The Enigma of Sisterhood was the thirteenth short story in Myths & Legends.

Summary[]

The Osirans corner Sutekh on the planet Zuliter, but are blocked from landing by the Sivin, a Sphinx-like entity that serves Sutekh. It poses them a riddle to solve, the answer to which will be a sacrifice that they must make to the Sivin before it will grant them access to the planet. Solving the riddle, Khonsu deduces it refers to her and her twin sister Hathor, the goddesses of the sun and moon. Although Horus is reluctant to sacrifice the sisters, they deduce that Sutekh is buying time to escape and agree to the Sivin's demands, only for it to merge with Khonsu and Hathor rather than kill them. The resultant gestalt watches as Horus and the other Osirans pursue Sutekh and finally apprehend him on Earth.
