, G12, YG61, YG63.

Create a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch white card base.  Cut card purple card-stock base layer at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches and reserve the rest for the focal image mat.    Select the lavender designer paper from the Classic Rose Collection.   Size the designer paper at 5 x 5 inches.

Stamp Classic Rose Vines Cling Stamp Set on Copic Compatible paper.  I used X-Press It Blending Card Stock.  Color the image with the ink of your choice.   I used Copic Alcohol Ink Combo's BVOOOO, BV00, BV04, BV08, G12, YG61, YG63.  A marbleized background was created with BV0000, BV00, G12 and 70% alcohol in a water brush.   White highlights were added using opaque white ink.   The image was cut using an oval die.   A purple mat was cut using a slightly larger die.  The focal image and mat layer were adhered together.

Strips from the reserved designer paper were cut in strips.   Loose scrolls were formed using a quilling tool but you can roll it around a small cylindrical tool.

The Classic Rose Cling Stamp was stamped on lightweight white card stock using Memento Lu Lu Lavender Dye Ink Pad.   For me, 65#  paper works well for flower petals.  It is pliable and easy to shape.   The  petals were die cut using the   Classic Rose Die.  The petals were sponged using  Lu Lu Lavender Memento Dye Ink.   I like to leave some white showing for highlights.    The petals were lightly misted with water on the underside and shaped using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Emma Lou has a wonderful video that shows how to shape dimensional roses.  It can be viewed HERE.

Stamp and die cut the rose leaves and vine from green card stock.   Shape the leaves using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Adhere the layers as shown in the picture.    Adhere the vine with leaves, matted focal image and quilled loose scrolls.  Apply Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the inside of the scrolls and sprinkle  the Prills - I Cannot Tell a Lilac Prills.   Check out the close-up photo.  Aren't the prills gorgeous?   Allow the adhesive to dry and then apply the roses for your final embellishment.

Heartfelt Creations - Classic Rose Card with Butterfly

Welcome!  I am so glad you stopped by!

It is time for another project from week 3 of Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Collection!

I hope you are enjoying this collection as much as I am.
I have always loved roses and yellow roses are one of my favorites!
Did you know that by the 18th century, the world was in love with roses and
they could be found in may different colors.
The yellow rose is often associated with  sunny, cheery and happy thoughts!
And so with that thought -   I am wishing you a sunny and cheery day!

173842  Scor-Pal Measuring and Scoring Board
SMPOO1  Stamping Mat Pad
DDots  3 D Foam Circles

X-Press It card-stock, apricot colored card-stock,  olive colored card-stock, texture paste - white, small bricks stencil,  Rusty Hinge Distress Ink Pad and sponge dauber, Copic Alcohol Ink Markers: Y11, Y21, Y26, YR21, G21, G82, YG63, W3, W4.   Copic Multiliner Pens: yellow, orange and olive,  double sided tape, paper trimmer, embossing/die cut machine, Diamond Stickles,  Wink of Stella Glitter Pen - Clear

The Classic Rose Bouquet Cling Stamp  and Butterfly Medley Butterfly Cling Stamp was Inked with Tuxedo Black Memento Dye Ink Pad.   This is an ink that is Compatible with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers.   The images were stamped on X-Press It Blending Card Stock.  The Copic markers used were: Y11, Y21, Y26, YR21, G21, G82, YB63, W3, W4 and multilines yellow, orange and olive.    The images were then cut using the corresponding die - Classic Rose Bouquet Die and Butterfly Medley Die.  Die cut two extra sets of Classic Rose Bouquet on dark green  card stock.   This will be used to give the image dimension!   Layer 3-D Dots in-between the two green layers and then adhere the colored image on top.   For even more dimension, you can add dimensional dots or foam in-between the green die cut and the colored image.   The amount of dimension you want is up to you!  The dark green die cut will also  give the appearance of a shadow!    I gently shaped the leaves using my hands to give a gentle curve.  The back of the butterfly was lightly spritzed with a mini-mister.   The wings were gently shaped using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Tip:  Emma Lou has a wonderful video showing how easy it is to line the die on images for that perfect cut.   You can view the video here -  https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/video/61/the-fool-proof-way-to-line-up-your-stamps-and-dies The Fool-proof Way to Line Up Your Stamps and Die

A 5 1/2 x 5 1/2  inch card base was created.  The base layer of apricot card-stock was cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4  inches.   A  beautiful green and apricot colored paper was selected from the Classic Rose Designer Paper Collection and cut at 5 x 5 inches.   This is gorgeous by itself but I always love texture so I used some texture paste and small brick stencil to the right bottom side of the designer paper.   Rusty Hinge Distress Ink was sponged over the top.

The flowers and butterfly were adhered to the card.  For embellishment, Wink of Stella and Diamond and Stardust Stickles were applied to the flowers and butterfly.

Thank you so much for stopping by!    I hope you are able to hop around to the blogs of my team mates and to check out the fabulous video Emma Lou has created!
Be safe.  Have fun and be creative!
See you soon!
