Hipokute grass ｢ヒポクテ草, hipokute sō｣ is a type of rare herb that is used as an ingredient for making potions. Its leaves can also be ground and made into healing ointments, albeit less effective. It can be found in places with high magicule concentrations, like the Sealed Cave that formerly had Veldora sealed in.
Since Gabiru and his subordinates joined Tempest, they have been cultivating hipokute grass in the Sealed Cave, and later in the 93rd floor of the Dungeon.
In the Opening of the Monster City event, Gabiru and Vesta's research revealed that hipokute grass is actually ordinary grass mutated after being exposed to concentrated magicules, hence they appear almost the same in structure after having their essence fully extracted.
